Such a blessing in hearing your goals, about disciplining children, we have 12 children, and what you will find out is no child's personality is the same, always lean in to Jesus and trusting Jesus, as the children grow older, sometimes things seem messy, but trust Jesus in the process, Jesus never let's you down, where there's no test there's no testimony, may God bless you on your journey

It seems I have to ask God to forgive me every day. Just things like getting aggravated, impatience but, the small sins are just as big as some of the worse sins out there in God’s eyes. I am thankful I found your channel. It is a breath of fresh air to see young adults bring their family in a Godly way. Thank you. I love the old Hymns.

Oh wow, the Channel name Finally changed. That threw me for a loop for a second there. Such a Good video. I Love Asher's comment to Calum. That's SO Classic. I don't know any kids at that age who share words of wisdom like that...of course I don't know many kids that age Either, but still. :)

I love how Y'all both have your own goals and you set goals together and work them out and work on them alone and together as a family. So many things I wish I'd known as a young married person. I am currently 63 and have been single for many years. But even now I am still and ever will be learning and learning lots from Y'all as well.

When I brought my children to church or to grandparents or a friends home - Once I had the children in the car, I would turn around and explain to them where we were going, how they were expected to behave, remind them of what behavior is unexceptable in the place we are going. And then I would tell them what the consequence would be if they didn't behave. I started this with them around ages 2 & 3. I never believed in time-out. However my husband was the son of a preschool teacher, and once he "disciplined" one of our children, by making them stand with their nose against the front door. The goal was to have the nose there as many minutes as their age. He fell asleep on the couch while watching the clock!!! That child seriously learned the lesson.

I’m very thankful for y’all. Am excited for this next season with the podcast and the field of listening ears to hear Gods word thru y’all. Prayers for the many of hearts that will be changed for the Lord through this.
Jessie - I heard recently from another family about their approach of apologizing, as this is something I am working on myself being more intentional in showing my family that I need to recognize when I fall short and how I can utilize it to teach the gospel to my child(ren) - we fall short, we ask for forgiveness and apologize and God forgave us already - our constant need for the Lord Can be shown in so many ways throughout our ministry as a momma and wife! How sweet the sound of a sweet baby singing for Jesus. Blesses my heart every time. 💕

Yes, playing Christian music before church gets your spirit ready to worship. It sets a peaceful mood when played during the day for all to hear. It doesn't need to be loud. My g-g-son (10 yo) was playing video games while worship music was softly playing in the background in my kitchen and I could hear him singing along with parts of it. We don't know how much their brains are absorbing. Whether it is modern music or hymns, that have stood the test of time, they feed your spirit..

I loved this video! It resonated with me so much!! I’ve only been going to church for almost 2 years now and was baptized last Sept and my heart has been on fire for God. My little family and I have grown so much with our church and in our relationship with God. We listen to worship music all throughout the day and I have a Bible study plan that is about 2 hours of my day. I just love it! I wake up and thank the Lord and go to bed thanking the Lord, things I had never done before but has created so much peace in my life now. I am a step-mom to a teenager but soon I hope to have my own littles and I want to be able to share and show them a Godly lifestyle (something I never had). You both are so inspiring and I can’t wait for the podcast. It sounds like yall have so many topics lined up and I am here for it!!!
Thank you for sharing your wisdom and I look forward to so much more ❤ God bless Toups!!

I was raised in a Baptist Church. We also sung the old Christian Hymns. I love these songs but nowadays at our church we sing more modern songs. One of my favorite hymns is The Old Rugged Cross. Some other songs I love is It is well with my soul, Amazing Grace and Nothing but the blood of Jesus. I love your new family channel name. I have been a subscriber for quite a while and I love your beautiful family and love your love for the Lord. God Bless your family. Can’t wait for more videos. Your baby is so precious.

Our church does the same, many have asked for a stronger mixture. However I was surprised one Sunday when My son, who was 15-ish at the time told me that his favorite song in the hymnal was The Old Rugged Cross ❤️

I love your family. Your messages are filled with the spirit of wisdom and counsel. And I appreciate it. As a single mom fighting for custody to keep my daughter because her father was abusive toward me and seems to be doing the same to her. But the legal system isn’t set up to be helpful. And this video brought tears to my eyes. I have been struggling to make decisions about attorneys and how to handle and advocate for my daughters safety And realizing how god didn’t intend for me to be the leader of the house and my family so no wonder I’m having such a difficult time. But even through my sin my Yahweh gave me my beautiful girl And he will continue to supply my needs according to his riches. And even though the world is against me and saying I’m not a fit mother because I’m falsely accusing her father of abuse. I know Jesus is fighting for me. So thank you for setting such a great example. And helping bring some grace to myself for struggling so much

@@OurFruitfulFamilyI watched this twice. I am in my infancy, so videos like this help. I feel a huge sin, because I walked away from Him, the last ten years. And I had just started my walk with Him, a year before. I think of where I could be, in my faith, and what I could know had I not walked away. So that’s a heavy sin to bare. I married a ‘man of God’. Our wedding was in glory to God. Spiritual music was played throughout the service and prayers were said. The song, Jesus Messiah, played during the unity candle lighting, which included my children. The first year, we prayed, read the Bible, went to church, etc. Then it stopped. He completely changed and became abusive. I was angry at God. I thought He sent this man to me. So I walked away from my faith. I say all this because the minute I found this channel I felt safe. I felt the need to get my Bible out. I wasn’t reminded of the hurt. This channel brought God back to me, and I’m so thankful.

Take courage in knowing this, that though God used our channel as a means to do so, He is the one that drew you to Himself. He draws His people to himself. God chose you, you didn’t choose God.

“You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit…”

@@OurFruitfulFamily God can put people in your life. To guide you, etc. I truly believe that. Why did I feel the need to get my Bible out, after finding your channel? I couldn’t go to church with a friend a year ago. I couldn’t listen to the music on my phone, that was spiritual. I was taken back to what I went through. So why could I pick up my Bible, pray, and listen to worship music, after finding this channel. I felt the need to have God in my life. I felt no pain from the past. I will always be thankful for this channel, Cody, and Jessie.

Hi my dear friends (yeah, that's how I consider you now 😊)
If you're interested in an beautiful family example with many children, try and have a look at the lives of Sts Louis and Zélie Martin. They were the parents of St Therese de Lisieux, who became Doctor of the Church. What great example!! I hope it gives you some keys!

Obviously, the pain/grief/anger is still there, and my family members won't come back 😢😢 but I'm slowly finding some peace. I need to go forward for me, for them.
