@@annahoffmaster4737 Yea so did Todd White, he said he found Spurgeon and realized he wasn't preaching the whole gospel. @@firingallcylinders2949 Most definitely people will fall away from that false gospel preacher. If someone like Olsreen would repent, he would end up claiming bankruptcy and many will walk away, I believe. How God handles it is not my call. It is horrible that people want to deny the Deity of the Son of God. All we can do is pray for them to repent and turn to God with a renewed heart. Sorry for being so lengthy on my reply.
Maria Love, Jesus says everyone who does not believe He is I AM will die in their sins, John 8:24. Our Heavenly Father was incarnate in Christ, reconciling the world to Himself, so everyone who says Jesus Christ is not Almighty God is saying Father YHVH is not Almighty God, because Jesus is the visible image of the invisible YHVH, Colossians 1:15. “Without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: THAT GOD WAS MANIFEST IN THE FLESH, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory”, 1 Timothy 3:16. This is a salvation issue, because all who die in their sins go to Hell for eternity. If Jesus was not God, He couldn’t have been sinless, because only God has no sin, and He couldn’t have raised people from the dead, forgiven sins, and the many other miracles He did, including raising Himself from the dead.
Yes, this is the Salvation issue. If Jesus was God, 1. how could the Holy God bear sins? 2. how could the Living God die? Jesus is the Lamb of God. How could His Lamb be God Himself? Jesus is the Son of God, The God Almighty is his Father. Jesus is the only tabernacle of the Almighty God. The image of God is not God Himself. For there is one God, and one mediator also between God and men, the man Christ Jesus (1Timothy 2:5). ... Jesus the Nazarene, a man attested to you by God with miracles and wonders and signs which God performed through him in your midst, just as you yourselves know (Act 2:22b). When all things are subjected to him, then the Son himself also will be subjected to the One who subjected all things to him, so that God may be all in all (1Corinthians 15:28).

MazBringsby Lol maybe he is offended because it’s not a real evangelical that would think in such a way and I know you are grouping yourself as something different like a reformed believer. I’ve been really studying things a while now and love the teaching here. People label themselves in the Christian world as this and that and some don’t like anyone but ones in their circle. I have been at a Baptist church ever since I got saved 17 years ago and originally was at a charismatic church. Didn’t learn anything there as they seem to focus on worship and I was a brand new believer so I left there and went to a local Baptist church that teaches way of an expositor which I loved from the beginning. Found myself at a conference early on and a nice preacher smiled at me before going to the pulpit and come to find out it was John MacArthur. His message was on eternal security and I was blown away at his style of teaching and bought myself a study Bible of his. Always listened and studied while being at an evangelical so called church I guess you would say. Idk why but recently have found the teaching of R.C. and I can’t get enough. I am intrigued with the sovereignty of God in a profound way more than ever and have ordered the reformed study Bible to dive in to. I come home after work and can’t even find anything on tv that interests me so I always seem to find myself drawn to Ligonier on UA-cam or the app or what have you. At this point I don’t see how to fully understand election to the degree some explain it, I just know God is sovereign and I’m not that I’ve chosen Him but He has chosen me and it gives me so much assurance I will be kept to the end even with all my failings as a follower of Christ. I almost think the sovereignty of God seems to be somewhat a mystery and hard to explain like The Trinity. I aim to follow Jesus closer than ever with all my being and want all of God I can in my life. I say all this because I’m excited, sorry if you didn’t want all this info. I just can’t fathom a real evangelical saying such things of stupidity about Christ. This topic here is essential on how one views our Lord. How can people be so uninformed ?

Is it possible that the survey somehow included some Mormons and Jehovah’s Witnesses who would affirm the “target” questions but not affirm Christ’s deity?
Not really, Mormons and Jehovah's witnesses do not believe in the absolute authority and sufficiency of Scripture, as you probably know they have their own false prophets, also they do not believe in the wrath of God and eternal Hell and therefore do no not see a real need for Jesus dying as substitute on the cross for His people (PENAL SUBSTITUTIONARY ATONEMENT), and that He is the only way for salvation, they affirm more like grace/works combined system of salvation, similar to Roman Catholicism, Eastern Orthodoxy etc, so I guess if the survey was done right, Mormons and Jehovah's witnesses should have been clearly dismissed as heretics on all different Biblical grounds
@@carolberubee I don't agree, they could affirm the second one (ofcourse for the wrong reasons) and maybe the fourth one, although they'll distort and redefine it and add their prophet as mediator into it. The first question that the guy on the video mentioned on how they determine who is evangelical is about the authority and sufficiency of the Scripture, the second is about the necessity of evangelism, the third is about who Christ is and His atoning death on the cross and the forth is about the exclusivity of Christ. If you had even basic knowledge of their religions you should have known well that they clearly contradict at least two of these
The Bible is clear. Jesus Christ is God. He is the visible incarnation of God the Father. He is fully God the creator and fully man. He is our atonement for sin. Only God is salvation. Jesus Christ our Lord God and savior reigns forever and ever

Together they make up the building. Together they make up the ekklesia or the assembly. Matthew 16:18 I build it on a foundation ... built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief cornerstone, in whom the whole building, being fitted together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord; in whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit. 1Then I saw “a new heaven and a new earth,” a for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. 2 I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. 3And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! There will be no more death’ b or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away. You see how god says his bride is the new Jerusalem And in rev 21:9 it says 9One of the seven angels who had the seven bowls full of the seven last plagues came and said to me, “Come, I will show you the bride, the wife of the Lamb.” 10And he carried me away in the Spirit to a mountain great and high, and showed me the Holy City, Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God. 11It shone with the glory of God, and its brilliance was like that of a very precious jewel, like a jasper, clear as crystal. 12It had a great, high wall with twelve gates, and with twelve angels at the gates. On the gates were written the names of the twelve tribes of Israel. 13There were three gates on the east, three on the north, three on the south and three on the west. 14The wall of the city had twelve foundations, and on them were the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb. You see how the 12 tribes are the bride of Jesus and in Rev 21:22-23 I did not see a temple in the city, because the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple. 23The city does not need the sun or the moon to shine on it, for the glory of God gives it light, and the Lamb is its lamp. This is how god and Jesus work hand and hand amen my brother believe now
Stephen has his opening patter down perfectly.... and on the surface it seems to make sense. Unfortunately he also denies the very person of Christ - the man Christ Jesus - Who did the very work of salvation he references - due to his adherence to the hypostatic Union. Understood correctly, the hypostatic Union denies the man Christ Jesus. Those of you generally interested in the doctrine of the hypostatic Union need to study its core sub-doctrine - the anhypostasis of the human nature. The anhypostasis is the foundation of FORMALLY DENIES the very human person of Jesus - that is, the man Christ Jesus and substitutes an impersonal human nature (which is actuated by a deity). This of course is blasphemy and heresy and denies the only Lord and master who bought us. This is actually what Stephen believes - Stephen denies the only Lord and master who bought us.

Jesus is not God. Jesus is the son of God not God the son. God cannot look upon sin, but Jesus did; God cannot die, Jesus died; only God knows the hour upon which Jesus will be sent back; God is all knowing, Jesus is not. If Jesus was God then why did he need to be baptised and receive Gods Holy Spirit? When studying The Bible it is important to look at the original meaning of the words and what they meant culturally as well as their meanings and significance. The Bible is completely clear about this, there is only one God. This is a message reiterated time and time again throughout The Bible and by Jesus himself. The whole concept of there being 3 in 1 was argued over and finally settled at the first council of Nicaea. There was never any reference then, nor is there today, in The Bible or other originating documentation prior to this time about there being a trinity. It was applied by men as part of a means to settle an argument and ultimately was a compromise that has completely distorted the proper and true teachings of Christ and The Bible. Along with some other incorrect doctrine that contradict other teachings that council also laid the foundations for other untruths that have profited the churches exponentially over the millennia to the detriment of the people who have been falsely taught by them. 1 Timothy 2:5 ESV For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.

