Great job, one tip I could share owning the same machine is that next time don't smash your bucket into the concrete, this could ruin your bushings on the machine, ask me how I know lol. We run E42, T66, T770 and MT100 machines in my company.
When you pick up a fist full of roots you can drop it real quick and shake most of that soil off. That way you're not wasting all that dirt going in the dumpster. Just takes 2-3 seconds.
Hi Jay, I always do that exact things. But in this case, I knew I’d have to bring in a load of dirt, so I wasn’t trying to save any. At first, I thought your question was why not pick up the tree and drop it. Lol little bit too big for my mini.
Did you finish in one day? Nice job, I would try and use a smooth bucket to clean odd the concrete instead of carving the teeth into it. Unless they are going to replace the concrete.
Hey David Yes they are going to replace all of the concrete around the tree. It did take part of a second day because I needed a partial load of dirt to finish filling in the depression. Thank for your comment
who do you get your shark teeth through? I am waiting on a new e35 to be delivered this week. I am also getting a flail mower with it. I have been renting for 2 yrs now and decided its time to get my own.
Hey James, that’s super awesome. I buy the shark teeth online through Amazon. Just type in EXCAVATOR replacement teeth. The flex pin and the tooth run about $20-$25 a set. I try to buy them in bulk and save a little more.
I did same type job with bobcat and terrimite bkhoe. Mother nature helped by breaking 1 end out of ground. Should have came frome car port ,parked there and pulled at it from stump that was out of ground. Also yr removing too much dirt into dumpster. But good job bud.
Hey BK I removed the dirt because I knew I was gonna have to bring way more back to fill in where the stump was so I wasn’t concerned. Always great hearing stories. And happy new year!
Why don't you try to pick the stuff up on one side pick it up loosen the dirt break the dirt away from the the roots and you can do more with that and it doesn't matter that machine doesn't know two teeth from
why didn't you just put the roots and the driveway in the bottom of the hole or you could of pulled the stump out dug out a bigger hole and put it all in there and not needed a dumpster
Hey, Sea-Doo I sure did. Never found it. I’ve lost about six teeth this year. Only found one. Maybe it’s part of owning an excavator. There’s gotta be a better way to keep those pins in. Are you an operator yourself. Any ideas?

@@Mr.Digger I have a bobcat 435, it has a pin that goes thru the top of the tooth. The pin has rubber between the two metal parts of the pin, I constantly loose teeth, and never can find them. So I started welding the pins to the tooth top and bottom, what a mess when the rubber starts burning, however I haven't lost a tooth since. I now use a piece of 3/8 rebar instead of the pins. I haven't replaced any teeth yet and am pretty sure I didn't weld it to the shank, well see ?

Have you seen the adapter to be able to put the buckets on backwards?
It is a game changer.
Yes, I have seen that but I’m not sold. Not sure where it would fit my application because I love my thumb attachment.
Good job
Thanks, 8611
You are the Man.
I be the man!
Nice to see your checking on me once in a while to make sure I’m doing it right?

we have a ton of large thick flat rock we end up dealing with. have you had an issue with the shark teeth breaking or bending?

Hi Diggin,
Yah I know, right! Thanks for the comment
Молодец.
👍 thanks for the good word
What country are you from?
9 look at all that dirt in their poor truck drivers going to have to haul that out of there
It was an empty dumpster. So I really wasn’t concerned about the dirt.
You definitely need a bucket without teeth for finsh work.
Hi MC
Thanks for checking in and thanks for the comment

Hey Mark, that could work. I might try that. Thanks for the comment and be sure to subscribe. Really like hearing from you guys.

Hi James,
When you bury stuff you always have the leftover dirt from the hole to deal with. Sometimes there is no advantage.
Thanks for the comment
You lost a tooth at about 14:30
