Wow a nice surprise on some of these, very nice looks on the inside, was not sure what to expect when this started , they really did a great job in the renovations
Yes .. sometimes you gotta look past the outside.. people have been building sweet skoolies inside is awesome.. but they always fall short on the outside.
Thanks for watching and commenting
Man, I'd LOVE to have that last one, the shit I could do with that. I'm really diggin these videos, maybe you could do a WTF RV thing with real shitty RVs, or something with home made rigs or whatever!
Yeah me too.. I did a wtf are rv last week I think it was.. thought I'd play nice tonight 🤣..
I'll do another wtf rv don't worry.
Thanks for watching and commenting
When my wife and I retire, we’ll rent out our house and tour around Australia. Initially I wanted to use an old bus, but I think now the way to go is to buy a box truck. Probably the largest single axle size I could get, maybe with a twin cab setup so there’s a bit more comfort and room inside and just build out a nice simple interior, add solar, ac, and probably add a motorcycle lift so I can bring a bike.
Yes.. we actually did the full-time rv life for a few years it was fun.. and would love to head over in your neck of the woods and maybe the uk ..
Thanks for watching and commenting
I think a lot of these people are destined to be stuck with the creations they built. The point of these is to be able to build something the way you want it on an affordable budget, nobody is gonna spent crazy money on something like this when they can buy a bus and build their own for a third of the price.
I agree with you on that one.
And you're going to have exactly what you want not someone else's ideas.
Thanks for watching and commenting
The last one was the only reasonably priced one, and it had a lot of potential!!
Absolutely.. that was my absolute favorite.
Thanks for watching and commenting
Loove the flames
Thank you
Yessir, I like the RV stuff.
Great... thanks for watching and commenting
I love all the videos you make love the channel it's been keeping me busy while in the hospital thank you.
Thank you.. sorry to hear your in the hospital.. hope you have a speedy recovery.

Really liked the first one. That all white really does make it look so much bigger. Outside color wasn't terrible but it looked as if the roof was painted silver. If so it needs to be white and maybe some white on down to break the wall of that solid color up. To tone it maybe. Noice video. Thanks
Yea I agree.. thanks for watching and commenting as always sir
Digging that last one, back in the 60's my dad built a camper out of a 52 Chevy dump truck chassis. Pretty basic and pretty slow with the ol stovebolt six but, we used it almost every weekend through the summer.
Very cool!
Thanks for watching and commenting on
Great collection
Thank you.. thanks for watching and commenting
I did not know people were doing this I learn something today .
Oh really.. thanks for watching and commenting
Hi there bro. Thank you for another great video. I really liked this one because it is something I’ve always wanted to do. Turn an old bus or van into a camper. Some of those buses I have to admit the exterior looks a little bit shabby but the interior looks absolutely awesome. Another awesome video from you and I thank you so much. I really look forward to the next one. Please take care and blessings to you and your family, from the UK.
Glad you enjoyed it. And I dig the skoolies .
Same to you and yours sir
If I was in the market for an RV and had the room and time to build one out I'd definitely jump on that old Chevy.
Absolutely.. thanks for watching and commenting
That old Chevy bus at the end was nice. Would take a lot to restore but would look beautiful when done. And I'd paint it red and white like the old 50s Bellaire.
That would be cool!.
Think I'd go with something in blue, like powder blue maybe Robin's egg blue.. or maybe a pastel yellow.
Thanks for watching and commenting
You can do a lot with a school bus but it always looks like a school bus!
That '97 International with the DT 466 engine in it was a nice bus. At 6 foot plus I would need that raised roof. I like the decor inside, but that kind of money is what my wife and paid for our first house with 3 bedrooms, two baths, and a two car garage.
I hear ya.. thanks for watching and commenting
Awesome video man! The rv's that you picked are very nice on the inside and would be very nice to take trips in, as I have said before I don't know that much about rv's but they are pretty cool though, 👍👌😁😎👏🤟🤙💯👏✌
Thank you .. thanks for watching and commenting
The last one❤❤❤❤❤
With some efford, work, money and love it will be a super awsome ride❤
Wit hidden modern installations of modern tech like stored plug in solar paneels and wind turbine....and a good woodstove with an external air intake, cooking top, chimney oven, chimney water kettle and integrated water heater piping for the watertank for shower and sink...
A burner toilet.... love the old bus❤
A hellof a project❤
(And yes....building or converting o good bus is very expensive....a good burner toilet for example can cost allone up to 5000euros(like 6000dollars) a stove setup the same...probably more...a good solar, wind hybrid offgrid setup with emergency gas generatot and the abbility to plug it in a normal 110or 220to 240volt electrical system to charge your setup is highly expensive...
