Just got a 2nd hand zed24 and can only use post fader aux's, 1 & 2 pre fader don't send any audio, only if set to a stereo pair.
My zed 16 have the same mute switch issue, the button doesnt switch always the led and sound cracks on and off while moving the pusbutton
please help me.
When broadcasting live, I do not hear any delay in the sound, why?
My 2 of channels are giving lower output then other channels what should i do

So could you hear the music while muted very quiet or normal? Also if you set the Main Fader to maximum can you hear noise on the Headphonejack? At my ZED 14 I can hear terrible noise

it would be interesting to know what AD/DA chip was in this mixer.. I'm wandering to buy a ZED as my main audio card, and I'm curios to know if the AD/DA conversion is good
G'day the brown wire from the P7 on the PSU has come loose. Cct diagram doesn't show where to reconnect. Where does that connect? Cheers

Very interesting videos, my Allen & Heath ZEDi8 will not power up. I have checked the obvious, plug fuse, continuity of cables and power switch. Will I now be looking at the main power board? and where should I start first? thanks
Yes - start with the main power board. Look for obvious signs of failure first. Be careful it's a switch mode supply, and can have very high voltages present even when unplugged. There is a fuse - check that. Then look at NTC1 or the bridge rectifier on the input side. If you can, test Q1. On the output side, look at D2, D3, D4 and D7.
Hi! I have a A&H SQ6, and I want to know If is it the same process to open it..? I mean about pull out faders and Rotary knobs to set free the top painel
HI! I've never opened an SQ6 - but I belive you can remove the top cover plate with all the faders in place - can't be 100% sure though.
Great video, does the board have a polarity button to reverse the phase on the channels?
No it doesn't
Aux1 low volume whats the problem
Bro my allen heath Qu 32 digital mixer some times not working the touch screen and the faders and some times its all the switchs are not working and some faders are vibrate or not perfect working. How i can solve or solution pls give....
It's not easy to diagnose from a distance, but it sounds like you have power supply issues. Chek all the power rails with a 'scope and look for under/over voltage and excessive ripple. Look for obvious problems like swollen capacitors and overheating.

Hi. It depends what the signal sounds like ;-) Is it a valid signal, leaking in from somewhere, or just noise?
@@Spiderelectron I can’t hear a noise, but I see in the screen it’s minimum but before was cero and I didn’t change anything. It’s like tic when you plug something

Hi Colin. Thanks for watching! My mixer is in use at the moment, but I'll try to get a moment to find the info for you. Not very often that an LED fails, so I'd check for mechanical issues such as bad solder joints too.

@@ColinJamesPoulter Aye - looks like a typical 3mm Blue LED at 20mA with FWD Voltage of about 3.5 V. I'd be happy to send you one FOC as I have a bunch here.

Sounds like a power supply fault to me. I would start by checking the power supply unit. Good luck!
@@Spiderelectron power supply is working alright 15 volts negative 15 and 48 volts for phantom is good but still i change all regulator except TL 783 i cant find it here to buy any equivalent ? still good power.
Is this an audio interface like can I record into a daw ?
It does have a USB in/out but it only supports two channels which you can select from the group buses, or main L+R.
It is not like modern digital desks that can route all the channels individually into USB. It does not support digital interfaces such as Dante.
SpiderElectron oh okay then I’ll have to get an audio interface lol I was like I can’t record through it ha but yeah I have this board rn and it’s very clean I’m so In love with it
