- Shop at Cabela's cabelas.xhuc.net/Bmdq0 I believe everyone loves great homemade ice cream and this three ingredient recipe has got to be the easiest home made ice cream recipe I have ever seen. My moms best homemade ice cream recipe made fantastic ice cream, but it was not this easy. As a small child the family would get together and us kids were taught how to make homemade ice cream. Now back in those days the homemade ice cream recipes were not made with an electric home made ice cream freezer. It was an old hand crank homemade ice cream freezer. The home made ice cream me made in this video was much easier to make then what we made in those days. But I tell ya I would love to go back to those wonderful days and make some great homemade ice cream with old family members that have gone one to be with the Lord. I hope you will give this recipe, that I consider the easiest home made ice cream recipe, a try. I really believe that homemade ice cream is one of the most special desserts you can share with your family, expecially with a hand crank freezer. Not because it is the best homemade dessert you have ever had, but because of the great family time you will have anticipating this wonderful homemade dessert. Now please remember to like my homemade ice cream recipe video I also thank you for sharing my video of "Easiest Homemade Vanilla Ice Cream Recipe | HomeMade Ice Cream Recipe With Chef Johnny" video.

Chef Johnny, you've brought back so many memories, some good, and some bitter sweet of my childhood. Summertime meant, Homemade Ice Cream season was upon us. It never failed.
Mama used to always cook her own ice cream batter using the Eagle Brand. milk. Strawberry and Banana were the usual flavors.
I had a good friend who used to come over to our house. As soon as he stepped into the house he'd say "Mom, you got any Eagle Brand"? Then she'd say "In the pantry Bob". Yeah, he'd eat that stuff right out of the can.
Everytime I hear or see a can of Eagle Brand milk I think of him. He was KIA in Vietnam back in 1967 IIRC. Great guy.
RIP Bob.
Thanks Chef Johnny.
Stan
I tell ya Stan that is what it is all about. Remembering loved ones and enjoying new memories we are making now. Thanks for watching and for sharing.
I made this recipe and turned out great. Only difference is I added 1 1/2 cup heavy cream to 10 1/2 cups milk to get my 12 cups. Then the 3 cans sweet condensed milk with 2 Tb vanilla extract. Same kind ice cream maker. Everyone loved it.
Thanks Johnny and team.

Getting our ice cream maker today and so excited to use it! I think I’m more excited for my grandchildren to see it being made or for me lol
It’s getting close to that time. I had better break mine out also.
Definitely an easy recipe, and process. Happy Birthday Libby. Nicely Done. Thanks for sharing. 😎.
It was a great evening and the ice cream was fantastic. Thanks for watching.
Thanks for the video.
For a creamier taste, replace the whole milk with heavy whipping cream.
If heavy cream is too heavy and whole milk is too weak, try using Half & Half instead.
Thanks for watching and for the tips
Great looking Ice cream Chef ... I love homemade ice cream my grandparents used to make it all the time

Its really hot here (S. OK) too. And after watching that, I've got to dust off the old ice cream maker and get busy. We sometimes cut in fruit, candy bars, etc. Hey, it's ice cream - no way to go wrong!
Well let me know how it turns out for ya.
Happy birthday Libby. Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth bless you. John 3:16. Love your channel brother. Such great people.
Thank you so much Steve.
Happy B-Day Libby thanks Chef

