What do you think of these new iphones and the pairing to only that specific phones parts. I watched a video of a guy with two new iphone's swap out new phone parts from one phone to another. when done nether phone would function. Once swapped back to their original parts they both functioned again?
Brother I really appreciate your videos I bumped into you by accident because I want to get back into fixing phones and u really opened up my eyes I wish I had the four bills to take your class keep doing your thing and suppliers u recommend for screen s
Buying phones, repairing them, and reselling I dont do anymore. Stopped a long time ago. I tell people it's a great way to learn repair. I learned how to repair phones using that method but I moved on to repair for customers.
@@backfatbetty9145 the way I did it, I would refurbish the entire phone. That's how I made a better profit. But it takes long to do that. Took to much of my time.
I have been comparing shop prices in my city and it's true what you said only 1 out of 5 does glass only. And they still ask a lot and only do the s8. Seems like a gap in the market to me
I’m a little confused how does having a broken screen help you repair broken glass without the lcd/oled. Why even change out the frame? Sorry I’m new to repairing.
Richard Meza ahh I get it you can replace the entire shell then take the broken screen shell to a shop to have it frozen and removed, attach a new screen yourself. Getting you an entire new screen and shell. Basically harvesting the working display right? Sorry I’m learning iPhones mostly right now but thanks for the awesome content.
@@Localpref416 Yes. You can do it that way. Wont make as much profit but it let's you offer glass only repair if you dont have the proper equipment to do it yourself.
Gotta buy Richards course. That is the marketing punch line. Can't blame him for doing the R&D and wanting $$$ for it. I believe he is trying to remove himself from the repair business via his course revenue etc... that he would most likely put in the bank and actually have more $$$ than repairing. That way he can move on to something else. Like maybe taking a lot of vacations, cruises, and etc. Nothing wrong with that CEO style thinking.
The Samsung screen replacements cost so much it's not worth buying the replacement then trying to resell and make a profit (At least from the supplier I have been going thru) I have two Samsungs sitting on my work desk hat work just need screens and I just don' think it's worth putting money into
@@justinmurphy3976 I currently on July 15th am buying those full display screens for S7 $73 and the S8+ for $134. - That's the current pricing in USD. Where are you from? Also if you know how to do glass only repair on a galaxy S8+ and a S8+ phone just needs cracked glass replaced but the LCD is good, the glass costs just $15. So you can fix a phone for $15 and resell it if just the glass is cracked. Basically you are refurbishing the screen with glass only repair.
@@RichardMeza I'm from Iowa. They need glass and LCD's. I know glass only is way cheaper and more profitable, I don't have the freezer to do glass only yet. I got a little ways to go before I make the jump on buying one of those. Who is your supplier?

Do you ever buy cracked phones to repair and sell on? I was thinking about doing this as well as repairs for others

The glass replacements I've been getting are actually plastic. Where can I buy all glass?
