Seeing One Piece in the perspective of a regular Navy Soldier really puts into perspective how monstrously overpowered a lot of people are. It's terrifying being just some dude in One Piece.

@@Renko324 tbf, getting too accustomed to seeing characters powerful in their own right surviving these situations, one might come to think _everyone_ in OP is just absurdly more strong/durable than a real person, as a baseline. To some extent, having to share the same walking space with such creatures _would be_ an unthinkable nightmare, let alone having a war with them.
I really love that they made rhis show,as short as this video was it truly gives you an idea of how the people in one piece view the strawhats. I mean this little girl was more than willing to risk her life to give Nami a letter, and even though she didnt get to give it to nami she at least got to see her idol from a far, that alone was enough for her. It kinda reminds me of how youll see someone you want to talk to from a far but you never get the chance to before they're already walking away, you can see not only her but like a subway train amount of people were there, like lots and lots. I wish there would be more of this, you can see how the strawhats save the lives of people they dont even know. People admire them so much that some if not all of them would probably be willing to go through a lot just to even say hi to them, what i mean is that they are no regular pirates, they leave marks on the world that arent destruction but rather hope and inspiration for others. Rather than hearing their crews name and running off in fear(unless you're an enemy) people would instead run to them or probably not even budge since the strawhats dont go putting fear in anyone,im pretty sure there was a ceryain panel where the little fishmen children wore mini strawhats like Luffy. They are people rhat not only background characters but people in real life admire, they are a diverse bunch which means that even if you dont admire all of them there is still one person out of the crew you'd pick, maybe like Nami's confidence or Luffy's strength, rather than fearing them people want to be like them in a sense.
They are pirates but that doesn't mean they are good people,it's like having two roles, the good one and the supposed bad one, like with Marines they too are hero's but not all of them are good people. For pirates a lot of them are bad or not exactly heros but some of them can be good like luffy and the rest, luffy says he isn't a hero but he can be viewed as such, but to be honest even though they go against the government and stuff and that's bad they aren't bad morally and do good things
@@cwega2463 It will go from here into a remaster of Fishman Island, which is good because the original animation is arguably the worst of the whole story for me. Except for certain scenes, the arc is unwatchable in the anime.

Megumi Ishitanis artistic vision is legit breathtaking. The way each scene is composed is so extravagent but personal at the same time. God, i love One Piece 😭
It's crazy how these meta-humans in the one piece world don't even cover 1/4 of the population but their every move creates a ripple effect that affects the normal citizen's lives. the world of one piece is def scary

Alot of anime don't show their World building to the fullest, but One Piece does beyond that: Every place they go they influence the people around, even BEFORE their arrival. Them being influencers all around the World gives people the idea of how they're built different from the other pirates, they're not evil, just free. And that, is the thing that everyone in sea, land, air want to have. Them being the unreachable star that shines from afar is all they need to motivate them to follow their dream.
This is truly a masterpiece. The full circle of thee strawhats influencing this girl they’ve never met, to the very same girl not only influencing but SAVING the strawhats which she’s never met. Fantasmical ep 200/10
