You’re getting really efficient with the snow thrower and box blade. We have not had enough snow to clean down here but Thursday looks promising 60% chance but not sure how much yet. Thanks for the video Canadian Cuz 😁👍🚜💨☀️
Good afternoon Ross, Nice video! The snow and Christmas lights look great. and a good tip👍 3rd snow storm so far, I'd say it's going to be a busy winter. Have a great weekend, Ben 👋😎👍❄️❄️🍻
Great video and great tips on the arms underneath. I've been out 3 times maybe 4 to clear snow and now after that warm up we had here in Sask, I can drop the blower down on its shoes as I have a nice hard pack of snow and ice. Catch you in the next one.
Good morning, I've had a BX23X for 2 years, (with a Kurtis cab :)) absolutely love it. It has been a learning curve to use as I've never owned a tractor. I have a long gravel driveway and the last 2 years (with not that much snow) I used my front mounted snowblower which is very similar to yours (most likely the same). This year I've decided to try using my front bucket and a rear blade to plough. I do have a steep gravel driveway so good tire chains are absolutely essential (ask me how I learnt this if you wish). So far, I've liked the functionality of having my loader and pallet forks available to me during the winter months. Here in Alliston, ONT we have have had some snow accumulation and I've found the bucket works well. I did purchase the bucket level indicator which has made using the bucket so much more efficient. I'm in two minds on purchasing a snow pusher (approx $1500) and selling my front end snowblower and quick K connect. Thank you so much for taking the time to do your video's and merry christmas.
Hello Richard! And thank you. How did you find out chains are a good thing 😜 I originally had a front blade on my side by side, and that was not great in deep snow. My only thought in 2020 was to get the snow as far away as possible so a blower is all I thought about. But thinking back if I was just clearing the driveway a FEL would be fine. I do want a rear angled blade though. And yes a pusher would be very handy. Being in Ontario as we are, there are going to be winters that I'll be glad to have a blower, but for the past few years snow has been a lot less. Have a great weekend.
Snow blowing. If you had a plow on, you would be plowing. Just my take on it. 12C/54F here yesterday. The little bit of snow we had is gone. Have not cleared the driveway of snow yet.
Oh! I was wondering how the snow was for you. Ya I keep getting stuck on "Plowing" even though I don't do that. I used to say "shoveling" when I would use the walk behind.. so I guess that's progress lol. Have a good weekend.
Ross: I put my blower on last Sunday, all by myself. That big metal piece that goes between the tractor and blower is extremely heavy. It took me a while but I man handled it. I have cleared my side field and so far, have replaced 2 shear pins. Lots of snow here, 6". Rained the other day so the snow has a crust on it now. Funny to watch the blue jays try to land on it. All is good here. Take care and stay safe. PS: really cold here today.
Ya that K-connect has some really narrow tolerances for sure. Definitely the worst part of the entire FEL removal and Blower install. Ya very cold here as well. I should have waited 1 more day to clear the driveway as the ice is on the pavement now. Was trying to avoid that. Have a great weekend!
Tractors on ice! Fun! Great edit!
Thank you!
Jealous Ross. Haven’t had to plow or snowblow yet. Have a great weekend. 👍❄️❄️☃️
You wanted it too much Bob! 😂 You'll get some soon I gather. Have a great weekend! Thank you.
It is always cool to watch your snow clearing action, thanks. Great advice on the mid mount
You are welcome! Glad I could provide some entertainment. Have a good weekend

Thanks Mitch, it's going up in the plus weather again this week so not much more snow. Take care.
Nice job Ross. Good tip on the mid mount. I’ve never adjust mine so I better try it out next time I’m out in the shop. Thanks for sharing.
You should have done it when you changed your Fuel Filters!!!! 😜
@ yea a day to late! Oh well. Next time for sure. 👍
@maintenancewithmike lol

Yup 3rd already. I'm hoping for relatively good snow this season and we are off to a good start. Cheers and have a good weekend Ben.

That's exactly the same as here. I'm ready for the big dumps of snow now. Cheers and have a good weekend

@RossOnTheLand I was watch the youtube channel "GP outdoors" he has a video on chains. You may not need them as your driveway is asphalt
@richardw4132 ah yes! Gord has great content. I definitely don't need chains in my driveway, that would not allow me to do donuts with my BX! 😂

👍🏻👍🏻🎄🎄🇨🇦🇨🇦☕️☕️. You have a great day Ross and Adain
@noelstractors-firewood57 stay warm!
What a sloppy mess it’s been. I still haven’t even put my snowblower on. Have a good one!
Turning cold! Get on it. 😁 Everything is iced over here.
I call it clearing snow. Plow is with plow hands down.
Oh! Ya clearing snow is a good catch all thanks.

Snowblowing Lakeway.
Excellent! 👌
My mid mower arms are probably seized since I have never used them and don't plan on using them. No stickers yet....
Hello, I don't use mine either, but I will keep them moving even just a bit. Canadian Postal Strike is still on. :(
