Wow Konami going into their back catalog......
You must've never played DDR 😂
I'm a big fan of DDR and I would love this thing.
However, I have StepMaina and can play it anytime. But this is still nice.
Damn I remember playing those dance games at the arcade and at the demo consoles in a store. Wow I do miss ddr so much. I also played the ddr extreme and in the groove 2 machines which are kinda hard to find nowadays.
Lol I can't see you playing dance revolution 😂😂
Is this for real
3rd mix.... pass. 😂
I kept my DDR Dance pads and games from PS1, PS2, Gamecube, and PS3 for my kids... They love those games...
Mini Pump It Up DDR Smallest Arcade Machine Wow!!!!!!!!!
This is pretty sweet, I honestly keep on wishing that we would get new DDR games with the mats like on ps2.
This is a huge W
that game was my *JAM* back in the early 2000s! met a significant chunk of my internet/IRL friends thanks to that series! So naturally when I caught wind of this thing I was kinda hyped! I'm curious if it'd support other USB controllers I have a PS-USB adapter and one of those in-between pads that's not a metal one but not one of those cheapo soft pads, I wonder if that setup would work on this??! definitely gonna keep an eye on this!!
Put that on 2 player mode, my dude!
I thought this was a arcade1up still cool
If there's no Captain Jack it's a scam!!!!
lol what do you mean not comprehend more than 5mm?
thats 0.5cm, so just double it and you've got 1cm. Imagine 10 of those and you've got 1dm, 10 of those and you've go a meter, and so on.
To be fair, I never played much DDR. I DID like listening to the Disney Mix music from it, though. The Eurobeat Mix of Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious can be catchy in any form.
I wonder if you can buy the controllers seperatly and use them for Stepmania. Honestly would be cute and cool to use mini controllers like that.
How to get cramped fingers…. You think 🤔 they should make iPhones 📱 for babies 👶 cause I do…
It's odd you would compare this to a mini console - when this is more similar to New Wave Toys or Numskull Quarter Arcades
It's $300 bux and it comes out tomorrow - you getting it?
Hopefully you can use the SD card slot on the right side of the DDR Mini cabinet to add your own edits. Just like how you can add your own edits in one of the DDR arcade cabinets with a PS1 memory card.
i was born with no rhythm and weak ass ankles. DDR is dope to observe but the game itself gives me anxiety lol
This is cool and all, but looking at the size of it, it's going to be expensive as all hell...which is automatic no for me. Imagine - this or PS5 disc version? The answer is clear!
I have 2 ps5 disc consoles, ill trade one of them for this 😂
i like the music but not the game 😂
"Anything can be used as a decoration". Wow. Way to shut down that marketing bullet point.
no more than $300 please
Very entertaining and fun to watch. Thanks for posting this.
43,780 yen = 300 bucks
Seems you can't order from the website and get it in the U.S. :(
Are these being sold on Konami style?
I think I recall the PC version called Tap Tap revolution where you could edit your own songs with the overlay 🤔
I still just want a metal Red Octane pad for ps2. They are so expensive and heavy. :(
I hope that the DanceDanceRevolution Classic Mini will have USB controller and USB keyboard support. That would give those who would buy this mini cabinet alternative controller options besides using the included pad controllers or a USB dance pad.
It will
@@RigbyIsTheMan How do you know?
@@ValentinesEve1996 I read the article about it and it said Konami themed pad, so I'm not too sure what that means
@@ValentinesEve1996 so you apparently have to buy a specific mat from Konami so that's kind of sad and that goes for 100+ dollars
@@RigbyIsTheMan What I was trying to say is if the DanceDanceRevolution Classic Mini would support regular USB controllers like the PS5 DualSense controller (wired obviously).
W3rd!
I was never too big on DDR, but this is such a cool way to commemorate the game!
Always good to see *Teenagerfart* in the green background text.
Wait WHAT!? *OMFG Pop'n Music classic mini next please omgomgmgomg!!!!* 👀👀
Tacky and probably super over priced considering their ddr GP pad is $200. No thank you. Stepmania with ddr skins are free and you can invest in a good hard pad. This is dumb as all hell lol
I just got my x68000z I love it
I kind of want one. Especially if I can connect the arcade pads to it.
You know the Asian models are often quite small and making that thing look a whole lot bigger than it’s really going to be
I put the measurements in inches in the video, its pretty damn big.. but yes the female models may distort how big it actually is, it is still a large device over 15 inches tall and over a foot wide.
What is the songlist? Does it have all the licensed songs or just Konami originals? If it is the latter I'm out.
It was a very good year.