All other stuff like tanks, plumbing, waterfilters, interieur and exterieur...sinks...electrikal systems like hidden navi, stereo and probably a sattelite internet accsess for laptop and handy/tablet...propane installations for normal stove and fridge...material like wood,hardware...probably a air condition is costly....so...i think its no problem to build over 100k in material costs in such a vehicle...plus the countless workhours and planning time...i think i dig the pricetags from the sellers...they want to get their rv and material buying costs back at minimum....
Absolutely.. its definitely one that needs saved.
Thanks for watching and commenting
I really enjoyed this video, I agree that some of the paint jobs were meh but wow, those interiors are something else, I'd live full time in one for sure. You used to see that in the UK maybe 40 years ago but not so much nowadays and they were not up to this standard, they were more a mobile tent than a motorhome 🤣
🤣😂.. I'd thought about taking a year and heading over there and live on the long boats in the canals... but 2020 stopped that one... I actually wanted to make a trip to the Uk this year that should've had me there now.. but I ended up breaking my ankle and foot so I'm on the injured list currently. My cousins are currently over there having a good old time.
Something I always wanted to do, was build out a skoolie into a 4x4 off-road camper.
Yes 4x4 skoolie would be awesome.. especially if you like back country camping. Thanks for watching and commenting
There was a guy that came down to the Gulf Coast area that had 2 Streamlines converted and on a one of those flat nose front end bus chassis ( it also had the double axles in rear so not sure the actual model) that the body of the 2 streamlines was mated to the bus chassis. The front of the bus looked like it was made that way stock. it was pretty sick inside. Then this thing was also pulling one of the long Streamline campers behind it. The rear of the back camper had area for a motorcycle. Which that was sick in it self. It was one of those old military ones with a side car. He said this build was a dream of his grandfathers , which had started it a little. He finished it 2 month before his grandfather passed.. So he was going to all the places his grandfather wanted to visit. Him and his wife stayed around and talked to me awhile after i got off work. I would say they was around my age. Way younger that what you see most people who go cross country.
That's a great story.. glad they was able to finish that project. Thanks for watching and commenting
No matter how well they are built, can you imagine the sqeaks and rattels?
Yeah.. if they did it right and did something to insulate properly it wouldn't be bad .. well no more so that a motorhome.
Thanks for watching and commenting
I agree with a lot of the other people comments that if you're going to invest this kind of money into a project like this you better plan on keeping it for a while.😊
Absolutely
Man, you ain't lying when you say that the color is the main issue with a lot of these. Avocado green and white? The hell were they thinking? If you're gonna have green, you gotta go darker with it. With the old one at the end, I'd have to put a newer chassis under it, because trying to find parts for the old one would be ridiculous. The availability and price would kill any budget for anything else. Best of luck to these sellers though, cause the economy is saying no to a lot of the mentioned prices.
Absolutely you would be better off to do a frame swap for sure on the 51.
And yes this economy doesn't have the best support the best chances of them getting close to the asking prices on most of them.
Thanks for watching and commenting
The 97 International intrigued me the most, but I can't exactly state why. Most of them were well done, and I know they have a lot of money tied into them, but I think I'd end up buying a factory built unit for $100K. In any event, thank you as always sir, love the window shopping. ~ Chuck
You know the only real benefit of buying a manufactured motorhome is you get a certified unit that will allow you into any camp ground.. and home build stuff get refused for not having the certification. But rv manufactures have been building garbage.. the bus builds are probably better than a new rv .. thanks for watching and commenting
@@MOTORHEADMISFITS-zk9su I've read the same, anything built in the last 5 years better be examined closely.
Yes.. I got luck on the last new 2023 I bought last year.. so far so good.
@@MOTORHEADMISFITS-zk9su Very cool! Here's to many good years 🍻
Yes sir same too ya!
Just because you spent a lot of money on a conversation dosen't necessarily mean its worth a gold mine , Its still an old bus .
I agree.. some folks get way to deep. And their never gonna recover that money.
Thanks for watching and commenting
Love it...hopeing someone to do this...thankyou....
Thank you for watching and commenting
That bus you don't like the "Decor" of looks like it's right out of a 1980's Pizza Hut! I was looking around for the Galaga Arcade table top and Coke Glasses! ::snorts::
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣... I couldn't place what it reminded me of.. you have hit the nail on the head..
