@@TheMonogramMompreneur yes! It was so much fun! I did it for a year before she closed down. Broke down and bought 1 machine for me and it’s been nice but I miss the store!
Love them. I sometimes run my single needle and multi needle at the same time. My dream was just any multi needle so I have a Ricoma 10 needle and I’m pretty happy with it.
Multiple machines is definitely a juggling act, but it gets easier once you find your rhythm with them! I like to get one started and satin/finishing stitch going, then move on to the next. By the time you get the second going, the first is often finished!
I’m looking at the brother 10 needle and the melco bravo. I can get them around the same price, but I’m already so used to brothers so it intimidates me to go to a different brand. Did you find the melco confusing to learn or is it easy to get used to if you already know the basics of embroidery?
When changing your thread you can cut the original thread and tie it to the new spool. Then remove the thread from the needle and pull the thread through until you get to the knot. Then retread the needle. It’s faster than completely retreading the machine.
Yes! I float towels all the time on my brother 6 needle ( I use my hoop or fast frames). Just pin well or secure well with clips! You can use mighty hoops too!
Hmm great question! I ran these just on my basic everyday settings, as they aren't super plush! Do you have a specific setting you prefer, or is there a certain problem you are running into??
How many machines do you work at the same time or Let us know your dream embroidery machine !!
That melco is a dream 😍. So fast.
Oh yes!! It is like a sports car!! She is fast and pretty!!
You are so cheerful. I was cheering you on!
I worked for a local embroidery shop and would run 4 machines at a time. It was so much fun!
Oh man 4 machines that sounds fun!!
