I have a one year old daughter that is hard to put to sleep sometimes. One night I was having trouble putting her to sleep for two hours in the middle of the night rocking her to sleep. I was browsing through Facebook and one of my friends shared this awesome video. I was amazed how talented the girl in the video is and how easy she made it looked. Next thing I know my daughter was sound asleep. The music is so beautiful and soothing that it calms her down. That night I witnessed two beautiful angels, one playing music and the other sleeping. Now, anytime I need to calm her down, I play this video. My daughter even claps to the music while falling asleep. Thank you Kate for making beautiful music, you now have two new fans :)

Alex You can purchase a good tongue drum for a few hundred bucks. They have a beautiful sound and offer more resonance therefore easier for a beginner to play. Just make sure you get a pentatonic scaled drum.

It’s all because of you Kate!! THIS particular video is the one that started my whole handpanning journey. Listened to it everyday for an entire year before I bought my first Handpan. And now … I have many, have traveled all over the states, been on stages, play regularly for yoga and meditation type classes, AND for animals!, and hang with other Women of Steel as often as possible!!
