IS SCIENTIFIC METHOD ALWAYS VALID? Sometimes the experiments are conducted incorrectly or are not very well designed when compared to a crucial experiment. If the experimental results confirm the predictions, then the hypotheses are considered more likely to be correct, but might still be wrong and continue to be subject to further testing. Concepts like existence, life, and of course right from wrong, definitely are in the realm of philosophy and not science. The scientific method is certainly a very robust way of investigating questions. There was a time when philosophy was the best method available for answering questions about how the world works. It’s only in recent millennia that science has become a serious contender in that field, and it’s really only the last century or two that it’s been stepping on everyone else’s toes. Obviously religious creation stories were one of the first things challenged by science. People tend to dismiss questions altogether if they can’t be addressed by the scientific method. That is a mental weakness and is a failing of many individuals.
For me, because I'm alive and I know I'll die too, I believe there is a powerful God, that's enough evidence and I won't look for any scientific evidence.
