It's very easy to play the same set again and again, to me that is boring. I want to give people what they want, but take them on a journey, and create a memorable dope moment.
For the LS23 stage at Leeds festival this year, one of my sets was Rock related, Rap that mentioned the word Rock or contained a Rock influence. 'We Will Rock You' into 'In New York I Milly Rock, hide it in my socks'... If people got it they got it, if they didn't at the very least they had their hands in the air.
'We will Rock You' by Queen is the ultimate stadium anthem, and some people will call me crazy for saying this, but it has a Hip Hop feel. It reminds me of J Kwon's 'Tipsy', and Young Jeezy's classic 'And Then What'.
Regardless, my set banged, the crowd was moved, and it was a great night.
