First! No words to describe how stunning, beautiful this is. Being from the states, we have nothing that looks like this that I have seen, and I have been to all 50 states.Even though DNA wise I'm 48% British Isles w/ a lot of Irish, but, I have never been to my ancestral home. So I am glad to see this country, thanks!
Person from Instagram here who's family owns Farrens bar. 😊 Really lovely video, we're in Germany in our van at the minute on our way home for christmas. I did get a good laugh at youse thinking Donegal town would be the size of Belfast. We're hopefully going to travel around Ireland ourselves in the spring so it's nice following along on your travels in Ireland. Thanks!
Hi! Yeah thanks again for that suggestion, we got such a lovely welcome and of course a great pint of Guinness 😁 We went to a few of the other spots you mentioned too as you probably saw in the vid so thanks again. We’d love to visit Germany in our van, it might be something we do next year - let us know what it’s like. We thought Donegal was so famous that it had to be huge! How wrong we were, lovely town though 😅
Oh u guys are making me so jealous. I'm so looking forward to our van finish so we can get on the road to discovering our own country. We are in Tipperary and usually head to Kerry for hols. So glad u enjoyed yourselves. Ady is so cute.
Hari OM Aw, Ady, I am a wee tad jelly-green about those bonny boots! I see you are learning camera skills too... model material. I hope mum and dad will pass on a wee Scottish Squeeze frae this auld aunty to you... Mum and dad - good work! I really liked your review of parking up and facilities. Gemma and Campbell had also mentioned the lack of trash places there - but neither of you have mentioned where you did actually throw out. Or did you just have to find commercial bins like that campsite? It's a very long time since I toured Eire; you whet my appetite for it once more. If I ever get wheels again... (drifts off into dreamland...) YAM xx
We’ve taken to unpacking our shopping in supermarket car parks and putting the packaging in their bins - most of it is completely unnecessary anyway. That’s reduced our waste quite a lot. But we’ve also caught bin trucks on the way past and asked them if we can throw ours in which they’ve always said yes to. And once there was a guy employed by the local council who was emptying bins who we got chatting to and mentioned the issues we’d had and he gave us a black bag to fill that he got rid of. So we’ve had to get pretty creative! Other than the trash it’s an absolute breeze in Ireland, though. So if you do get some wheels again we’d highly recommend it 😁 Hugs passed on to Ady xx
sorry about the Donegal rain - think I warned you :) The next week we had 5 days of glorious blue skies. Anyway, so happy you are having such a lovely time. P.S. - about the barman loving Ade (sp?) - all of Ireland loves children. It's one of it's many good points. Safe travels and thank you for the lovely video.
You certainly did! The rain has been lashing down but there have been some gorgeous sunny days in between. You’re absolutely right, it’s been like hanging around with a celebrity at times with the amount of people that come and say hello to and engage with her 😅 People have bought her things and given her money and all sorts, it’s just been so nice ❤️
Looks absolutely beautiful. I have been hoping to get to Scotland and now I will have to add Ireland to my bucket list! Thanks for sharing. The soup and pizza looked good. What kind of soup was it? Ady is so cute!
Yes add it to the list! Both stunning countries with the most incredible scenery 😀 That soup was carrot and coriander but we’ve been making all sorts of vegetable ones recently. Perfect for this weather ❤️
Hi Guys really hope you enjoy Ireland. We like to do things differently here. It would be really great if you could pop what three word descriptions of places of interest and park ups
We’ve really loved our time in Ireland! It’s somewhere we just love coming back to. Thanks for the suggestion on the what3words idea, it’s definitely something we’d love to do in the future we’re just a bit pushed for time at the minute 😅

I'm from the States, but have moved to Donegal. Should have done it a decade ago. You really should come to Ireland for a visit - it is mind-opening.
It is really incredibly beautiful, we think it’s one of the most beautiful places on earth so we’d definitely recommend visiting too 😁
What a place to move to, so much stunning scenery!
@@seamusfahey6165 lucky you! I would love to visit one day. Very drizzly looking!
@@estelleadamski308 - looked for a cheap flight and fell in love with it. Yes to the rain - it took me awhile to realize I wouldn't melt

Beautiful video. Beautiful views
Thank you 😊 Ireland is unfairly stacked when it comes to the views, there aren’t many more beautiful countries in our opinion
You're near Blessington co. Wicklow. I know the area very well and the Blessington Lakes. Lovely to see you enjoying your trip. 🍀💚😺💚🍀
Yeah spot on, lovely part of Ireland although we’ve enjoyed everywhere we’ve been 😊 Such an amazing place ❤️

Carrot and coriander sounds delicious! 😋 I agree, this is the perfect time of the year for a nice bowl of soup.
It’s one of our favs 😀