Define real Jesus for people if you are going to make the statement and if you truly care about people's salvation. The real Jesus is not the Jesus of "Churchianity." The real Jesus is the Jesus of the Bible which is the Jesus Paul teaches us about. Salvation during this Age of Grace comes by believing Paul's Gospel only, and none other than Paul's Gospel. Where Peter, James, and John agree with Paul, it's for us. Where they don't agree, it's because they were writing to Jews. I don’t know, the wording of that question may have tripped up a few people, who, like me, tend to overthink true/false or multiple choice questions. If the question asked people to affirm that Jesus was not divine, then that might give a clearer answer or help people understand what exactly they were asking. As a few others have commented, I could see how someone who affirmed the four “evangelical” statements might get tripped up by wondering if the way the question was phrased was intended to ask about the trinity and whether Jesus was one with “God the father” vs Jesus’s divine nature himself. I agree that Christian education is the way to unpack these topics and help uncover if there are gaps in understanding, but let’s also not freak out as those taking the survey may have misunderstood the meaning of the question, especially as it can be hard to wrap your head around the trinity as a limited, temporal human as we all are.
How can someone in the right mind believe that Jesus died for our sin and that eternal life is obtained exlusively through Christ and yet say he was not devine ? That doesn't make sense
He is my lord and savior having all authority from God the father. He is my intercessor, my mediator and my eternal high priest at the right hand of the father. He is lord of lords and king of kings and I will gladly serve him.
@Paul Oluwamayowa The apostles call Yahweh the God and Father of our lord Jesus Christ. If Jesus HAS a God, then he cannot be that same God. You are right, Jesus can be considered Devine, but only because God exalted him that high. Jesus stayed that all authority in heaven and on earth had been given to him. Peter said in Acts 2:36 that God made Jesus lord and Christ. If God had not given him all authority, he wouldn’t have had all authority. If God had not made him lord and Christ, he would not be lord and Christ. Thank you brother
YHWH Himself tells Moses about the coming Messiah: *_"I will raise up for them a prophet like you from among their fellow Israelites, and I will put my words in his mouth. He will tell them everything I command him."_* Deuteronomy 18:18. Peter confirms Jesus is the fulfillment of this prophecy in Acts 3:22-26; Acts 7:37. Now examine the text: 1. No, he was a god with a lowercase "g" which means he was an anointed representative and ruler of the people of Israel. He was God's shaliach (agent). To disobey Moses was considered disobeying God Himself....yet Moses was not God.....he was a god. 3. from among their fellow Israelites. (Jesus would be a human being....an Israelite). 4. and I will put my words in his mouth. (note: God does not say His word will become Jesus). Jesus said he speaks his Father's words. John 7:15; John 14:10; John 14:24; John 12:49-50; John 17:14; Jesus said his teaching is from his Father. John 7:15; John 12:49-50 Jesus said his Father told him what to speak. John 12:49-50 Jesus said: "I am a man who has told you the truth I heard from God." John 8:40 5. He will tell them everything I command him. (See above scriptures). NOWHERE in the NT is there any doctrine that informs us that we must believe Jesus is God (YHWH) in order to be saved. The true Gospel of this present Age is Paul's Gospel: 1 Corinthians 15:1-4; Romans 10:9-10; Ephesians 2:8-9. Now someone please show me where Paul says we must believe Jesus is God (YHWH) in order to be saved? God is not a man. Numbers 23:19 God alone is immortal. 1 Timothy 6:16 Jesus died for our sins. God did not die for your sins. You have to think more highly of yourself than the Devil to believe God would die for your sins.
I read your thoughts and supporting scriptures and my soul rejoices!!! It’s so important to understand that Jesus is the Christ (anointed) man approved of God. How can God raise himself from the dead and say, this is my beloved Son, this day have I begotten thee!!! What Jesus has done has opened the door for mankind to do the same... God (YHWH), the Eternal One, is Spirit... in order to understand God we must understand his Word (God’s Word is Spirit) and when it is received, believed, understood and executed, then that receiver becomes enlightened or a Light. Jesus is the first to do this! I can go on and on... God Bless! Please contact me if you like...
If you read the Bible you will definitely see Jesus is the Son of God. He is the One who healed people and forgave the sins of people and raised the dead. He is coming back and every eye will see Him. Get ready now!❤️
Just some questions with Scripture, that may help someone. May God speak through His Word to any willing hearts. Who is ‘the only true God’ Jesus is speaking of...? John 17:3 - “This is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.” Who was Jesus crying out to? Mark 15:34 - “At the ninth hour Jesus cried out with a loud voice, “ELOI, ELOI, LAMA SABACHTHANI?” which is translated, “MY GOD, MY GOD, WHY HAVE YOU FORSAKEN ME?”” Who is Christ handing the Kingdom over to...himself? 1 Corinthians 15:23-24 - “But each in his own order: Christ the first fruits, after that those who are Christ’s at His coming, then comes the end, when He hands over the kingdom to the God and Father, when He has abolished all rule and all authority and power.” And in this verse, who is the Son subjected to...himself? 1 Corinthians 15:28 - “And when all are made subject to Him, then the Son Himself shall also be subject to Him who put all under Him, in order that God be all in all.” Jesus was and is the firstborn of ALL creation! He operated (as a man) in the FULL authority of the Father, while dwelling among men. Matthew 28:18 - “And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.” ‘Has been GIVEN to me’...which begs a very logical / fundamental question...From who!?!
Greg Logan I’m not familiar with anhypostasis. Can you provide Scripture(s), and I’ll definitely look into / pray about it. I apologize, I’m not familiar with the FB group podcast you mentioned.
I was such a doubting Thomas. Skeptical atheist scientist. I thank God for revealing Himself and His Son and His Spirit. I know I did nothing to deserve it.

My goodness, I guess these people are not very good reading their bibles, the 1st chapter of the gospel of John 1 reveals the divinity of Christ. God the Father declared Jesus as his son in the gospels. Jesus said, “Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I am.”
Absolutely tragic data. Shame on us for not setting our own house in order. Is it any wonder that our society is careening down the broad road to Hell?

