It was written by Zane Williams, the lead singer. He's a phenomenal songwriter. He wrote every song on the album but two, and many for other artists. I got to meet him and the band when they came to Fort Smith, AR, a while back and talk about writing with him and the guitar player Paul Eason. The nicest guys, they treated me like an equal despite the fact that I'm just a local nobody. It was the best two days of my life, especially in music.
Thanks for all the kind words. Make sure to head to our website www.thewilderblue.com/ we have a great membership program called The Hideout. It lets you hear new songs as they are created, from demo to finished product. The goal is to post a brand new song to the Hideout Members once a month and you can download it for free as well. We can't wait to make if over to the UK once things normalize.
I saw y’all play with steel woods in Nashville a couple months ago and i have y’all on repeat. So damn good, can’t wait to see again! Shoutout to the homie from my hometown of Lebanon, TN!
Glad you liked this song. So many good songs from this album as well like 'the eagles', 'evergreen' and 'palomino gold'. Ps my mention around chris stapleton was for your man by Josh Turner which he wrote.
You cant go wrong with Zane Williams. A very underrated singer/songwriter. I, shamefully, haven't kept up with his newer stuff like I should but Zane's album "The Right Place" is one of my favorites of all time. Please do more Zane!!
Zane is an amazing songwriter, he wrote a lot of songs for big nashville singers. You should look into Dollyshine - The Dark. Honestly any song of theirs is great but that one is one of mh personal favorites
Fyi, I made a mistake with this! It wasn't written by Chris Stapleton!
Imagine Chris would be happy to claim this one haha
It was written by singer of the band Zane Williams, who has lots of great solo stuff available too.
@@TheWilderBlue yo it's the band's real account
