I went to a thrift store yesterday ( first time in months!), and there wasn't much as far as hard goods, so I found myself looking at men's shirts. At first it was to see if I could find any for my nephew, but then I was like let me just take a chance, They were $2.99 each and of course my phone was dead so I couldn't comp. I picked a few just going off what I learned from you and then saw a button up with a Christmas scene. It was a Tori Richards and should bring at least $40. The others will be between 15-30, and they were freshly washed. I definitely took a page out of your book and picked up what was available near me. I'm hoping they sell fast to help offset the cost of some items I picked up from an auction that I may just have to keep for myself, at least for a lil while. I appreciate all that you teach us.

0h, Kat, you got me when you mentioned "another tattoo ". I am trying to discourage my teenage granddaughter not to acquire one. I am on your team-but this one escapes me. I am having a hard time wrap my brain around this. I, 2, was a nurse for 32 years:fyi.
I have quite a few already they're just ones that aren't seen. However things are different now and it's not looked at as bad. I know at my hospital you were allowed any tattoos as long as they weren't offensive
You may lose the tattoo battle. It is so mainstream now. But, if your teen/20-something is considering a tongue bar tell them to think on it. In my 30's I got several piercings, including a tongue barbell. Now, at 60, my teeth are crumbling from accidentally having bitten down on it while eating, all those years ago

The bird thing that made music waa just like one my granny had hanging on the back of her front door. She would know everytime it opened & closed. I too, had a snoopy snowcone maker. Thank you kat, yesterday when I was shopping I found a Nordstrom alpaca and wool through for $1 I was so excited, believe it or not I felt like I won lotto, but today I through it in machin to wash it with COLD water, but it came out like a felt. So mad and can not forgive myself…even though I am keep telling myself that I only paid $1 still doesn’t make the sadness go away. The funny thing is I am a fiber artist and work with paint and dyes and wool all the time, I still did something so stupid…

I just found a stash of womens nice clothes in the childrens section brought home a black label cashmere full zip long sleeve sweater for my wife $10 new these are $2-300.00,, there were other tops as well quilted sport jackets not sure of brands so grabbed the cashmere and kept shopping,,

You are like me when I am thrifting I pick up stuff I need around my.house.I rarely buy new clothes for myself .I keep a bin of shirts for my husband. He's a car machanic so its.shirts get filthy.I try.to get ones that have really ridiculous saying or grahics.

I'm sorry that you feel the need to get a sleeve tattoo. The upkeep to keep the colors bright and the lines from blurring is pricey. And aging tattooed skin that inevitably gets crepey and saggy is not attractive. Sorry, it's just my opinion...
Everyones entitled to that and do what they want and it's something I want to for myself and honestly untattooed saggy skin isn't exactly attractive either :/