Greg Logan yea...I dont get into all that "mumbo jumbo" Col 2:8: See to it that no one takes you captive by philosophy and empty deceit, according to human tradition, according to the elemental spirits of the world, and not according to Christ. I just read the Bible... All over the Bible it says Jesus is Man, also says Jesus is God.... we know you cannot diminish God...and plus Jn 1:14 in the greek it explains well that the Word, who is God, "tabernacled" put on a tent of flesh.... does this remove from his divinity or some how change it? God doesnt change...so I guess were stuck w the richer meaning of the greek in Jn 1:14 where He tabernacled among us....
1. Justification: Our minds have been persuaded to "think it is true" that the God, the Father raised his Son from the dead, who died for our offences. (Romans 4:24-25) "No Act yet" 2. "Knowing" how the justification is related to the Salvation: The justification brings the access to the grace. Under this grace, we will be saved to the eternal life. (Romans 5) "No Act yet" 3. Sanctification = Baptism in the name of Jesus Christ = Born again = need to die first in order to serve God through our hearts: Being dead in the body of the flesh and being set apart from the thoughts of the world, "Renew our mind" to live under Jesus' command "Love your fellow believers" in order to serve the Will of God. (Romans 6) "No Act yet" "Just Knowing and Reckoning" 4. If our own minds are dead, the mind of Jesus (or our knowledge of Jesus) will "live" and "move" our dead bodies to love our enemies in order to spotlight (to glorify) the Loving God. Because God first has loved us who were His enemies (sinners). 5. Amen "The Grace from God, the Father Only" in other words "To be called by God through Jesus Christ Only"
Seems there's pretty much unanimity on this board about this subject, so I guess I can be the odd ball out and the resident heretic. Per my experience in having talked with many evangelicals about this subject, I haven't found 1 in 10 - emphasis on "haven't" found even 1 in 10 - that can carry a conversation about these subjects beyond 5 minutes, specifically discussions about Jesus's "divinity", the Trinity, questions about Modalism (which I see represented on this comment board and which is, itself, a heresy per the church), and the history of Christian theology around these subjects. Further, I would bet money that 8 out of 10 evangelicals run afoul of Christianity's technical definition of "heresy" on this subject. I've personally run into all kinds of crazy ideas when you actually probe and ask questions to people about what they believe, but what I mostly run up against is evangelicals who don't have a clue about what they really believe and couldn't defend it if they tried. It's mostly warm fuzzies and strong opinions - "Jesus is God"... but that's about as far as it gets. As soon as you say "But what about....this or that?" that's the end of the conversation. A minute into the discussion they're inevitably already pulling the "mystery" card... i.e. If a point is made that challenges opinions or exposes the lack of effort at looking at this subject from multiple vantage points, then the fall-back is "I can't explain it, but I know it's true. It's a mystery". And ask them about Arius and Athanasius, and most will say "Who?" Ask them about the creeds, and they say "I don't need to bother my head with that." Here's how I would answer that survey: Q: "Is Jesus a great teacher but not God: Yes / No." A: I would look for another option... it's a bad question. Jesus was a great teacher. Sure. But he wasn't presented as a teacher. He taught, to be sure, but he's presented as the Anointed One of God. How about: - Jesus is Messiah, King of Israel, future ruler of the world who will sit on the throne of his father David, righteous Redeemer from sin, resurrected from the dead and standing at the right hand of God and ready to return to judge the world? I would answer "Yes" to that. He's presented as Messiah, a Jewish concept from a Jewish world and worldview. He's the promised offspring mentioned in the covenant to David. - Is Jesus "God"? I think the Bible says he's not God. He's called the "Son of God". That prepositional phrase would indicate that he's someone in relation to God. I think there are plenty of places that indicate this quite clearly. I think, on the whole, if you believe Jesus is God you have a serious problem with equivocation on terms (logical fallacy) throughout the New Testament. Numerous places where Jesus is clearly being distinguished from "God" or speaks of "God" and clearly isn't referring to himself. Christianity tends to dub these as "he was in his human nature at that time". That's the theological anwer, but there is little evidence that this dual nature thing was believed to any great extent prior to 451. Just for starters... that's not a comprehensive argument, but that type of example is pretty frequent in the NT. So alternatively, the survey may reveal that 30% of evangelicals are actually those people who truly study their Bibles and ask hard questions... and don't just swallow historical theology. Or at least some of that 30% do this. Maybe it's the 70% who are "going along with the crowd". I haven't been convinced of the biblical studiousness of the 70%, I can tell you... or theological studiousness or historical studiousness. "Broad is the way" that leads to biblical illiteracy. One of my favorite questions to ask people is "how many books have you read on this subject from a different perspective than the one you've always held?" The answer is always (and I've never met anyone that would change that "always" to a "mostly"): "None". If I were to ask "how many books have ready on the subject from the perspective you currently hold", I would say the answer would probably also be "none". Generally speaking, evangelicals are born believing it, they never challenge it, they never understand it, and very few can defend it with any level of intelligence or even explain it without quickly resorting to unbiblical ideas like "mystery" (and the Bible never says God's identity is a mystery). And yet - "it's true and you're going to hell if you don't affirm it". Color me jaded.... and unconcerned about being labeled a heretic by this same crowd. Being a heretic is one thing and a thing to be avoided. Being called a heretic by someone that doesn't know Constantinople from Chalcedon? Not so worried about that... or about surveys with imprecise questions
@Angel Love I take his 30% figure to be based on the survey alone, not on the percentage of unitarians. And just for the record, the term "unitarian" is perfectly vague. There is a denomination called the "Unitarian Universalists" which would not describe the many people who simply object to the doctrines of the Trinity and Incarnation. Jews and Muslims are unitarian, but are not Unitarian Universalists or "cult members" (unless one's label wants to be particularly broad).

@Angel Love No, I think you still miss the point. I would hopefully be on Jesus's side if I were living in his time and encountered Him. Hard to say... he was offensive... and the majority of the "religious" went with the consensus opinion opposing Him. My point, however, is this: *Both* sides, in 1st century Israel - both the side of those that opposed Him *and* the side of His disciples (*and* the side of His own understanding of Himself) - *all* sides thought of Him as not being God. I don't think He thought He was God; I don't think His disciples thought He was God; and I don't think His enemies thought He was God. He claimed to be Messiah (that is: personally chosen by God) and He claimed to uniquely represent God. That was enough (more than enough) for His enemies to want to kill Him. People are killed everyday in our world for far less offense than claiming to be God. It doesn't make much for jealous people to want to kill other people.
Wow this is so so so sad ! America has been leaving God and they don’t want to believe that there is a judgement appointed for this nation if they don’t repent and turn to Jesus the Lord!
They don't deny he is divine. Like Paul, Mark, Luke and Matt, they don't think Jesus a pre-existing god. He became a god depending on the writer and date. Paul, writing first, says "god 'raised' him from death to divinity". Mark says it was at baptism. Luke and Matt say birth and only John says he has always existed.
@Anna Hoffmaster The book of revelation starts out in verse 1 with proving Jesus isn’t all knowing. It’s the revelation that God gave to him in verse 1:1. Then in chapter 3 verse 12, Jesus calls our God his own God 4 times in one verse. How can Jesus not be all knowing, and have a God, and yet still be God?
@@Josiah_Wright christ is devine and god but has a god himself (the father) . god reconciliated the world to himself through christ. since christ ascended to heaven salvation can only be found in him and through christ you can worship god in spirit and in truth. simple. jesus is devine and has a god .
Sad to say that the more I learn about Christianity the less of a “Christian” I discover that I am. I walked here on my own, willingly, and I don’t need a man to speak to God for me or interpret what God has shown me to place me on the field. If belief is all that is needed then I mourn my ancestors that were thousands of miles away and centuries from hearing the message when that moment kicked off. Guess I’m a heretic.
Confusing when people are given greasy grace, called “Born Again “, when they reject the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The most likely believe Jesus was a great example for pleasing God Almighty to model acceptable behavior modification, not repentance.
Can I simply enjoy God's grace and His abundant gifts without grappling with definitions like this? Yes, I can. And I do. I cannot fathom God. My head isn't equipped to do that. Jesus Christ is my Savior. His sacrifice - of which I am not worthy (by a long shot) - has washed me clean. Do I understand even HOW that works? No, I don't. I just know that it does. How many people know how an internal combustion engine works? Or even a computer for that matter? Some do. I am not one of them. Can I still appreciate using either device? You bet. I suppose if you are going to have a flock you have to define and have understanding enough to explain. But no one can tell me who God is. Besides the Creator. But that is what He did. Can anyone tell me how? Or maybe even why? Or what else He may have done besides create this world and us? Is Jesus God? I always thought Jesus sat at God's right hand. You see? How can those two things be true? I think of God and Jesus as separate. But do I KNOW? No, I do not. If a person believes Jesus is God, that is fine with me. If a person thinks Jesus is not God, that is also fine with me. Does it matter? It does to these folks, I guess. Will I be deprived of a place in Heaven if I do not choose one view or the other? Lord, I hope not because I just don't know. . Everyone wants to be right. I just want to be saved from damnation.. My faith tells me I am. The scholars argue while I just find my peace within the forgiveness of Jesus Christ. Did God create us to argue over Him for all our lives? It would appear many think so.
"Therefore I said to you that you will die in your sins; for unless you believe that I am He, you will die in your sins." John 8:24 // These people are not truly saved.
In John 8:24 "I am he" refers to the Messiah and Son of God that Jesus claimed to be. Go back at least to chapter 6 for the context of the statement. If you are going to claim every "I am" statement means Jesus is God, as some Trinitarians falsely claim, then you end up making a mess of the scriptures. In John 8:58 the KJV translators erred in changing the common Greek expression "ego eimi" into a proper noun by translating it as "I AM" in all uppercase letters. This is truly deceptive. "ego eimi" is never used as a name for YHWH. In Exodus 3:14 we see the expression "ego eimi ho on" which actually translates "I will be who I will be." It's not the same phrase as we find in John 8:58. So nice try.

