Wrong maps, night instead of day, other players who were faster and took the launchers, random deaths etc. I got frustrated... The next video after significant game updates will include the launcher, missing gadgets and new weapons.
So many bullets in a little magazine, it's fascinating and hilarious at the same time

Ingame Morita has either 50 round (standard, carabine) or 16 round (hawkeye) mags. I remember seeing 60 round double stack 5.56mm mag for AR-15 so its not that inconcievable. Also when you watch movie, those rifles are huge and yet "only" use (according to wikia) 7.62mm.

I like their design they feel sort like a hybrid between modern futuristic FPS guns and 90s retro futuristic guns

Now they should add the E-Pulse Rifle, Pistol and Heavy Rifle from ST2, the Morita Mk.2 and 3, the Morita Rifle from Invasion including the Sniper Rifle and lastly a shotgun attachment from the Morita Rifles or just add a shotgun for the Assault Type.
They have More Weapons in roadmap, well see.
Don't forget the e-pulse 88. That gun is badass
Not to mention the Morita Smart Rifle in the TV Series Roughnecks: Starship Troopers Chronicles with the same sound effect.

Nice video, but there are three more weapons that should be mentioned.
1) Rocket Launcher: Can be obtained only as map drop so it cant be shown in tutorial: Similar to Nade Launcher, but you dont have to worry about firing arc and its stronger. Used to kill Plasma Bugs and pretty much whatever has the audacity to move in front of you. Balanced with fairly low ammo count - 3 rockets in clip, 3 spare clips (without perks). Absolutely perfect when picked up by Hunter or Operators with Ammo Fabricators.
2) Knife: Very underrated weapon that has unlimited ammo and saved my life quite a few times. Also suprisingly decent in Starship Troopers.
3) Gas barrel: Until yesterday i wouldnt think of putting it into weapons list, but then i saw five dudes beating Tiger to death with them...

@@WEAPONSFROMGAMES Not that hard to believe, i have about 30% success rate getting one, but my friend only got to fire it in less than 5 missions and hes lvl 15 hunter. Our last attempt i soloed the crate (one of those unmarked ones) and waited for him to grab it. As soon as he equipped it we got instakilled by plasma bug.
How is there not a shotgun?
Not enough rate of fire to be viable, I presume.
Knowing mostly of the bugs will try to melee you and you are constantly being swarmed, Explains why there is not a Shotgun (For now) but well.. its still a Beta so lets just wait.
shotgun have excellent fire power but it is better for using in defense or hunting purpose, not on the battlefield where range and accuracy weapons are high priority

I mean a shotgun chould be completely viable depending on how they do it. Add some decent range make it semi auto and you chould probably do some serious work with it.
The Thompson being turned into a heavy calibre pistol is hilarious
The Emancipator loads *.308* rounds, too, which is crazy. It's apparently designed to be the sidearm for troops using the Power Armour seen in the anime-esque trilogy of movies from the mid-2000s, and would break the wrists of an unarmoured soldier.

man the reload animations on those guns are so over the top, especially the grnade launcher.
I gotta ask, do you tool assist these? That's three perfect 45 round bursts from the SAW.
I notice the Mori Mk. 3 has the rotating section from the heavy rifles carried by Power Suit troopers in the aninated movies.
I hope they put the marauder rifle from the old fps game, the one with infinite ammo and alt-fire explosive rounds
1:09 Morita rifles and carbines do not have sight in the movies
This is a videogame with ADS, doing that without sights is basically turning your rifle into the world's most inaccurate shotgun

I want a shotgun in this game so bad but I don’t want a 12 gauge I want what’s basically a high caliber round thrower shooting multiple high calibers at once from a single shell

Looks good but also kind of dime-a-dozen, it won’t really feel like a starship troopers game until your up to your ass in bugs.

Im pretty sure almost all of the guns in this game use squad sfx for their reload animations

@@williamjames7293 now that I don't remember. It think towards the end when the ship crashes with the brain bug. But if there was I don't think it was one of these. It probably was a 1911 because is scifi stuff 1911 still exists.

They all look like kel-tec designed them.
Yet funnily enough, the original prop/blank weapons from the movies are built around a the Muzzlelite MZ-14/Ruger Mini-14 bullpup
