Irumyuu's story is the most tragic and sad one I've ever seen. She was rejected by her own people and found happiness when strangers took her with them, her happiness didn't last long though. She was afraid, grieving, insecure, sick and hopeless when the cradle of desire was given to her and that was only the start of some real suffering. I wished that when Faputa destroyed the village there'd be something of Irumyuu left, but unfortunately all that's left is Faputa herself. I truly hope that something of Irumyuu's soul is left in Faputa so that she can at least experience some joy.
This anime deserves more, I hate it when people say that this show is sickening. But you have to understand that it is what it is, just because the story is just to brutal doesn't eliminate the story building, character development, and emotions being portrayed.
People have tried to make Faputa out to be the bad guy in lots of ways, saying that the villagers didn't deserve it, or at least not those that weren't directly responsible, or the ones that arrived after - but there's a scene where they say they all expected this day to come, and the ones that were left alive willingly gave themselves up for her. Leaving that aside, the fact that the narrative allowed for her revenge to be fulfilled, and Reg supporting her in the end despite Riko's (and Prushka's) opposition was certainly deliberate. This show is kind of strange in the sense that it presents death as a worthy (yet definitely not pretty) solution to problems like this settlement that was literally built on blood, corpses and suffering, or in Mitty's case where Nanachi's devotion was shown through the efforts to find a way for her to die peacefully.
Beautiful, simply beautiful. To feel the sadness, frustration, joy, and sorrow that Irumui experienced and passed onto Faputa and how this video portrays it all is nothing short of perfect.
Damn i found the series 1 month ago and watched it, it was one of the best experiences of my life. I watched it together with friends again to spread knowledge about this masterpiece, you should too!! Even my father knows about this show 😂
This is the first ASMV I've ever seen and I must say you've set a really high standard for any other ASMV I might see in the future. Quality of this video is so great and clean, the choice of: music, key scenes, key lines, great captions, it's incredible. It feels like it's a perfect forbidden trailer in a sense that it spoils most of the stuff and gives the hype. Editing and effects are top notch, needless to say it was a really great watch.