It does not matter what evangelical or fundamentalist doctrine anyone holds to-I don't care even if they call themselves Calvinists-if they deny the full deity and humanity of Christ, they are damned unless and until they repent.
I agree with you but did you automatically know Christology right after your new birth? I did not, but as I studied the Scriptures I understood. Infancy should not damn but outright denial of the deity of Christ with knowledge deserves damnation
@@carlosmolina7330 Thanks, that is a good clarification. I will change my original comment to "deny" instead of "affirms not." That's what I meant, anyway.
If the 30% haven't remained anonymous, you could send them material on the Doctrine of the Trinity. If they have, perhaps next survey you could reach out to them. I know the percentage symbolizes evangelicals as a whole, but we have to start somewhere.
@Angel Love even unitarians dont believe that jesus is only a man and a good teacher... they believe he is the only way to god and the source of salvation for all humanity... this survey is rubbish... basically they gave 2 options to peoples: either jesus is equal to the father or he is only a prophet. both are false...
Unfortunately, my concern is not that 30% of evangelicals deny the divinity of Christ, rather that 30% of professing evangelicals are lost and not at all part of the kingdom, by choice. We see that the world’s view of God’s truths is foolishness as the Bible proclaimed and this perception of God’s ways as foolishness is manifesting itself in the church.
what? everyone knows that is a true Born Again believer that Jesus is GOD IN FLESH!!!! Duh. you are not a chris follower if you do not believe that point blank.
The bible requires fathers to teach their children and they dont because the majority dont know enough to teach. So they turn their children over to childrens church (not biblical) and youth group (not biblical). Our children get 15,000 hours of secular indoctrination in schools and many more from Hollywood. One survey said 94% of high school graduates when asked if Jesus was the only way said NO. That means 94%+ are on their way to hell. What are pastors doing? Preaching how to get your best life now and watering down the Gospel. God is judging America (Romans 1). If repentance doesnt come soon, HELL will.
So we basically have around 30% false converts. Seems a little to much to account them as "confused" or "still learing". I am inclined to blame the easy beliverism of the church that is focused on numbers rather than truly saving souls.
I spent the first 18 years of my life in the Methodist denomination. Only on e did I hear from the pulpit that Jesus was God, and this from a visiting preacher. I thought that preacher was crazy. At age 18 I converted to Catholicism where the divinity of Christ is emphasized.
tell us what's the first name of John? Where is his birth town? His family?..Bible historians will tell that Mark luke John..r unknown anonymous persons. If that was a hadith it would be classified as weak hadith, the bible has been falsified filled with forged verses every honest biblical historian even "christianss tell us that, Jesus peace be upon Him did never claim to be God or that god got killed & is formed of 3 persons & & &..
@Angel Love So if trump told u that the holy spirit told him that injecting disinfectants into your veins would cure u from covid u would believe him? For his first "proof" did u forget these verses: 5)Judges 13:20-22: "For it came to pass, when the flame went up toward heaven from off the altar, that the angel of the LORD ascended in the flame of the altar. And Manoah and his wife looked on [it], and fell on their faces to the ground. But the angel of the LORD did no more appear to Manoah and to his wife. Then Manoah knew that he [was] an angel of the LORD. And Manoah said unto his wife, We shall surely die, because we have seen God." John 1:18 "No man hath seen God at any time," 1 John 4:12 "And the Father himself, which hath sent me, hath borne witness of me. Ye have neither heard his voice at any time, nor seen his shape." For the second "proof" even if we assume John didn't lie, there is a big potential of mistranslation vis a vis the greek there are ample proofs from the Greek language, that In verse 58, Jesus DID NOT SAY "I AM". He rather said, "I HAVE (seen Abraham before he was even born), indeed prophets can have miraculous gifts from God, & u need to remember this verse: In the Old Testament, we read: "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations. (From the NIV Bible, Jeremiah 1:5)" Plus any rational human would expected from the God of the OT that He would clearly tell humans that he is God many many times & theat theyneed they need to worship him alone , not just use some misterious nick names which can also be used for prophets

Have you ever been taught that Jesus is a prophet by your church leaders? Have you ever been shown the unique promise Yehovah gave to Moses at mount Sinai? If not read on - you may be amazed to discover That Jesus Philip, Peter, Stephen and Paul all claim that Yeshua is the ‘true prophet’ that Moses prophesied in Deut 18? The true prophet is not God almighty! Jesus: John 5:45-46. Do not think that I will accuse you before the father! The one who accuses you is Moses, in whom you put your hope! For if you believed Moses, you would believe in me, for that one wrote about me. Philip: John 1:45 Philip found Nethaneal and said to him ‘we have found the one Moses wrote about in the law, and the prophets wrote about - Jesus, son of Joseph from Nazareth! Jesus: Luke 24:44 And he (Yeshua) said to them ‘these are my words that I spoke to you while I was still with you, that everything that is written about me in the law of Moses and the prophets and the psalms must be fulfilled’ Peter : Acts 3: 11-26 but after confirming he is talking about Yeshua Peter says in v 22- 24 quoting Deut 18 Moses said’ YHVH ( the Lord God) will raise up a prophet like me from among your brothers. You will listen to him in everything he says to you. And it will be that every soul who does not listen to that prophet will be destroyed utterly from the people” Stephen:. Acts 7:37 this is the Moses who said to the sins of Israel ‘god will raise up for you a prophet like me from among your brothers’ Paul: Acts 26:22 therefore I have experienced help from god to this day, and I stand here testifying to both small and great, saying nothing except what the prophets and Moses have said was going to happen Paul: Acts 28:23 and when they had set a day with him, many more came to him at his lodging place, to whom he was explaining from early in the morning until evening, testifying about the kingdom of God (YHVH’s Kingdom) and attempting to convince them about Yeshua from both the law of Moses and the prophets. Paul: 2 Corinthians 3:15 but until today, even when the law of Moses is read aloud, a vile lies over their hearts. Paul: - Hebrews 3:1-5 therefore brothers, sharers in a heavenly calling consider Yeshua our apostle (read prophet greater than Moses) and high priest of our confession, who was faithful to the one who appointed him, as Moses was also in his household. For this one (Yeshua) is considered worthy of greater glory than Moses, inasmuch as the one who builds it has greater honour than the house. For every house is built by someone, but the one who built all things is God. And Moses was faithful in all his house as a servant, fir a testimony to the things that would be spoken but Christ was faithful as a son over his house, whose house we are, if we hold fast to our confidence and the hope we can be proud of. The people: John 7:37) It being now the last the great day of the festival, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any one thirst, let him come to me and drink. (38) He who believeth in me; as the scripture hath said, Out of his belly will flow streams of living water. (39) Now this he said in reference to the spirit which they who believed in him were to receive; for a holy spirit was not yet received, because Jesus was not yet glorified. (40) Hereupon many of the people, when they heard this saying, said, This is certainly the prophet,(41) Others said, This is the Christ....
Luke 23: 46 "Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit" Q U E S T I O N: What "spirit" Jesus Christ commend to the hands of the Father ?? = His Eternal Deity Spirit . Jesus didn't had never human spirit. Jesus IS, He has no time, He is the same as the Father and the Holy Spirit. Jesus came into a human flesh not in another human being. John 6:62 "What then if you see the Son of Man ascending to where He was before?" !!!!! So, the Son of Man=Jesus, have a human spirit ??? and this human spirit where it was before ?? In Heaven ??? .... Liars !!! Jesus didn't have a human spirit ! He Is "I Am", not have time His Spirit. This verses give Confusion to all the Trinitarians that they say that is One God with Three substance = Heresy, they don't want to understand the word "One" ... One means Unity of Three Persons with their Spirits, Themselves. If the Bible is the perfect, clear, and unambiguous word of God why are there so many different and conflicting denominations and doctrines (especially re the divinity of Jesus, salvation and end-times), each professing to be the one and only truth?
Yehoshua our saviour is the future King (messiah/Christ) of the line of David, our High priest in the order of Melchizedek (Psalm 110), the prophet who was greater than Moses, that Yehovah promised he would send the Israelites (Deut 18), The Lord of whom Yehovah spoke to King David (psalm 110) and finally the son of man who was brought before the ancient of days in Daniel 7. None of these titles or roles are compatible with the title Yehovah which is name of the one true Gods name as testified in Exodus 3:15 and whom Jesus declared was the only true God in multiple accounts in the gospels God also said to Moses, “Say to the Israelites, ‘Yehovah the God of your fathers the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob has sent me to you.’ “This is my name forever, the name you shall call me from generation to generation. Exodus 3:16 Our saviour, Yehoshua who was called a man by himself, Peter and Paul has an amazing name which means Yehovah saves or Yehovah is salvation. He was never called ‘Jesus’ or ‘the Christ’ during his lifetime. The name yehoshua is actually Joshua in English. Jesus is a gross distortion designed to hide who is saviour truly is and his role. Yehoshua was filled with Word of Yehovah (Deut 18) and the fullness of the 7 spirits of Yehovah, (Isaiah 11). He came proclaiming his fathers name which is the only was an Israelite could even hope to be accepted as a true prophet, let alone ‘the prophet’ prophesied by Moses in Deut 18. Please see my next post regarding the irrefutable clear scripturs regarding this. Yehoshua declared in Matt 28 when looking over Jerusalem ‘ for I say unto you, I will not return until you say ‘blessed is he who comes in the name of Yehovah. Everything Yehoshua did was to glorify the only true God, God Almighty, the Most High. Yehoshua said he did nothing of himself and that he spoke only as he was commanded by his Heavenly father. Yehoshua came in the name of his father - a pre-requisite of a true prophet (Deut 18) and he called the people to repentance. He called them return to the faithful worship of Yehovah alone and to be obedient to the law as taught and given by Moses, which is of Yehovah BUT not the law that was delivered to the religious leaders of the day who did not obey Yehovah a commandments, ordnance or decrees. In so doing Yehoshua, who came filled with Word and spirits of Yehovah illuminated the law, clarifying areas when men were using the law to justify ungodly behaviour. Yehoshua is not Yehovah. All peoples on earth will one day that this is true. the church has distorted the person Jesus into some gross perverted Trinitarian Godhead It masks the clear teachings in our scriptures concerning the true prophet, High priest and King. Their is freedom in the worship of the God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob and that is who Yehoshua serves. A man who has been appointed King, and who who rule over Yehovah’s kingdom on earth when it comes. The kingdom that will usher in peace and Yehovahs rule.

