Only issue is price as with the Civic - to get a decent sound system to have to go to Advance trim and you are then hit with, almost, an extra £2000 in UK tax (rfl), Nissan and Renault have recognised this keeping the Qashqai tekna bose and Austral below the magic £40,000!
Qashqai or Austral may be cheaper than the ZRV but I know which one I'd rather have even if it costs a few quid more. The ZRV is superior in terms of build and engineering and will easily outlast the Renault/Nissan twins.
I cannot get my head round the taxes in UK that add a few Ks to the price of every car. I have just ordered myself the ZRV Advance in Gibraltar for the grand total of £33,500. Seriously its daylight robbery.

I think these are fantastic value! Even the top spec is less money than the equivalent kia sportage and they are far far better cars ! Had a Kia sportage and at 27 thousand miles it needed a gearbox. Then at 39 thousand the oil pump went killing the engine then it was the steering rack . I’ve had 6 Hondas and never ever had a major failure of any component! My civic 1.5 Lsj that i had 25 years ago done 266 thousand miles before I sold it and the guy was still driving it 2 years later! I also had a Honda Legend and although it drank fuel like an aircraft carrier it was the nicest car I’ve ever driven for comfort, I’m definitely going to consider one of these ,
Honda make great cars full stop. The grill is very much Mercedes AMG and the rear lights very much BMW and the front headlights are Lamborghini Uris and the rear quarter is Porsche Tycan. What I have also noticed the is normally a silver badge on top of the engine quoting Earth Dreams that’s gone as I have a 21 place Honda CRV E-HEV SR modal. I would highly recommend any Honda vehicle they just never go wrong and great to drive not to mention relaxing.
I looked at one yesterday but thought it was a bit bland aesthetically compared to the HRV, which is the car I really came to look at, but not enough rear headroom in that one.
Too much to pay for a decent sound system. Keep the glass roof because many of us don’t want it. Ditto with the not leather seats. Lovely car, but expensive.

Good review, I own a current HRV and my local Honda dealer is begging me to go take a look at this next weekend but I have to say I dont like it, I think rather than looking sporty I think its dumpy with a pretty ordinary generic styling, am I on my own??
What a dog of thing. About £5k to expensive for what it is. Less capable and more expensive than pretty much all of its rivals. Small boot for its class, towing capacity is useless. And boy, that gopping front end. Honda have lost the plot!
