I love the new pattern. But I have a healthy amount of LV pieces, and I think that is who this pattern is for. But the commentary was hilarious, and I love the "YOU DO NOT NEED THIS" vibes, for those of us who need to stop consuming😅

I do like this collection, but mostly the Keepall 25 in the brown canvas and colorful monogram which I thought was going to be the unicorn piece. The waffle bag is…. questionable, it’s not giving LV or Tyler’s brand just seems kinda random and it looks like it would smell like those plastic basket bags from the dollar store. 😅

I like the craggy monogram belt, wallet, bumbag, etc. If they didn't apply it to everything in the line-up I think it could be appreciated more, it would be more like an ode to the previous colored monogram. A respectful nod to something that worked and was cool. But because they apply it to every item, I can understand why it feels like a complete watered down rip-off, so it's less tasteful. As if it couldn't find it's own signature so it had to borrow too hard. That being said, I still like it. I also like the hand drawn aspect to it, light-heated, fun, doesn't take itself too seriously but it still works for me. Very much Tyler's style.

Maybe I'm showing my age, but that monogram with the coloured in bits? (The first images you put up)...the first thing I thought of was a Trapper Keeper. Any other 80s kids out there remember when you used to get the plain ones and then colour them in, or add pictures/stickers/etc to customize them? You always thought they were so cool, but most of the time, they just ended up looking super tacky (or was that just mine?) I swear that's what that gives me. Someone who bought the bag plain then decided they were going to get out some coloured markers and 'personalize it'.

Hi Dacob and the Fashion bunker, I never get responses, but I might just get some today. I absolutely love this collection. I think that the codes have been re-addressed. I don’t remember LV doing such a colorful men’s line before, I could be wrong. And we have new colors with the damier and yes, the colored monogram on the duffel bags do 😅 llike Mirakami, I will give you that one. But I don’t mind it! 1/2 it wouldn't hurt for you to research a little. tyler the creator is not only a rapper. among other things, he's a fashion personality with a brand. such brand is based on golf, 50's, and preppy. probably with a black twist too.

Looks like a bunch of bad fakes from Canal Street due to the hand drawn monogram stuff.
Also an itteration of everything that has come before. Which fashion often does but sometimes it has a modern twist or something to give it an oompf.
This is just lazy and it looks cheap.
Boring. Where's the creativity? This looks like the sale section of an adidas outlet but with extra zeros on the price tag. 🙄

2/2 the bag certainly celebrates the importance of waffle houses to black americans. and even the rings in that photo are like the rings rappers and black athletes wear. i hate it all more than you do - i don't even like the brand - but it's not like it doesn't have provenance. and to criticize it without context... well, it's probably not that elegant.

It was said that it is a nod to the BBC Ice Cream waffle print hoodies Pharrell was designing in the 2000s and Tyler's own appreciation for the food.

Hasn’t LV learned from the mistake of their women’s line? I remember they released a diamond laser cut version of the Cannes bag in black with like a red drawstring fabric underneath and I think a tote as well that did not sell well. That was more creative because it has the fleur de lis pattern cut out as well but still was not successful. 😂 Why do they keep on resurrecting the multi colored monogram? And worst for their men’s line! It had its time then for women why even replicate it for men? I thought the watercolor design was more creative, this time they really pushed the envelop too far! 😮