Some people have a religion, opinion, philosophy on life...some people are born again, filled with the Holy Spirit, and love the Word of GOD. HALLELUJAH! His Name is JESUS. HALLELUJAH! Many "Evangelicals" don't even know what the word "evangel" even means...most self professing Christians don't. That would be a good Bible study for them...especially in understanding that the blood of the atonement had to be holy, without blemish...only GOD could do that, because all men are conceived in sin...therefore, the CREATOR of the Universe came down from Heaven-thru the virgin birth-to be the perfect substitute for the penalty of our iniquities. If JESUS was just a good man, then He too would be guilty of sin, and could not be our SAVIOR...but JESUS is GOD-He claimed to be GOD, His followers claimed that He is GOD, the Word of GOD declares that He is GOD, and the HOLY SPIRIT bears witness that He is GOD...and down to this day, those of us who are being saved, know & believe & bear witness to the truth: JESUS CHRIST is LORD. HALLELUJAH! Ligioner ministries, preach the Gospel(the Evangel)...stay strong, and GBU!!! Thankyou for your ministry, service to, and love for the LORD. Amen.
Praise Yehovah! The false gospel is being exposed! Hallelujah! People of faith are finally reading the scriptures for themselves and exposing the false traditional beliefs that had been handed down by false prophets and corrupt teachers. This movement is the true body of Yehoshua! Praise Yehovah and our saviour Yehoshua whose name means Yehovah saves or Yehovah is salvation. This is so exciting. Do not be afraid. Be encouraged you people of the book. Follow your King, our saviour and high Priest, the true prophet and the lord of lord - who submits in everything- both in his earthly life and now seated at the right hand of the father. We are those who reject the labels of falsehood! Their is power in the name of Yehovah, God almighty and God most high, and his saviour, his son, Yehoshua. Yehoshua who we call ‘Jesus’. Yehoshua was filled with Gods word (Deut 18) - the word of Yehovah never departed Yehoshua during his earthly ministry as it did to other earthly prophets before him. Yehoshua was filled with fullness of the 7 spirits of Yehovah (Isaiah 11) -yes this man was filled with fullness of the father. Hence, Yehoshua only spoke was he was commanded to speak by his father and our father, his God and our God (John 24, Rev C1-3). He only did what his was commanded to do. Everything Yehoshua did was to teach the people his fathers character and commandments - for he is the way to the father - his is the life that was given that we may be raised from death with an immortal body that we can worship the father in the new heaven and earth - he taught us the way to live, how we can please our Heavenly Father by being obedient to the fathers commands. The scriptures are bursting with vibrant life showing us clearly that Yehovah is the only true God and that Yehoshua is his King! That we must never made an idol of an object (the cross) or of a man (Jesus in a cross). Unshackle yourselves from the history of an organisation that has brutally suppressed the truth and taught lie after lie In order control you. Yehoshua taught the most important commandment in the whole of scripture was this ‘here o Isreal Yehovah is God alone! Hallelujah! The people are being set free from Satan’s false doctrine. I used to call myself a non-conformist Christian. Now I call myself a Nazarene! Because that is what our saviour was called ‘one who watches over and guards the harvest’ - this was written above our saviours head as he died laid down his life for us . This is the name the first followers of Yehoshua were called - just read Acts 26 and see how paul was accused of being a leader of the sect of the nazeranes!! Do a search now for the word Nazarene in the New Testament and you will be shocked and inspired. Amen!!
Are you sure that you believe in predestination? If you do, then why the urgency for the lost? If we obey and preach, then the elect will hear, plain and simple. Don't be talking like a "we have to preach or people will go to hell type arminian".

