I didn't have Big Mac for years, I've lost the taste in this big corporation that make them popular in Europe, now you make me taste to cook Big Mac in my plancha! Great Job!!
That looks delicious! I think what you should do is buy a Big Mac a show it compared to your Big Mac! There’s no comparison! Nicely done Neal! Cheers brother!
"I had to unlock my jaw". LMAO That was one big bite. I have used Thousand Island instead of Dukes for years on my burgers. Fo a extra kick, I slice Jalapenos and lay on top of the cheese. Another good one, Thanks.
How many options do we have with the Flat Top King? I truly believe there is no limit, creative changes to "up the game" of any meal prepared on the griddle, with Amy creating the visual in perfect form. GREAT recipe!! This proves it and these are fun to watch and learn from, always.
@@TheFlatTopKing , ohhh yeh, planning this weekend's fare and the huntin camp menu, all around the griddle. Camp will see breakfast and supper as main meals on the griddle, thanks to your recipes and ideas. Also have to put the Santa hat on and get the woodshop production up, keep busy for sure.
Love your videos. But I stumped on why you clean you grill and push it toward the clean side. Got to try the Russian Dressing. Always just use the 1000 island.
The clean side was cooler and just wanted it off...the grease trap is that way as well so when cleaning afterwards its hard not to have just a clean side thus I typically just clean the whole griddle, I aslo was making a reel for another channel and wanted to start with a clean surface...
I absolutely love Big Macs. I have been wanting to try a copycat version, like for-ever. Now if you could only duplicate their fries. Then this would be awesome to eat while watching the Tennessee versus Alabama game. Playing at Tennessee and Alabama is favored by 8 points. Not exactly sure why, but I remember in 2016 both teams were in the top 10. Jalen Hurts was Alabama's QB and they won 49-10. I think they held Bryce Young out last week so they could play him this week. I will be cheering for your Vols!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
YES SIR.....man what an atmosphere it will be...I will be out of town, but college gameday and sec network will be there...BIG stage for the boys that day...Geaux VOLS
2 all beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles, ONION, on a sesame seed bun!. Nice version with the special sauce adds, but ONIONS (not in the sauce), the way they dice them so small adds more than their size would suggest. Well done!!
I' ve been wanting to do these since we did our quarter pounder with cheese. Maybe soon. I've got some chicken set aside for that grilled cheese one night this week.
I always thought Russian dressing was like Thousand Island, but without the pickles and a bit spicier with horseradish and/or chili sauce. I once had an excellent Crab and Shrimp Louie and asked about the Louie dressing. They were honest and told me they bought Thousand Island dressing from the supplier in big cans and then strained the pickles out of it. Surprisingly good. Flavor, but without the pickle chunks. Some restaurants get lazy and just use Thousand Island. Oh, hell no. Russian, Thousand Island and Louie dressing. Close relatives, but there are some relatives you don’t want at the party.😊 I assisted a chef in Palo Alto, CA when I was 19. He was high strung, but really passionate and good at his trade. He taught me that creativity is good, but there are some protocols that should not be violated…and we had the clientele to prove it. Funny how life’s lessons can be learned when participating in the least likely activities.
Two all beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles, onions, on a sesame-seed bun.... Worked at McDonalds for several years as a teenager... You need to be able to make about 18 of them in 6 minutes! LOL...
Funny story: I’m watching this video as I’m eating and my wife walks in and tells me she wants craving a Big Mac today but didn’t buy it. Then she immediately sees me watching this video and tells me “Great, now I’m being tempted again!” All I can do is laugh. Good job and I never thought to use Russian dressing as a base. Every copycat recipe is different but a lot of them doesn’t include ketchup. I don’t eat McDonalds so I can’t remember but I will definitely try the Russian dressing as a base.
thats funny.....I personally think when you do alot of research on Big Mac sauce and see the actual ingredients its really close to russian dressing...of course is it exact..nope but no one has the exact either. We had one at home to break apart and taste and without the adding 100 ingredients thats the closet we came without the horseradish..thats me right there. I think you will like the russian base....
Yesssir!! That makes the Big Mac look like the Big CHUMP ✊🏼🧐. I gotta try the Russian dressing. Usually I go the ketchup/mayo/relish route. Another SOLID Banger Brotha! That Mammer Jammer is the way it should be done. Cheers Y’all 👊🏼😎🤙🏼
Not yet... This is definitely a hot button topic… And my answer would be that you have to use metal utensils AT YOUR OWN RISK. The actual Pit Boss Ultimate griddle manual says “non-metallic utensils”. I know of a handful of Ultimate griddle owners that have been using metal utensils on their griddles for a while and they’ve said that there hasn’t been any damage… but like I said, you have to use at your own risk - I’m sure that Pit Boss probably won’t replace your griddle top for you if you damage it with metal utensils. Also, there’s a difference in the types of metal spatulas... my preferred spatula has rounded edges and does NOT have the sharp beveled edges all around. That’s the spatula that I like for my other griddles as well. I would never use a square ended, beveled edge spatula on mine. Also, you’ll notice that I still use a wooden scraper/spatula to actually scrape down the griddle surface (NOT a metal bench scraper like I use on my other griddles). So the short answer is use metal at your own risk, and if you decide to use metal on yours, be careful about which metal utensils you’re using and how you use them on the surface.
I’ve never had a big mac but yours looks interesting but to much bread. You are great to watch and looking forward to Amy’s next cooking adventure lol.
hahahhaha Maybe its the brand....but we both agree....side by side..the Russian just takes more like it....but....its not a rule...its just food...so try it out...

Well i am not a fan for sure...I would rather have chicken nuggets...but it wasn't bad when we made it...it just had more of everything and I think that was the key..I wanted to add bacon and jalapeño but she won that round

The sauce isn't anything like french or Russian, its a thousand island sauce. The real sauce is easy, mayo, yellow mustard ketchup relish sugar and white vinegar. Russian or French is no good. Thousand island is closer than either. Please don't use French or Russian