Thanks for watching and commenting
Seem's like your bus is the best.....
Thanks..
Thank you for watching and commenting
6:24 that’s the short bus 😂😂😂
I love the 51. I would have a professional designer do the layout and interior design. Would be money well spent. Sad thing is I have a few years before I retire and start a project
I hear ya.. start planning now.. thanks for watching and commenting
Loved this kinda video, please do a wth of shitty ones.i love you you go off .but these were nice
I will do another wtf rv soon. Glad you like my crazy commentary 😜.
I'm a retired State Correctional Officer Officer. I did a double take on that '84 Bluebird. Looked like an old prison bus 😂 If the undercarriage of that '51 Chevy is good, that would be a steal.
🤣🤣.. yeah that 51 would be cool to save.. I'd actually put a modern frame underneath it personally .. but that would be one cool old bus all done.
Thanks for watching and commenting
It would be fun to see some from crackhead Bob and sawzall Sam.
You're gonna get them too.. just decided to show some coolish stuff.
Thanks for watching and commenting
I like the '51, just need the funds to buy it and build it out.
I hear ya.
Thanks for watching and commenting
I hope someone saves that last one I love old things
Yes absolutely.. it definitely deserves another chance.
Thanks for watching and commenting
Here's a idea but a trailer at Copart use the inside and transplant everything.
The 97 International , I really liked. The price is bit up there though!
Yeah it was cool. Thanks for watching and commenting
Misfits bus is bad ass
Thank you!
Great video. Makes me wonder if some ads aren't riding your coattails hoping their bonkers prices are surely to get the Roastmaster treatment thus garnering more media for them?
I doubt that .. glad you like the video.

Oild baised metal enamel (like Rust-Oleum) can produce decent results from a harbor freight sprayer. It is a bit of work
Personally I prefer ppg shop line.. but I've seen people get decent results with rust-oleum .. im just not a huge fan of that product.
Thanks for watching and commenting
I think that we have found the people they talk about being part of the substance abuse problem in America--- they gotta be high to ask that kind of money for these rigs!
(The last one was priced right.)
I agree the price are definitely on the high side for sure.
Thanks for watching and commenting
Some nice work on most of the interior but dang step up the looks on the outside to
Exactly.. don't leave the outside a mess.
Thanks for watching and commenting
Some of the prices are reasonable other times not in reach for everyone depending on the buyer seller
I hear ya.
Thanks for watching and commenting
1) this one is nice.
2) If the only bad thing you can say about it is that it needs to be repainted, it can't be that bad.
3) needs some work, but it is doable.
4) I can't argue considering what it cost brand new plus the conversion.
5) It is also nice.
6) Same as 5.
7) At the price you are paying for the woodwork, the bus is almost free. A fully restored frame-off Woddy would cost you six-figures. Okay, it does need to be painted
8) I agree, I don't like a lot of what is in it. there are too many different clashing themes in it.
9) The Woodwork plus the Vehicle for cheap, the price is not that bad.
10) With the roof extension and then probably doing some rewiring including the conversion, yes this is cheap.
11) How can someone talk bad about a vehicle when the worse thing you can say about them is that they need a paint job?
12) It is a good starter platform, but it is too expensive. You would have to go through it and get it back on the road before you start a RV conversion.
Another great comment.. thanks for watching and commenting
Implant paint will take care of that orange bus
Yes it would.
Thanks for watching and commenting
Here is my take on price when it comes to stuff like this. You have to search everything in that price range and get the best bang for your buck. Function is the main consideration on a motor home
Yes.. thanks for watching and commenting
3:10, the big issue with this bus here, it’s a gas engine, not a diesel.
8:10, I think they may have used a lot of reclaimed materials in this build.
I would agree, some of the prices are ridiculous.
I hear ya.. thanks for watching and commenting
Last one needs saving fo sure keeping the patina with a Cummins ❤nice wood burner insulated to Alaskan standard’s residential a/c and inflatable furniture and beds👌 if that lime green god awful thing was painted black, and half it’s price I’d be interested 🤮🤮🤢
I hear ya.. thanks for watching and commenting
It's nice but $40, nice.
Yeah.. a little pricey for sure.. thanks for watching and commenting
I've Never took one of those before
Yeah the rv vids were kool, but can you make a WTF Skoolie vids🤣🤣🙁
I'll see what I can do!
They’re all five to $10,000 buses with fancy conversions in them but that means homemade conversions. You don’t really get your money back for that maybe a little extra 25,000 at best for any of them.
