I run a cheap Bluetooth cassette through my factory unit, works really well with no messy cables or anything. Makes a big difference to the look as well. Great videos, keep them up.
the different colour of those plated steel parts is because years ago Cadmium was used for its excellent plating properties but was found to be acutely poisonous and a probable carcinogen, so it was removed from the Zinc plating process.
@@MindieJ in 2018 they had already stopped as I think there is a cut off point, my importer checked to see if mine had the revised arms, which luckily it did, you could contact Mitsubishi with your chassis number, It’s worth a few emails, you never know
all of the manufacturers moved away from the gold cadmium plating to the silver zinc plating. most likely due to it being less cancerous haha. You can tint the zinc to make it look gold but it never lasts anywhere near as long and doesnt quite look the same
Great to see you back mate. I have to ask… how much were all the parts you bought in the cardboard box that you started opening at the 15 min mark? I’m just curious Cheers 👍
I know exactly how you felt when bidding closed lmao, picked up a pair of ganadors a few days ago, went from zero bids to like 13 in a span of 5 minutes, longest 10 minutes of my life waiting for the confirmation haha Out of curiosity, what postage method did you go with?
Its been a while since you last uploaded bit like myself its been well over 5 months i think 🤦♂️🤦♂️ but life with kids will do that, anyway where can we send you a sticker ill send one of mine your way to chuck on your toolbox 😉
@@frsr416 completely depends on the items you buy. I bought some S13 sidemarkers that cost nearly $100 in shipping and fragile packaging fees, but then ordered a small model car a few weeks later that cost around $25 for delivery. You can also bulk package orders too if you buy a lot of stuff within 30 days of each other
@@MindieJ it would be right from that perspective mate I’m a mechanic by trade and seen it done before without issues . I can’t really say in your situation as I didn’t weld it or know how it was prepped and cleaned/ welded but when done properly it will be fine just doesn’t look pleasant. All the best car looks amazing Chris 👌👌
Hard race ball joints are bad quality not that good, from reviews on hondas they break easily, go with a good Japanese brand such as 555 ball joints thy have stood the test of time, everyone who has used hard race ones they don’t last, hard race just use china items which have been painted different colour

Welcome back bro always think I should get an original GC8 Radio back in my car. Great video mate.
You should! When a local one pops up I’ll grab one for mine
Mate, what an EVO is that, so mint, well done

Good to see you again mate!
I’d use the old one

Definitely a life long partner this one
Been missing these vids 👌🏼
We back BABY!
The cracks on those arms were actually a re call by Mitsubishi back in the day, they replaced with a stronger arm under warranty
You rekn they will replace them still under warranty after 25 years still? 😏

Yes I have noticed Mitsubishi has changed from Gold to Silver zinc. Most of the new parts I am getting now all are in silver.
Weird 🤷🏼♂️

about $800 or so
factory head units sell for over $1000 ?? wow think of how many would have been pulled out and discarded over the years.
Next level perfection! 👌
Glad you think so!
Holy shit parts really do come overnight from Japan
Literally
bruhh i was thinking to buy a car now in know which car should buy
Honda civic?
OCD to the max but I love it, great content.
Question, what do you do with all the old parts that are still immaculate?
put in the mitsubishi packet and put them in a box

There seems to be a lot of “prohibited” and “oversized” items in buyee. Is there any way around this?

how does the shipping work with buyee.
The seller in Japan ships it to Buyee, who then send it to you from their warehouse. It's usually a fairly quick process
As above
