It's quite simple: disconnect the front gear servo from the main board and move the main gear into the position you want it to be. Disconnect the battery and reconnect the gear servo to the main board. Now connect the battery and everything works fine. It is a little bit more challenging to get the 360° servos for locking the gear working into the right direction...but I have also solved this one :).

Front gear servo do you mean the one that drives the front gear motor?

take the wire for the front retrac and switch polarity at the module instead of black to black go black to pos.

Just plug the front gear in reverse .that's - to + and + to -at the board
Probably you can reverse using the retract module?
how did you fix this problem? Im having the same problem after replacing my front gear
