    Layers are arranged as per P1-N1-P2-N2, it is not P1-N1-P2-P2, its bit writing error.

    Good Explanation sir.. I want some clarification in this concept .
    1) How to anode current comes to zero ? and again go to negative peak ? (shall we decrease supply voltage for this?)
    2) How to remove charge carries at junctions (J1,J2,J3). (for this shall we apply any voltages (forward or reverse voltages) across junctions.
    3) While removing charge carries at J1,J3, why it come to negative peak and again goes towards the steady state but while removing charge carries at J2 this is not happen why?

    Vbo=(Break over voltage).
    Sir,As we know that to turn ON SCR ,the three junctions must be in forward,also known that to turn ON we have to provide gate signal.
    Without gate signal to turn ON SCR we provide Vbo .Sir I want to know that when we want to turn ON without gate signal using Vbo. Is in this condition j2 remain in forward baise yes or not. If yes then how

    • @EngineeringFunda
      @EngineeringFunda  5 років тому

      J2 is in reverse bias when anod is +very with respect to cathode , and when j2 breaks down SCR conducts . If you increase gate current then break down voltage of j2 goes low.