It'd be cool if it came out internationally. Be even cooler if they had a way to add tracks.
People online will undoubtedly find ways to hack/mod it for adding songs.
@@ultraspinalki11 Only if it has mass appeal. The TurboGraphix Mini is still not hacked.
@@RasKetchum I could have sworn I read during summer that the Turbografx/PC engine mini had been hacked...
You don't happen to have alternatives for DDR at home? Thinking of getting either this mini or something close to this for my nieces.
@@ultraspinalki11 That could be a thing since I haven't kept up closely with it but I follow different channels like Restalgia that if a hack was made I'm sure they'd cover it.
As far as at home solutions, I'm surprised I never gave much thought to that myself given how much I used to play DDR at the beach arcades, but I'd assume MAME? That or emulating the console ports.
@@RasKetchumDDR itself doesn’t have mass appeal and the arcade games are hacked. If this uses the same ssq files as the modern games this will be hacked within a week.
Wait! Why can he only visualize 5mm? 😂
Nice, back in college days in the early 2000s we had a DDR players who played without looking at the screen with mostly great or perfect hits.
OMG!! I have been playing DDR for 22 years this is awesome. I'm legit saving up for my metal pad too. Hyyyype!
My cat wants one now.
Ill guess $500
Thanks M.L.P.
This is pretty damn cool. Not a huge DDR guy simply because I suck at it, but if this has the right price I would def pick it up. Figures on it would look hilarious too lol.
DDR brings back good memories. Back when I was in my 20's I had the game and the mat for PS2. When I had a bunch of friends over we'd all play. It was fun game that the guys and girls all enjoyed.
Are we going to a have an amico classic mini edition next? With preorders starting soon at $5000?
I remember installing these in control pad in like 2003
This thing is bad ass! I grew up with DDR and miss the f**k outta it. With the screen, lights and assuming it's partially metal or high grade plastic you'd bet this is gonna be at least $499. I'll probably buy it if it's in that range....
Very entertaining and fun to watch. Thanks for posting this.
REALLY wish this would go up to 5th mix instead of 3rd. I had a lot of great memories playing 5th mix and Daytona USA 2 at my local arcade back in the day.
I've still got DDR & 2 Dance Pads for it for ps2. This is pretty cool.
Edited to add, that the fact you can use these with a dance pad is pretty awesome!
Dang to bad it not like a mini arcade like Arcade1Up. That what I really want. Got me excited for a second there.
I used to love DDR. This thing is Definity a show piece. Can't say I'd buy one though. Still wanting that X68000 Z. Which btw should have been more the size of this imho.
I was told the Cheech and Chong gummies were legal!!!
No, seriously, that machine looks awesome. I do worry about licensing on the songs, though. I expect we won’t get a complete library.
Definitely going to skip this but it does look cool. I'm not the biggest DDR fan. I'm torn with the X68000 since the starter edition is a fine price but it only comes with 1 game and I was reading you can't add more games on the black edition with your own SD card (I have a friend that will verify when he gets his). The collectors edition has 24 games but it's so expensive at around $800 and then all the shipping and extra fees since I live outside of the united states.
Oh dang, I also want it even though I’m trying not to buy “stuff”. I have too much “stuff” already. Lol
Looks like it only has the Konami songs, no dancemania tracks no buy 🤷🏼♂️
Mad, I'm still waiting for Nintendo to drop a Gameboy Mini! 😊😊
Maybe this means there’s hope for a Konami GX mini cab. Man would that be cool.
I was very big in ddr. I still have my dance pads and use them on other rhythm based pc games. I would love to buy that.
This looks so sick but for the price it's going to cost you're better off buying a metal mat and emulating all the DDRs.
There was a small arcade at the city college I went to that had one of these, I never got into it or even tried it but I could see it does have a fan base
I wish someone would come out with PIU. I know DDR layed the foundation, but Pump it Up was a quarter muncher for me.
THIS but for the full Exceed 2 and Zero songlist. I want "Windy" by Yujin and "Eternity" by Eom Jeong Hwa.
omg dude another product no one else is bringing light too and i want one
I still play DDR today. I need this.
That game is at Dave and Buster its good sometimes my sister and me kinda like that one
For me it would make sense if you could plug in a mat and connected it over hdmi for home play.
yeah, thats exactly what you can do. We looked at all that in this video.
I would buy the poop out of this!
Ya man I saw that at the linus tech tip channel. It was a few second clip but it was a finished product and 1 player.
:Can't edit original mesg:
It was a tiny tiny finger model.
I ain't buying this.
These games are great!
Wow!
I want Dance Dance Revolution: The Sex Pistols edition.
