I’m not too sure about social working but I know that there’s always a way or a program that you could use. Just do more research and maybe try OVC maybe they have visas for social workers 😊

I would recommend YDP (a bit pricey but they’re very professional and help you for the whole 12-months you’re in America and they also offer an additional certificate that you could add to your resume) then there’s Workaway international- very good have a few friends that have gone using it, they’re based in country clubs also Petrina very nice team too 👌😊

Hey Khathu! So I can’t necessarily say ‘piece jobs’ cause you can only go for what you’re qualified for. Entering America as a South African is a lot! So they want A LOT from you especially to prove that you’ll be able to live in the country. With waitressing you’d have to be in hospitality or have years of experience in waitressing. You have to be employed before you even land on American soul 😓 I hope this makes sense

A program called YDP but after COVID they’re no longer there, I know work away international still takes people abroad
