Women in pretty mini skirts , smokin. Most of guys had 2-3 women steady. It was crazy. Love it. The Trammps had it going on; hit after hit.
I just happened to come across the song in FB! I haven't heard this song in so long and brings the memories of dancing disco with my friends in Queens. my dear friend Ruthie RIP loved this song and we BURN the songs on her turntable! The Trammps were a gift with their music.
The Trammps...the best disco band ever. Great sound, great vocals. I was working at Atlantic Records when Disco Inferno came out on our label. Awesome! But, their earlier tracks: Stop and Think and Save a Place are two of my favorites as well as Love Epidemic. But there are many other tracks that were great and hold up, even to this day.
Those 3 are def. the Trammps early disco classics. They were done to perfection.!!!! Hopefully that some youngster does not try to "remix" them and gloat about it.

Stop and think a while before you leave and say goodbye
You know you'd better stop
Stop it baby
Stop and think a while before you leave and say goodbye

If you leave I know my life will never be the same
One more chance that's all I ask

Ooh, I fooled around and took the chance on a one night fling
You caught me wrong
I promise you girl I'll try my best to do the right thing
Stop and think a while before you leave and say goodbye
You know you'd better stop
Stop it baby
Stop and think a while before you leave and say goodbye
Wait a minute now
There's one thing I'd like to say if you have the time
I'll confess the wrong I've done
If you say you're mine😍😍
Let me explain
Ooh, I fooled around and took the chance on a one night fling