Makes me wonder why we don’t do this more often. It’s a small, good thing. Ice cream on a hot day like today. Peach ice cream. When are those Fredericksburg peaches coming in?
Zippy those peaches start getting ready in May
Texas Style BBQ and Cuisine Out here in West Texas we don’t get any Fredericksburg peaches. We just get those hard grocery store ones that never ripen.
@@teddysalad8227 I run up to Fredericksburg now and then and we will pick some up or sometimes there are people selling them on the side of the road around here.
Is the Eagles brand milk condensed milk or evaporated milk???
It's condensed milk I paused the video and read the can. LOL 🤣
Condensed. Thanks for watching
Thanks for helping out
In the video while pouring you say tablespoon of vanilla but recipe in description says teaspoon?
Thanks for letting me know about that. It is indeed 1 1/2 tablespoons. Thanks for watching and for letting me know.
@@TexasStyleCuisine No problem at all. I made the recipe, it was fantastic and super easy! Thanks again!
nice
Thanks, I appreciate you watching.
Hi did you use condensed or evaporated milk🤔
eagle brand condensed milk. If you click show more it takes you to the description box and the entire recipe is there. Thanks for watching.
I made it last night it's delicious thanks for sharing😝😝
i have the same one
Thanks for watching I sure do appreciate it.
I would add vanilla bean to enhance flavor
That would do it. Merry Christmas
I prefer the simple recipes myself. Although I do make some recipes with the eggs.
This simple recipe was surprisingly good, it kind of reminds me of when mom made ice cream out of snow.
Will this get rock hard, if stored in the freezer?
It will get very hard in the freezer. Thanks for watching.
Every single recipe I have tried that uses milk instead of heavy cream has not been good. It's not creamy in texture but icy and lumpy. Worst of all you can't serve it straight from the freezer. I usually microwave it to soften it enough to spoon out. I have found a custard ice cream meets all my needs for creaminess and ease to serve. My recipe is 3 cups heavy cream and 1 cup whole milk. Heat to 170°f. Do not boil. Meanwhile whip 5 egg yolks with 2/3 cup sugar until creamy and pale. Slowly add hot cream to temper eggs while mixer is running on low speed. Mix 3 minutes. Return mixture to stove and heat, stirring constantly, to 170°f. Do not boil. Strain through fine mesh, add 1 Tablespoon vanilla and cool overnight. Churn per instructions for your machine. Remember nothing comes from easy and a bit of extra is worth the effort 😊
That is an excellent way to do it. I like a custard base also. This recipe was for a quick easy method for those that do not want to take the time you are putting into yours. Thanks for Watching.
What brandname is that ice cream machine?
I do not know off hand. I will have to ask the wife. I would bet it is from Walmart though.
Is that sweetened condensed milk?????
Yes it is. Thanks for watching. The recipe is in the description box. Just click show more
mwa mwa milky adopt me pls
lol Thanks for watching
Oh no. I’ll never make ice cream that way again Too much work and mess. There are better ways today 😅
So true, but it is the nostalgia and fond memories that go with it.
She really seems unimpressed by your humor.😂
lol well after all these years she probably hears it much to often. lol
So confusing
lol I did a three ingredient recipe to keep it simple. lol sorry it was confusing.
Hold on....no cream..just milk and condensed milk??
This recipe was a minimum recipe and it’s not bad at all. I do have a much better recipe, this is one to show a very easy way to make homemade ice cream.
@@TexasStyleCuisine Thankyou. I will try it. Please share your better one. Ive been searching for the vanilla ice cream I had as a child from the ice cream man..served from a silver aluminium container. Still havnt found a recipe that comes close to it.
Let me look it up. :It is a custard base and you actually cook it. It was my moms.@@sj460162

@@gradyrogers6707 sorry for that. Do you have questions
Hey Johnny, never mention a woman's age anywhere. We all know she looks about 59.
lol good advice there.
What the hell happened to churning by hand. You could not run fast enough to give me a damn electric churn. Been there and no more of that junk. Get you big ass on the floor, grab the handle and churn. It only takes about 15 minutes to hand churn and it will be much colder than that weak junk you have there can churn. To this day I have a White Mountain hand churn in my pantry and it still works very well. They are not cheap but well worth the price. Electric churn. Damn. You can have the old lady sit on the churn while you churn. That is the way we still do it. Motor stalling out. Another reason to have a hand churn.
lol can’t see my wife setting on the churn. Before I was old enough to turn the churn I was the churn setter. Lol good times back then. I did have a hand crank. Had my kids use when they were young. It is definitely the better ice cream. Thanks for watching and for adding to then conversation.
