I used to think (some 4 years back) that Jetpack Compose was just a transitionary, 'getting developers used to it' thing ultimately for shifting them to Flutter and Fuchsia OS ecosystem but now, I'm not sure what's going to happen with any of it.
If Google stops supporting Flutter no one will ever trust Google ever again. They are already making poor choices from quite some time if they continue to mess with the company they will lose its position as the number one in tech
Right now there's no set date for the stable launch. It's something that multiple browser vendors will be working on at the same time for Chrome, Firefox, and so on. If you want to track Chrome's progress, though, this is the link: chromestatus.com/feature/6062715726462976!
The only thing that's stopping me from using flutter is that there is no convenient way to (de-)serialize JSON Objects. This code generation thing is absolutely hideous. I've read that such serializers requrires runtime reflection, but since you can swap out a whole renderer (which is a fundamental part of flutters architecture), it seems doable to implement a solution to solve serialization problems as well. Another thing i dislike about Dart is the repetitive declaration of class variables with a constructor. Look at Kotlin for example, if a class variable is passed via the constructor, you don't need to specify it in the class itself but specify it with a public/private keyword in the constructors parameters. Please do some work here to save the developers time and NOT to rely on code generation or snippets.
first please make a light weighted faster emulator to run flutter app before that whatever features you have update in flutter doesn't make any sense, please do it

Good to see Compose is coexisting with Flutter, wishing that Google keeps supporting Flutter for a long time!!
Yep! I think both are going to be around for a long time to come. :)

I'm not sure about the overall theme, but if you meant the indentation colors, it seems like "indent-colorizer" extension for VSC.

Sounds good for me, so we must make a backend for flutter from strach? or we must use another framework as a backend for flutter apps? thank you :)

Does anyone know which plugin is being used on 2:55 that shows that colorful vertical bars for the indentation?

Coming from Android and Kotlin, it feels like a big step back.

Im a big flutter fan but the json dances you have to perform are horrible. It is beyond me how they came up with that.
The Scottish spelling of the name "Thompson". 👍
Still, no cloud functions writing in Dart?
why no one is talking about loading time it takes for flutter web app to render.
