I've had 4 Crown Vics and 1 Town Car. I purchased the 96 Town Car 11 years ago and daily drove it 5 years and after that, I gave it to my dad and bought a 05 CVPI and wrecked it after 2 months. I bought an 08 CVPI and daily drove it 5 years. I accidentally won another 08 CVPI from auction a year ago which is my current daily driver. The Town Car has 371K and still runs well. Before all of this, I had a 94 Crown Vic which was the first car I purchased with my own money as a young adult. Never had a drive-train failure out of any of those cars.
They are great cars comfortable and they last forever. You have had some cool cars!
I currently own and drive 2 Town Cars, an '06 and an '09. Absolutely LOVE them, easy to fix and work on and drive like a dream. None of the new production cars can touch them.