In Identity Jesus is not God, that’s his Father. Jesus in identity is the Son of God. Now when it comes to his Nature Jesus is Divine, he is God in that sense; John 1:1 says Jesus(the word) was with God(the Father) and the word was God referring to his nature. According to Jesus God in identity is his Father; why do we read/quote John 3:16 and not realize it was Jesus who spoke these words giving evidence that God is the Father who gave his Only Begotten Son referring to himself. The majority of the Christian world never put emphasis on who spoke the words of John 3:16 though we quote it,know it by heart we fail to put emphasis on this which is very important believe it or not.
The Jesus of the Bible was the human begotten and born Son of God and Messiah. Jesus never claimed to be God. God cannot die. He begat a Son that He had predestined before the earth was made to be crucified. Revelation 13:8. God gave his Son so that whosoever believes will receive eternal life. John 3:16. I put together 55 plain unambiguous scriptures from the NT that prove Jesus is not God. 1) Jesus said he has a God and he calls Him Father. John 20:17 2) Jesus said his Father is the only true God. Mark 13:32 13) Jesus said: "I am a man who has told you the truth I heard from God." John 8:40 14) Jesus said: I am the Messiah. John 4:25:26; Jn 8:58; 15) Jesus said "I am God's Son." (Romans 5:10). REV Bible 44) Paul states: through the obedience of the one MAN (Jesus) the many will be made righteous. Romans 5:19 45) Stephen said he saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing at the right hand of God. Acts 7:55 46) Matthew writes: "and Look!, a voice came out of heaven, saying, “This is my Son, the beloved, in whom I am well pleased.” Matthew 3:17 The voice that came out of heaven is the Father's voice. The beloved Son is Jesus. God was not talking about himself. 47) Peter says: "God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy spirit and with power." Acts 10:38. If Jesus is God did God anoint himself? 48) The Book of Hebrews states: Jesus is our Apostle and high priest; faithful to the God who appointed him, just as Moses was faithful. Hebrews 3:1-2 49) John states: the Father (YHWH) gave the Son (Jesus) to be savior of the world. 1 John 4:14; 50) John states that God (YHWH) gave His ONLY BEGOTTEN Son (Jesus) that whosoever believes in him will not perish. Luke 2:52 If Paul or any of the Apostles thought Jesus was God, they would not have said God raised him or referred to him as a MAN. God’s Son died. God cannot die. Jesus is NOT God. The above scriptures are simple straight forward and self evident in their meaning. You don't have to be a scholar to understand their plain meaning. It took philosophers 350 years to pervert the Christian faith with pagan philosophy and hoodwink the church fathers. Philo started this "Jesus is God" nonsense with his logos theory and trinity doctrine. Can a man be considered God without actually being God? YES: Through the Law of Agency. A King's messenger is viewed as being the King without actually being the King. A King's son can have all the rights, privileges, power, and authority as the King, without being the King. In the Hebrew culture the agent is called a Shaliach. Moses, as God's shaliach spoke as God in the first person, yet no one says Moses is God. Angels sent by God spoke in the first person as God yet they were not God.
Hardly startling, rather an all too expected sad fulfillment of prophecy for those who know God's Word and the diabolical nature of the times in which we live: Isa_5:13 Therefore my people are gone into captivity for lack of knowledge; and their honorable men are famished, and their multitude are parched with thirst. Jer_4:22 For my people are foolish, they know me not; they are sottish children, and they have no understanding; they are wise to do evil, but to do good they have no knowledge. Hos_4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I also will forget thy children. Tragically we are now a mindless cesspool of emotions and orgasms incapable of rational or intelligent thought, so sadly devoid of the truth inherent in the spirit of Christ (John 8:32) that such surveys are really quite meaningless and devoid of significance. See C.S. Lewis's The Great Divorce. E.g. the endless lies about what is really only a mild flu that is the Wuhan virus that has groundlessly shut down the western "church" that refuses to "love not their life even unto death" (Rev 12:11), why she has no "they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb, and because of the word of their testimony" that precedes it. The faithful Chinese church's martyrs of whom we're not worthy have lived the truth of this verse for decades, sacrificing their lives and loved ones to the evil communist brutality (vile brutality like BLM and Antifa that much of our diabolically deranged political establishment lust to bring here) for the sake of Jesus, easily putting us to shame. Only God save us, not politics, though we must engage in the political sphere since WE are the government, unlike how it was for Christians in the days of Romans 13 that too many preachers grossly pervert in misapplying it to today when telling us to "submit to the authorities" since in most western republics/democracies, WE are those authorities. God save us.
Rom 1:18 The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of men who suppress the truth by their wickedness. 2Ti 4:3 For the time will come when men will not tolerate sound doctrine, but with itching ears they will gather around themselves teachers to suit their own desires. 2Ti 4:4 So they will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths. This ever-evolving narcissistic breed seeks to deify itself into a breed of 'little gods'. For them Christ is not the God-Man but one who came to show how to be god and hence their wilful denial of truth. The Serpent's venom 'you shall be as god' is at work. Their dilemma is not intellectual but an ever-increasing moral degeneration - these are perilous times!!!
This is just total bullshit. How can anybody be "lost" when three quarters of the world is non-Christian in the first place? Eternal damnation for what? This is sick and disgusting.
count one more on the no side. Jesus is divine, he is the Christ but not God. The theory that Jesus is God was not formulated during Jesus lifetime nor we have records that Jesus said "I'm God"
Without Christ no redemption. Without Christ eternal damnation and hell. Without Christ there would be no Bible as its all about Him.Christ is fully God. The Bible says You must confess with your mouth and believe in your heart that Jesus is Lord or you cannot be saved.
Dude where did this creep up come from? I didn't even think it was disputed. What a disaster the pulpits are in America.
An example are those preaching a prosperity gospel calling themselves equal to God the Father and God the Son. It is said that Benni Hinn got off that path, I pray he did for his salvation and the salvation of his followers.
@@annahoffmaster4737 Yea so did Todd White, he said he found Spurgeon and realized he wasn't preaching the whole gospel. Granted it's one thing to say that and then another to keep preaching it when the money dries up and the tv spots disappear and the popularity dies once the real gospel is preached. If someone like Olsteen did an about face his huge ministry would collapse. People who attend Pros. Gospel churches go to church to hear what they want to hear.
dont let one false heretic pastor spread lies that 30% bible believers dont believe Jesus is not God...
this is an end time deception to have people think that the Unitarian position is appealing and therefore lets fall away from the Trinity...
@@firingallcylinders2949 Most definitely people will fall away from that false gospel preacher. If someone like Olsreen would repent, he would end up claiming bankruptcy and many will walk away, I believe. I do know that Yeshua is the Lamb of God, and died for our sins, and rose from the dead, is at the right hand of God his Father as we communicate now and, if it is God's will, will hear that false preacher's repenting. How God handles it is not my call. It is horrible that people want to deny the Deity of the Son of God. All we can do is pray for them to repent and turn to God with a renewed heart. Sorry for being so lengthy on my reply.
@Sammy Oliver How do you explain that Jesus has a God?
So sad that even people who claim to be evangelical Christians deny/reject His deity. Tragedy...😥
It’s insane!
It is Sad
If Jesus was God,
1. how could the Holy God bear sins?
2. how could the Living God die?
We can't come to GOD without Jesus.
Then don’t call these people evangelicals, because they are not! Evangelicals believe in the deity of Christ!
@@Cheryl64014 They are not identified as evangelicals by themselves, but the questions asked in the survey
@@marukchozt6744 Yes. I saw nothing wrong about what was said.

Why @Charles Smoot is offended is either a failure of logical reasoning or perhaps cognitive dissonance with what was said. Probably 'triggered' in some way.
@@stephenblackwell8486 Such a great comment, Stephen. I also recently discovered John MacArthur and gravitated towards R.C Sproul and Ligonier because of their focus on exegesis of the Bible and accurate theological teaching. It's not enough for one to hear the Word of God from the pulpit. One must also engross themselves in Scripture on a daily basis and know *WHY* Scripture is *TRUE* in a rigorous and logical _(concretely - like doing mathematical proofs as an analogy)_ way.
Of course, once anyone knows the Gospel and accepts that is *ABSOLUTELY TRUE* and follows Jesus Christ, then the battle is already won, come what may after that....

Is it possible that the survey somehow included some Mormons and Jehovah’s Witnesses who would affirm the “target” questions but not affirm Christ’s deity?
That's what I was thinking. Mormons could absolutely affirm all but the first question. JWs could affirm all 4.
Very good point.
Not really, Mormons and Jehovah's witnesses do not believe in the absolute authority and sufficiency of Scripture, as you probably know they have their own false prophets, also they do not believe in the wrath of God and eternal Hell and therefore do no not see a real need for Jesus dying as substitute on the cross for His people (PENAL SUBSTITUTIONARY ATONEMENT), and that He is the only way for salvation, they affirm more like grace/works combined system of salvation, similar to Roman Catholicism, Eastern Orthodoxy etc, so I guess if the survey was done right, Mormons and Jehovah's witnesses should have been clearly
dismissed as heretics on all different Biblical grounds
@@Hris1234 But the point is, they could affirm the 4 target questions, for the most part, and be classified as "evangelicals."
If you had even basic knowledge of their religions you should have known well that they clearly contradict at least two of these
Do you think they could have meant he isn’t God the Father? We tend to be pretty sloppy when we refer to the Father.
Jesus gave me eternal life so I guess you could say he is pretty divine
The Bible is clear. Jesus Christ is God. He is the visible incarnation of God the Father. He is fully God the creator and fully man. He is our atonement for sin. Only God is salvation. Jesus Christ our Lord God and savior reigns forever and ever

Knowing and realizing this very truth is why I am changed today because I realized that God died for me before that moment I saw God and Jesus as two separate people and never understood the connection to the two and why it was so important. This was something the Holy Spirit showed me in my bedroom one night in that instant the presence of God fell on me for the first time in my life and my life has never been the same since then.

