1:55:48 apparently that's for an unfinished level called "lime's a beach" buried in the game files. or so says two reddit posts, both from the same guy. it might be added in a future update/dlc, i can't imagine they'd just leave the outline there and never use it.
The "pippo-tastic" skin is a reference to the lil yellow birds you find in every level.
I gotta say, the Satan boss is so much easier when you realize you can slide under his feet lol

unironically, im kinda upset they didn't keep that in. Like, i get it, you have to stop to pick them up and it replaces your clutch boost with a pickup button iirc but still, it was cute and made them actually feel like plants you were scrounging around for rather than... a non-descript crate carrying it for no reason. It made it feel more lively, yknow?

It was also my first instinct when I started doing the combo chains in this game to go do the mall level. It's like actually a fairly fun level but in your first playthrough it just doesn't convey the objective very well at all. It's probably one of the easiest in the late game because it's so linear and short.

I honestly dont get the criticism that this game is "too much" and that it hurts its ability to be replayed. I feel like you were comparing this game to pizza tower when it wasnt necessary. Even the devs said that its not at all like pizza tower and that its more like crash Bandicoot or Earthworm Jim. I think this self imposed projection of the game probably hurt the experience for yourself than it otherwise would've. You should be able to enjoy the game on its own merits imo.
honestly you should really trust me when I say I judged this game on its own merits. I feel like many times during these streams I made it clear out loud that I think it'd be silly to use pizza tower as a basis for evaluating this game and I figured after I'd beaten the game, I could briefly compare the two because people were asking me if this game was gonna get the same treatment I gave to pizza tower, and I understand why they were asking that because it's a very comparable game, probably the single closest parallel besides wario land 4. I was really worried people might get the impression my whole opinion on this game was as reductive as "pizza tower better lol" and I really feel that it's not, so sorry if I'm getting a little defensive here. this was a really really great game but in the end I truly think it was a little too anxiety-inducing and irritating for me to want to dig deeper into completionist stuff.

1:01:55 I think the idea with pressing down to jump higher is that you're supposed to press down as you hit the box, so like, you're stomping it harder and therefore bouncing off of it higher. like, it's not supposed to be, you hold down the entire section and diagonal left and right.
No. by "holding it down", it means holding down the jump button to go higher.
@@SpaceGunMan oh, then I have no clue what the confusion was then. I guess he thought the floating demon thing meant to hold down on dpad when the floating demon thing had meant hold down the jump button. Oh well.
