- What Kande Hein thought were initially cold symptoms turned out to be Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) in her 5-week-old baby girl, Scarlett. After the infant recovered from hospitalization, Kande has made it her mission to educate other parents on the dire signs and symptoms of the virus.
When I was a baby I had pneumonia and the doctors couldn’t save me, that told my family to pray and I survived and I’m so grateful to be alive god bless that baby girl

As a child, I had RSV and Bronchitis, I'm so glad to be alive. As I had a big risk of kicking the bucket back then. God bless you and your daughter, your whole family too.

Parents know when somethings wrong and shouldn't be made out to be finicky. My GP didn't listen to me and told me I was worrying over nothing, anyway she was fine and it wasn't because i was a new parent, it was because new mums have this gut instinct. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🇬🇧

Went to the ER a few days ago and found out my 4 month old son had RSV. It has been a rough road since then but a few helpful tips from my personal experience are to keep a humidifier and cool air throughout your home, and limit baths; try to use a damp warm rag when cleaning your child, also have them drink plenty of pedialyte to keep your child hydrated anything under 3 wet diapers a day is a sign of dehydration and you should get your child to the ER.
My second child had RSV, and Bronchitis when he was a baby. He is doing well now, he is 5 years old
When my daughter was 2 months old she was in Mclanes with RSV and pneumonia. It was so scary. The hospital was the best.

I took my baby boy to the er and they said he was fine two times and today i take him to his doctor in the clinic and they tell me he has pneumonia 😭 i hate my hospital they also took out our labor and delivery but now i will happily take my baby to a hospital 30-40 minutes away
Our 7 day old spent 10 days with RSV derived bronchiolitis. So tough on the little ones.

@@summer651 He's 18 months now and a wild man. They usually do well with oxygen and feedings but it sure is hard to watch. Wishing your little one well.

Yea my daughter was 2 when she got RSV and had to move her to another hospital and was in ICU for a week
My daughter had at 14 days old. Hospitalized for 4 days but sick foe a long time. Had to have spinal tap and sepsis workup. It was awful. She was fullterm. Preemies are especially at risk.
My oldest son has been hospitalized with rsv 4 times, pneumonia twice and bronchitis 5 times. As a result he's been outside our house twice since covid. It sucks.
Keep praying there's no miracle that God can't create never underestimate the healing power of him.

What’s treatment did they use? My little one has it to but it’s definitely taking longer for them to help and she has the heavy, fast pace breathing.
My husband is also deployed and unfortunately he can’t be here with our daughter who was recently diagnosed with RSV.
how long until your daughter started to recover? my granddaughter has this and for now its not in the lungs but to stand by and not do nothing is just heartbreaking for me. And much blessings

I feel for this family but holy shit 107.0 temp!?!? Anything past 102.0 I would take to the emergency room. 104 is extremely dangerous but 107 for a baby that small? Can’t believe she let it get to that.

It was 100.7 - not 107. 100.4 is the threshold for infants to get them to the ER.