Yeah its kind of a gamble.. thanks for watching and commenting
Buzz words are cute but all the Indians and Wagon Train people were 'Totally Off Grid.'
Yes
Make sure you use shower shoes.😅
Always! 🤣🤣
Thanks for watching and commenting
Just Sub to your site 👍Few nice ones there for sure ! Lots of time and money ! The price I’m asking now seems very reasonable on my Conversion
1993 Thomas 40’ Pusher 🎉8.3 Cummins/Allison with 24” roof lift and 2 - 9’ slide outs . @ $26 thousand. David Thomas
Oliver BC .
Thanks for the sub!
Sounds like a nice bus.. thanks for watching and commenting
This was a pretty good selection here.
I hate to say it but.......
I kind of miss crack head Bob
I know.. don't worry they'll be back very soon
Okay, so here`s what we do;
We get a buncha yellow paint, then we buy the longest bus.
...Then we get a SawsAll!
(Can you say; SHORT BUSES?)
We sell them all & then live in a REAL house!
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Dig The Old GMC Rv Buses The Third Green One $15k Was Nice Inside & Last Bus In Video 51 Chevy $2500 Me What A Deal For Someone
Yes.. it would be a great project.
Thanks for watching and commenting
I would put a big down payment on a house for them crazy prices 😅
I hear that.. thanks for watching and commenting
$40,000. ? Not even close. $400. more like it !!!
I heard that.
Thanks for watching and commenting
I`m looking for a van, down by the river!
We are all gonna be doing that soon!
0:28 the paint on the tires if they couldn't mask off the tires properly I wouldn't trust the rest of the work
🤣... hey some people don't care about masking off the wheels and tires.. heck some body shops don't.
I personally cover stuff like that but I'm picky.
Thanks for watching and commenting
Or I could just live at an underpass in Southern California for FREE!
🤣🤣🤣.. yeah but then you have to smell funny
I like to kemper conversion, but that. Much
Yeah a little pricey for sure.
Thanks for watching and commenting
Cool video, you talked me into sub
Thanks for the sub.. and thank you for watching and commenting
where can i find the ad for the last one (the chevy gmc) ??? im interested !😃👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
It's in Utah.. here is the link
facebook.com/share/stdJNbC3M7kELwiB/?mibextid=kL3p88
Hope you can work it all out and get that cool bus.. thanks for watching and commenting
Give me a million, and its yours, but i don't want to sell it
🤣🤣.. ok!
Thanks for watching and commenting
Good price
On one of them or all?
Thanks for watching and commenting
Dam ,my 04 32ft bounder with 30k miles is worth a hundred bazillion dollars
🤣🤣🤣🤣.. yeah that's what I said about my old bounder.. mine was older than yours a 96. But man loved that thing. Hated to get rid of it when I did.. but switched to a 5th wheel. Thanks for watching and commenting
@@MOTORHEADMISFITS-zk9su my 04 is my 4th class a,,first was 22ft Winnebago brave,,I looked at over 30 rigs before this 04,,it probably the height of motorhome value and reliability,,the brave was a damn good motorhome too,,had a 96 255ft Georgie boy and a 87 or 88 29ftbounder, they were both good too,,u gota look look untill u get what's right,,,had 92 samurai,,looked at 34 before i bought it,,it was amazing ,,my tow for all 4 coaches
Yeah we have had many rv's over the year's.. last year I bought a new 2023 17ft bushwhacker plus to pull behind my gladiator to jeep events.
Cool little light weight rig.. way easier than taking the 5th wheel into some of those places
@@MOTORHEADMISFITS-zk9su when I'm done with my bounder I'm going small tow travel trailer
I hear that.. I wish I would have went a little larger on the small camper but it works out ok. It's got everything you need like shower potty and queen bed , but it is a little tight for two people
You just can’t get out what you paid to create. Especially if you didn’t do it yourself
That's true in most cases..
Thanks for watching and commenting
The toilets need seat belts. I don’t care how you dress it up they smell each others farts.
🤣🤣.. nice!
Thanks for watching and commenting
What year is it
Mine was a 04 but technically it was a late 03 cab and chassis but because of the bus shell it was sold as a 04. But good thing was it got 7.3.. not 6.0 junk.
Thanks for watching and commenting
2024 ;)
There's no such thing as a schoolie worth over 25k
Some folks would disagree.. thanks for watching and commenting
Might as well buy a real RV for the prices these people want....last one would make a great rat rod
Yes and no.. some of the diy are better built than a new rv. Thanks for watching and commenting
These are definitely a to c tier.
Thanks for watching and commenting
