Surprisingly, Sutton lawyer doesn't seem to have brought that to her attention. You can not be accused for something that you don't know but once you make it clear that you have any knowledge, then you may have to be asked further questions. Interesting that she hasn't realised that as preoccupied by her reputation 🤔🤨

So if your husband has a loan and he dies his loan will go to you and will be your issue and if you die your children will be implicated as well unless they take your possessions as a mortgage or safety net

You talking about materials things, what is in question here is how people are so desperate to blame Erika for her husband business dealings in which she has not been proven to be involved in. I am not a smart person, what I am concerned about here is, how come, the wife gets blame for that? Furthermore, hope people realise that, there's no way one like Tom, would have been handling all those cases, money from start to this stage all on his own? There's no in hell that is doable. Suspect there are bigger fishes and Erika is getting the heat on her own and that's wrong. Most these women on this shows are benefiting, enjoying their husbands make, does that mean that they are responsible for it? Speaking on paying the victims back, you just can't single handedly decide to take any action to right any wrong while the case is still pending. Erika isn't only dealing with a divorce after 20+ years, finding out that she was married to someone she didn't really know, her future (how will she make a living if hercharacter is automatically painted with this mess? She's a 50 years old woman, not to mention that her only son is a police officer. Do anyone knows what Tom has put her through all those years? If he was powerful to the point where he could handle the Legal system this way, how do you think he was handling her behind close doors?
To be fair to the girls if they know even a little bit of whats going on they could get ordered to appaer in court which is why I'm yelling at my TV like "DON'T ASK HER ANYTHING DO YOU ALSO WANT TO GO TO COURT & TESTIFY!!!!"

When Erika asks “what do you think?” That is a classic liars way to turn the tables and deflect. She was aware and she is lying.
She does that at the reunion too. Andy asks her the million dollar question and she doesn't answer. She let's him say it and then vaguely agrees. I was shook. That moment made me absolutely sure that she was lying.
Erica, you were married with your husband for 21 years. You married him when you were 27, an adult with one child and of course have an awareness with your surroundings. A successful lawyer cannot have all these: 2 private jets, a luxurious yatch, a massive mansion, provide for his wife all luxurious clothings and jewelries, provide $40k monthly for wife's glam, luxurious cars etc. Erica, you know a lawyer cannot have all these not unless he is stealing money from people. You know your husband was stealing money and you live for it because you want to live crazily rich. Now, your time has come and you are showing your guilt of involvement through your manner of behaviour, your eye movements and your obvious guilt of communication with the case. You should go to jail and be seriously broke.
I really think she has convinced herself she is not liable but soon as they do those investigations and start digging, it’s all going to come out and she will be held partly responsible, and will have to pay the funds back. Even if they can prove she didn’t know source of the funds were compensation for Tom’s clients, it will be the application of the administrators of the bankruptcy to recoup any funds whether this be through assets, her earnings by way of attachment orders.
I honestly watched this show for years and before all these allegations, I knew their lifestyle didn't make sense. He was a trial lawyer and she spun him as this amazing ethical lawyer who was the attorney in the Erin Brovovich case. Then she would boast about her 40k glam squad, a ring for her birthday for nearly 200k, two private jets, a mansion. It just didn't add up for me, the story is shocking and really deplorable when you think about it. Imagine all these poor victims watching this show, seeing their opulent lifestyle which was funded on their backs, it's really blood money!

The SLC Ron Richards just confirmed the $25 million she got was from her card, the firm paid for all of her glam squad & other costs associated with her, over 14 years. They have the receipts. She knew what she was spending and that it came direct from a law firm. It isn’t legal to give your wife a card to the business and allow her to spend 2 million a year. That’s not a genuine expense 😂 Oh and Rinna is being deposed.

But it was obvious she was dumb and she didn’t work or pretend to be a pop star riding around on private planes. Erika has said she pays her own bills, she acted like she was a smart woman who could ask him anything. Tom’s name wasn’t on her business, she is responsible and she knows it. And the story about his head injury, how convenient.

I truly don't know where's my heart about Erika's issues. However, I'm inclined to believe that's not true everything she says. There's a clip at the beginning of the season, when the problems were starting to unfold, when she said a bunch of things like "Tom had an affair. Tod had an accident. Tom had dementia. Tom was demeaning...", like if she was trying to throw a bunch of sticky items to the wall, just waiting for one of the to stick. I mean... She hasn't given us yet a chronology of the events, just a rant of non-conected excuses. Besides, I, that have watched the whole RHOBH series, have notted that, since her appearence in the show, there was a shift in the way the girls present themselves. In the previous seasons, the girls didn't make such an effort with their looks; they were expensive? Hell yeah. Were they that theatrical? Hell no. She introduced the concept of "glam squad", and many wifes, such as Dorit, Kyle or Reena, immediatelly copied her. Well, as someone else has said in the comments quoting Bethenny "You can't play smart and stupid at the same time". So, appearing now as some kind of Sicilian widow, after all this years of ice cold queen persona is very very upsetting.

I once read somewhere a high powered PR person in Hollywood said something along the lines of: in America you can be a dumb celebrity or comit a crime but just make sure you look good doing it because people always go easy on good looking, well dressed and presented public figures 🥴 some see through appearance but most people fall for the “packaging”.

This is the best episode so far in this season. It was awkward, uncomfortable and informative at the same time. I mean this whole season has been 🔥 rhbh has been quite boring for a while. Anyway i like it when the ladies ask the questions...and they should. I also understand Erika can't give too much legally on a show.
