I don't know if you know this, but..... This was a FESTIVAL. Do you know what that means? It means that not everyone is coming to see ONE SPECIFIC BAND! They're not going to know the lyrics. I mean, jesus, I didn't know The Neighbourhood well back then but when I saw Jesse come out onstage in socks and sandals and a leather jacket and he started singing and dancing around, I was sold. I came to this specific concert because I wanted to see Panic! At The Disco and Fallout Boy. There were many many others that played here. The 1975, Chris Cornell, Andrew Mcmahon and the Wilderness, Cold War Kids, Elle King, George Ezra, James Bay, and Of Monsters and Men. I went and let me just tell you that Jesse may have been high as all hell but there were also sound issues. I think he did amazing, I don't know why everyone is saying his singing was terrible. I loved it. It sounded great in concert. It was such a privilege to see them back when they hadn't gotten as popular. Stop complaining and stop acting so ignorant. I'm tired of seeing people like you in the comments complaining about how no one in the audience is "a real fan" and no one is appreciating this chance. There was a time when YOU didn't know the lyrics. There was a time when you didn't know any of the band members' names or the name of their newest album or single. Don't act like an elite prick. You weren't BORN singing the lyrics to every Neighbourhood song. By the way? Unless you're a professional singer who can tell good from bad singing, be quiet. This was a fantastic performance. Jesse had sound issues and when you can't hear yourself, sometimes you're not as pitch perfect as you can be when you have monitors in your ears. A loud band blasting behind you essentially makes you tone deaf. You're singing and you hear absolutely NOTHING. Even so, I didn't hear him go extremely flat or extremely sharp. He sounded good.
I feel horrible because I'm saying this, but why on Earth did he sing so bad at Kroq? He's voice is amazing, but I don't know what happened here. This performance is not great, but it's the best at Kroq this year.
