Attention, a high excursion of the cone can certainly be useful in the reproduction of low frequencies .. but the other side of the coin is an increase in distortion ... noticeable especially if it is used as a mono way ...
Depends on how it was designed
analogaudio rules in part it is true but it remains nonsense .. to reproduce the lower frequencies it is necessary to move a lot of air and despite having a good excursion the diameter of the cone is limited ... if it is used as a woofer the DOPPLER effect is inevitable however it is drawn. .. Let's say that used within its limits it will certainly be appreciated by those who want "music with a bit of basdi". if you go to my channel you will see some projects in which I use a 10 cm woofer where the limits for the tuning frequency are indicated .. 👋
For people who dislike this stuff don't know high quality videos and true meaning of good sound
NerdyBassHead 2004 , you can't really say, "good sound" when the driver isn't even boxed. Especially when the microphone is most likely picking up the positive, and negative waves at the same time. Therefore, what are you hearing,,? The waveforms are cancelling out each other.
may i ask what model of woofer is it? and where can it be found?

Those look identical to the sundown audio subs we use in our spl systems lol.. Except from being 12s 15s 18s its a 3" lol... Honestly these are basically the same drivers that are inside the jbl xtreme 2. Samsung owns harmon and jbl..

frequency response specs would have been cool... ill bet it sounds interesting in a box that optimizes it, though with 3" cone, no matter how much throw u have, its just not gonna go deep... certainly deepr though than any ordinary 3 incher thats for sure!

Liam music and gaming listen to it. Can you hear sounds all the way from the bass drum/guitar all the way up to hi-hats and cymbals with good clarity? If so, it's a fullrange. That's the simple answer, the scientific answer is that a fullrange typically has a response from 100Hz to 18kHz or greater.

which is better between this and dayton audio nd105-4.?
I don't own an nd105 so I can't completely say. But compared to the nd91 I do have, I prefer this. It sounds more controlled to me.

Isaac Fragmatic if space isn't an issue, the tangband W4-1720 is fantastic. If it is an issue, look at neo drivers such as the nd105.

What you don‘t get ar it ? Loe frequency and small drivers are can not play loud, but deep an distorted because the Driver is to small to get low frequencys THD free.