The life of a devout Christian is very burdensome. It is full of difficulty and suffering.
Sadly, too many people embrace "feel good" Christianity to avoid having to suffer.
About 9 years ago I hear a youth pastor, from an evangelical church, Jesus wasn't Jesus until he was baptized by John. When I expressed by concern to others in authority they brushed it of as a minor problem.
That 30% is going to hell. "He that hath seen Me hath seen the Father." "They have a form of godliness but deny the power thereof."
"Depart from me, ye that work iniquity, for I never knew you."
Hosea 11:9. God is NOT MAN.
2nd Kings 19:19. Elohiem is Yhwh alone.
Psalms 18::31 Eph. 4:6, Mark 12:29, Isaiah 44,45 there is no God before ME or AFTER me.
Worshipping a man as God is an abomination. A strong delusion.

Mark 2:27-28 - Jesus said to them, “The Sabbath was made for man, and not man for the Sabbath. So the Son of Man IS LORD even of the Sabbath.”
John 1:1-2; 14 - In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word WAS GOD. He was in the beginning with God... 14 And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth.

Who is the ‘I AM’?
It is God’s revealed name in the Old Testament book of Exodus:
Exodus 3:14 - God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM”; and He said, “Thus you shall say to the sons of Israel, ‘I AM has sent me to you.’”
John 8:58 - Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was born, I AM.”
1) He identifies himself with the name of God.
2) He doesn’t say I was, but I am. So he was pre-existent before Abraham and has not changed his Godly essence since then.
Who is the ‘First and the Last’?
Isaiah 44:6 Thus says the LORD, the King of Israel and his Redeemer, the LORD of hosts: “I am the FIRST AND I AM THE LAST; BESIDES ME THERE IS NO GOD.”

In the end they will get the punishment their wicked deeds deserve
The way the Bible explains it is, Christ is the foundation and each individual Christian is a stone built on the foundation creating a temple.
God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. 4‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ b or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.
You see how god says his bride is the new Jerusalem
And in rev 21:9 it says
9One of the seven angels who had the seven bowls full of the seven last plagues came and said to me, “Come, I will show you the bride, the wife of the Lamb.” 10And he carried me away in the Spirit to a mountain great and high, and showed me the Holy City, Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God.
You see how the 12 tribes are the bride of Jesus
and in
Rev 21:22-23 I did not see a temple in the city, because the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple.

Jesus clearly define Himself as being the Father and not a second person of a triune gods never teach in the bible. Three heads ? really ?? with six arms?

3002 surveys completed
approx 28% agree with all of the 4 statements that Ligonier use to define 'Evangelical'
28% of 3002 = 840.56
30% of 840.56 = 252.168
So, if that's roughly correct there were about 252 people who agreed strongly with the 4 statements who also agreed with the statement 'Jesus was a great teacher, but he was not God.'
52% over all agreed with it which works out as 1561.04
May they all come to know the real Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Amen.
trust me 30% is inflated
Define real Jesus for people if you are going to make the statement and if you truly care about people's salvation.
The real Jesus is not the Jesus of "Churchianity."
The real Jesus is the Jesus of the Bible which is the Jesus Paul teaches us about. Salvation during this Age of Grace comes by believing Paul's Gospel only, and none other than Paul's Gospel.
Where Peter, James, and John agree with Paul, it's for us.
Where they don't agree, it's because they were writing to Jews.
Paul is our Apostle and his Gospel is the only one with the poser to save lives during this present Age.
So here is the Gospel: 1 Corinthians 15:1-4; Romans 10:9-10; Ephesians 2:8-9

@@johnspartan98 Hi! Just a few things if I may:-
In Romans 9: 5 Paul says 'Whose are the fathers, and of whom as concerning the flesh Christ came, who is over all, God blessed for ever. Amen.' This shows that Paul clearly thought that Jesus was God.
Paul refers to Jesus as 'Lord' in Romans 19: 13 'For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.' In this passage Paul is quoting Joel 2: 32 'And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD hath said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call.' The word 'LORD' here is referring explicitly to YHWH.
Paul refers to Jesus as 'Lord' in 1 Corinthians 1: 31 'That, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord.' and 2 Corinthians 10: 17 'But he that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord.' In this passage Paul is quoting Jeremiah 9: 24 'But let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I am the LORD which exercise lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, saith the LORD.' The word 'LORD' here is also explicitly referring to YHWH
My conclusion is that Jesus is God according to what Paul taught.
May God bless you.

The apostles call Yahweh the God and Father of our lord Jesus Christ.
YHWH Himself tells Moses about the coming Messiah:
*_"I will raise up for them a prophet like you from among their fellow Israelites, and I will put my words in his mouth. He will tell them everything I command him."_* Deuteronomy 18:18.
Peter confirms Jesus is the fulfillment of this prophecy in Acts 3:22-26; Acts 7:37.
Now examine the text:
1. YHWH will raise up (divine intervention; YHWH begat Jesus in the womb of Mary)
2. a prophet like you (Moses) was Moses God? No, he was a god with a lowercase "g" which means he was an anointed representative and ruler of the people of Israel. He was God's shaliach (agent). To disobey Moses was considered disobeying God Himself....yet Moses was not God.....he was a god.
3. from among their fellow Israelites. (Jesus would be a human being....an Israelite).
4. and I will put my words in his mouth. (note: God does not say His word will become Jesus).
Jesus said he speaks his Father's words. John 7:15; John 14:10; John 14:24; John 12:49-50; John 17:14;
Jesus said his teaching is from his Father. John 7:15; John 12:49-50
Jesus said his Father told him what to speak. John 12:49-50
Jesus said: "I am a man who has told you the truth I heard from God." John 8:40
Numbers 23:19

Who is ‘the only true God’ Jesus is speaking of...?
John 17:3 - “This is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.”
Who was Jesus crying out to?
Mark 15:34 - “At the ninth hour Jesus cried out with a loud voice, “ELOI, ELOI, LAMA SABACHTHANI?” which is translated, “MY GOD, MY GOD, WHY HAVE YOU FORSAKEN ME?””
Who is Christ handing the Kingdom over to...himself?
1 Corinthians 15:23-24 - “But each in his own order: Christ the first fruits, after that those who are Christ’s at His coming, then comes the end, when He hands over the kingdom to the God and Father, when He has abolished all rule and all authority and power.”
And in this verse, who is the Son subjected to...himself?
1 Corinthians 15:28 - “And when all are made subject to Him, then the Son Himself shall also be subject to Him who put all under Him, in order that God be all in all.”
Jesus was and is the firstborn of ALL creation! He operated (as a man) in the FULL authority of the Father, while dwelling among men.
Matthew 28:18 - “And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.”
‘Has been GIVEN to me’...which begs a very logical / fundamental question...From who!?!

