Pete's Superbike shipped a set of these tire to me in Pennsylvania and I've been riding them all winter. They are awesome, and Pete's Superbike has great customer service.
@@MAC_V4_2K to be honest i buy anlas tires from here because they are produced in turkey. unfortunately i don't have information on where they are sold abroad
You managed to wheelie with these tires?! That's insanely impressive grip given the weather. Looks like these tires are well worth the investment. Excellent review Pete.
I bought a set of 28" 38 mm width bicycle tires from same brand. Next week, i will install them. I could dozens of videos about Anlas motorcycle tires, especially winter ones but couldn't find any videos of bicycle tires from same brand. Motorcycle tires of this brand are well known around the world but bicycle tires are not so known in anywhere, including my country where Anlas originates from and produces its tires.
I have pilot roads in my bikes, but you can't take those tires out to ride on icy roads. How you want to compare them, is like comparing a Goldwing to a enduro bike for off road riding.
Yes we still carry them, you have to click on the size you need then youll see a 2 line form, just fill that out and someone will repley to you with a price :)
If you're going to measure the tires before the ride.. You should measure the tires AFTER the ride too. Otherwise what's the point in taking those measurements.
they're same tyres. winter grip 2's are only available for scooters/maxi scooters and commuters, only radial options are for Tmax kind of scoots. winter grip plus is all radial and for big bikes :)
as you can see from the tread, it is a cold weather dry-wet surface tyre. doesnt have big teeth or something. expecting this kind of tire to clear snow is just not logical.
I used the studded version of this all winter this year, in Norway, on roads with both Ice and Snow, low speed and lower air pressure in the tires and it did what it supposed to do at least down to -15 C. I cant talk about temperatures lower than that, and it had problems in +10 cm snow with "normal" air pressure in the tires.

Good to see someone actually trying the tyres instead of just talking about them, cheers
i'm using anlas winter grip on both of my bikes (ktm duke 250 and honda nc 750x) and i'm super happy with them. it never let me down
Where do you buy these? Pete's superbike store is like 1 hour away from my place and they don't have them anymore on their site.

Just ordered a set for my Multistrada. can't wait to try them out! Thanks, Pete
Vertical video should be considered a crime against humanity ;)
Next time, while filming, please turn the phone 90° .
Right, it's called Portrait mode for a reason. Landscape is the way!
If you watch from PC, vice versa

This brand (anlas) is amazing. Specially winter type tires are wondefull. İ prefer to all drivers.
Thanks for the review. Very interesting. Subscribed.
Could I use these all year round
don't forget to call your insurance and get the winter tire discount! :D
How does it compare to a decent wet weather tyre like the Michelin Pilot Road 4 or Metzeler Roadtec 01s?
I would say it depends on the temperature, if its cold this tire would be better, a pr4 in the col or anyother tire will not stick like this one.

just looked on website and there are no prices, are you still carrying these tires?

Not often we see a shop owner put their hide on the line to test winter tires especially for bikes!
Fascinating. Have you had any interaction with the cops yet?
Actually twice, i went up to them:)
Sneeeaky! Doesn't look like they make them for the Africa Twin :(

slappy76 good point man. :) mainly i wanted to know how cold the asphalt was.
These tires are the WINTER GRIP PLUS... NOT the wintergrip 2. Fix your title bub.
Thx its corrected.
@@Petes.Superbike Wonderful response time mate. Hope things keep moving forward for ya!

so then, no better than michelin road 5, i guess.
Turn the engine off too ... when talking .
Wow I can't say much for your choice of suit ...... Ha .
No thanks !
Can’t hear what you say above the noise of the bike. Very amateur 😢
it is for clear road only! Not for snow! i have it. It is not winter tire! It is bullshit!
