I noticed the same thing about 18 - 24 months ago. She has a cute personality doesn't she? It is one reason I watch. Eric is is great too, but since I'm a guy I see the attractiveness in Alison more quickly.

I've seen so many UA-camrs start and finish their van renovations in the time you've been working on Clementine, but they haven't put hardly anywhere near as much sweat and tears as you have and you can definitely see the difference. I've loved watching this RV build!
It's definitely been a wild and extreeeeemely long ride, but we're so glad to have you there for it! It felt so good when Clementine was officially livable, but it feels even better now that it's becoming an actual home 🙌 but good lord, let that home be done soon! 🤣

French artist 👨🎨 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. Command hooks are really useful for hangin thinks too, and easy to remove and leave no marks.

I have watched many van builds on you tube and clementine is the not only the best build i have seen it is also looks like the most liveable build - almost no trade off with living in an apartment. For absolute beginners you have done a phenomenal job and I am so looking fwd to seeing your adventures in her with you new samurai.
A good tip for making more space for shoes is putting them so one faces into the closet and one faces out. Dont know how it makes a difference but it should give you enough room for at least one more pair
I'm convinced my great grandkids' great grandkids' will be watching them working on more RV projects 😂

Looks like you haven't lost your touch. Clementine is looking so good it really looks better than new. Your idea to put closet space without the weight is sure going to pay off when you have guests on the road. As usual, your editing is great. Having little tidbits at the beginning really helps garner attention and we want to see more at the end.
Glad you enjoyed the intro! We've been thinking about ways to switch things up in the edit and had fun messing around with the teaser. 😊 We're so happy to have organization without a ton of weight and can't wait to get friends on board soon!

You can use cloth baskets in that top cubby to hold the toilet roll. Cloth ones are flexible enough to squeeze out of that space, but stiff enough to hold stuff in. Baskets are just great for storage generally, there are some real nice ones out there you can match your interiors with. My top tip, measure your spaces carefully and take a tape measure when you shop for them.
Yes. I agree. The tape measure for baskets is a great 👍 suggestion 👌
If you want to save space under the shelf and get more shoe storage, on the side of the shelf that you were filming the closet from you can install a bunch of shoe hooks, or the "loop" style holders that you slide your shoes down in, all the way from the top of the shelf to the bottom! You can even do pegs on the side of it and you can slide the toilet paper rolls on them and free up the top shelf

If you find yourself needing more hanging space in the closet, get yourself some velvet hangers or collapsible hangers and you'll have a ton more room.

Thanks so much, Milla! And we think that same thing every time we get in there. We essentially have 4 "rooms" - bathroom, kitchen, living room and loft! We love a good ol' sprinter van, but we're so much happier with the extra space 🙌

Closet looks great you two! One trick for fitting more shoes into cubby space is to turn one shoe backwards of each pair - may give you enough space for another full pair. I learned that trick on UA-cam :)

since the pandemic so many travelers switched to van life. None of you [Kara and Nate; Flying the Nest; Raya and Louis; Eamon and Bec; you] make it look desirable at all. But you clearly have the nicest van/rv of all those stations. And you did it by yourself. Congrats.

Cedar is generally expensive. We built some planters a few years ago and paid over $100 for the 4 planks. but after being out in the weather for almost two years they are still strong and look good.
You should attach some hooks or cubbies to the door, especially the one from the bathroom

Since your car is in Florida, You should come here for a visit! Lots to see and do plus pretty good food. If you are into swimming and kayaking lots of beautiful springs or beaches. Plus we have warm weather! 🙂 Love the RV! It is beautiful. Great design choices too.

The closet came out great But I really liked the faceplate for the radio. Shame about the washers not fitting but I total faith that you will come up with a workaround

There is an RV identical to yours, well more beat up and dirty, in a garage in my town. I drove past it today and was like heyyy that's the same RV that Alison and Eric renovated! 😂
a Fruit Hammock (under cabinet storage) would also be a good idea.
We literally JUST added one to our wishlist. 🤣 Our friend has one in her kitchen and we both wanted to steal it for the RV. Such a great and adorable space saver!

Omg that wood price is so high! I did a huge cedar decorative fence and other things at my house last winter (2020) and it was only a couple hundred total! Insane!