My goodness, I guess these people are not very good reading their bibles, the 1st chapter of the gospel of John 1 reveals the divinity of Christ. God the Father declared Jesus as his son in the gospels. Jesus said, “Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I am.”
heavenly being vs. God = divinity vs. deity
Is God the Lamb of God?
If not so, why did the same writer John call Jesus "the Lamb of God"?
@Angel Love Is Jesus God Almighty?
Absolutely tragic data. Shame on us for not setting our own house in order. Is it any wonder that our society is careening down the broad road to Hell?

yea...I dont get into all that "mumbo jumbo"
Col 2:8: See to it that no one takes you captive by philosophy and empty deceit, according to human tradition, according to the elemental spirits of the world, and not according to Christ.
(Romans 4:24-25) "No Act yet"
2. "Knowing" how the justification is related to the Salvation: The justification brings the access to the grace. Under this grace, we will be saved to the eternal life. (Romans 5) "No Act yet"
3. (Romans 6) "No Act yet" "Just Knowing and Reckoning"
4. If our own minds are dead, the mind of Jesus (or our knowledge of Jesus) will "live" and "move" our dead bodies to love our enemies in order to spotlight (to glorify) the Loving God. Because God first has loved us who were His enemies (sinners).
5. Amen "The Grace from God, the Father Only" in other words "To be called by God through Jesus Christ Only"
Jesus is not only Divine, He is the very menifestation of the fulness of the Godhead in the Flesh.( Col 2:9)
Amen
And ask them about Arius and Athanasius, and most will say "Who?" Ask them about the creeds, and they say "I don't need to bother my head with that."
Here's how I would answer that survey:
Q: "Is Jesus a great teacher but not God: Yes / No."
A: I would look for another option... it's a bad question. Jesus was a great teacher. Sure. But he wasn't presented as a teacher. He taught, to be sure, but he's presented as the Anointed One of God.
How about:
- Jesus is Messiah, King of Israel, future ruler of the world who will sit on the throne of his father David, righteous Redeemer from sin, resurrected from the dead and standing at the right hand of God and ready to return to judge the world?

JESUS is the son of GOD. OUR LORD AND SAVIOR
The book of Revelation is Jesus Christ unveiling the end of days and His divinity. Revelation 1:1-8

The he is the messiah, the one who God had chosen, predestined from the beginning to be the savior of the world.

they are not evangelicals.
It does not matter what evangelical or fundamentalist doctrine anyone holds to-I don't care even if they call themselves Calvinists-if they deny the full deity and humanity of Christ, they are damned unless and until they repent.

This is sad but true. Alot of young people grow up not ever knowing the Bible.
Any one who denies the deity of Jesus Christ is not a Christian. Jesus Christ is 100% God and 100% man. John 14 7-10, John 8-23.

"No man hath seen God at any time,"
1 John 4:12
"And the Father himself, which hath sent me, hath borne witness of me. He rather said, "I HAVE (seen Abraham before he was even born), indeed prophets can have miraculous gifts from God, & u need to remember this verse: In the Old Testament, we read:
"Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.

Jesus: Luke 24:44 And he (Yeshua) said to them ‘these are my words that I spoke to you while I was still with you, that everything that is written about me in the law of Moses and the prophets and the psalms must be fulfilled’
Peter : Acts 3: 11-26 but after confirming he is talking about Yeshua Peter says in v 22- 24 quoting Deut 18 Moses said’ YHVH ( the Lord God) will raise up a prophet like me from among your brothers. You will listen to him in everything he says to you. And it will be that every soul who does not listen to that prophet will be destroyed utterly from the people”
Stephen:. Acts 7:37 this is the Moses who said to the sins of Israel ‘god will raise up for you a prophet like me from among your brothers’
Paul: Acts 26:22 therefore I have experienced help from god to this day, and I stand here testifying to both small and great, saying nothing except what the prophets and Moses have said was going to happen
Paul: Acts 28:23 and when they had set a day with him, many more came to him at his lodging place, to whom he was explaining from early in the morning until evening, testifying about the kingdom of God (YHVH’s Kingdom) and attempting to convince them about Yeshua from both the law of Moses and the prophets.

Romans 12:4 For as we have many members in ONE body, but all the members do not have the same function, 5 so we, being many, are ONE body in Christ, and individually members of one another.
1Corinthians 3:8 Now he who plants and he who waters ARE ONE, and each one will receive his own reward according to his own labor.
When they ask an Elect Born Again Christian (Romans 8:28-30) ... Who is God?? he answer 1John 5:7 = God ARE TREE and THEY ARE ONE every person has His spirit His personality, Himself =
The Father has H i m s e l f = John 5:26, John 17:5,
Jesus has H i m s e l f = Hebrew 5:5 John 5:26, John 10:18, John 14:21, and
The Holy Spirit has H i m s e l f = John 16:13
These Three persons are ONE IN UNITY , "One God" means One in Unity and not an absolute monad, John 17:21 that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us. ONE= UNITY ( bible. ca/trinity/trinity-oneness-unity-yachid-vs-echad . htm )
If the Bible is the perfect, clear, and unambiguous word of God why are there so many different and conflicting denominations and doctrines (especially re the divinity of Jesus, salvation and end-times), each professing to be the one and only truth?
The word became flesh and dwelt among us. If you have seen me, you have seen the father.
I AM WHO I AM! BEFORE ABRAHAM WAS I AM! WHY ARE MY WORDS NOT CLEAR TO YOU? JESUS IS LORD!
The 30 to 70 is like the shape of the cross.
None of these titles or roles are compatible with the title Yehovah which is name of the one true Gods name as testified in Exodus 3:15 and whom Jesus declared was the only true God in multiple accounts in the gospels
God also said to Moses, “Say to the Israelites, ‘Yehovah the God of your fathers the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob has sent me to you.’
“This is my name forever,
the name you shall call me
from generation to generation. Exodus 3:16
Our saviour, Yehoshua who was called a man by himself, Peter and Paul has an amazing name which means Yehovah saves or Yehovah is salvation.
Say: He is Allah, the One! (1) Allah, the eternally Besought of all! (2) He begetteth not nor was begotten. (3) And there is none comparable unto Him. (4)

Why is this even a topic of discussion? Jesus Christ - truly man and truly God. It is diabolical to deny this.
The insects of hell deny the Divinity of Jesus Christ but true human believed the Christ is fully Divine and fully human.
From what this man says, it appears that his group is at least trying to adhere to the Dogma of the Hypostatic Union.
Divinity of Jesus is not based on votes or likes by people. Truth is absolute and not relative
Then they are not evangelicals. These 30%.
You should have seen my face reading this title....
Amen.
Amen!!
YES
Jesus Christ is Lord of Lords && King of Kings
Are you sure that you believe in predestination? If you do, then why the urgency for the lost? If we obey and preach, then the elect will hear, plain and simple. Don't be talking like a "we have to preach or people will go to hell type arminian".
LORD JESUS CHRIST IS GOD

That is a tragedy of monumental proportions.🙏
Or perhaps that people start having the right understanding and rely on their common sense.....
Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign. Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.Isaiah 7:14

46) Matthew writes: "and Look!, a voice came out of heaven, saying, “This is my Son, the beloved, in whom I am well pleased.” Matthew 3:17
The voice that came out of heaven is the Father's voice. The beloved Son is Jesus. God was not talking about himself.
47) Peter says: "God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy spirit and with power." Acts 10:38. If Jesus is God did God anoint himself?

Hardly startling, rather an all too expected sad fulfillment of prophecy for those who know God's Word and the diabolical nature of the times in which we live:
Isa_5:13 Therefore my people are gone into captivity for lack of knowledge; and their honorable men are famished, and their multitude are parched with thirst.
Why don't you tell people the whole truth that Jesus only d i
Well I believe Jesus is God and anyone who doesn't believe it is not a Christian and lost.
count one more on the no side. Jesus is divine, he is the Christ but not God. The theory that Jesus is God was not formulated during Jesus lifetime nor we have records that Jesus said "I'm God"
That just shows over 30% are wrong
God is spirit Jesus is God manifested in the flesh.
Jesus is Divine Son of God and son of man, the new creation !
The living Word pre-incarnation was God in eternity!
Without Christ no redemption. Without Christ eternal damnation and hell. Without Christ there would be no Bible as its all about Him.Christ is fully God. The Bible says You must confess with your mouth and believe in your heart that Jesus is Lord or you cannot be saved.
All of this people is already Muslims without any intention as islam make you to believe that Jesus is just human and prophet like moses and Muhammad.
