They come in most colours to be honest. There have been some creative breeding programmes over the years. If you like beautiful colours, you should check out the 'silver black dapple' ... very, very beautiful.
I'm a big believer in herbal supplements. There are so many brands of horse feed on the market it can be quite confusing. It's such a juggling act at time's my old pony had ems so it was a lot of label reading and checking the ingredients. My old cob used to lose weight over the winter so it was a lot of research trying to find something that would add and maintain condition without him jumping out of his skin .so it was a balancing act. Your horses look in amazing condition and it's interesting to see what works for you
The market IS so confusing! I never realised how bad it was until I worked in a feed store a few years ago, I had the chance to read all the packets for ALL the big brands and I couldn't believe how basic some of the really expensive stuff was, and how conflicting some of the ingredients can be. This isn't the case for every horse food manufacturer, and I'm not here to say big brands are bad, but I think it's incredibly important to read the label and understand what your buying. Especially if you have a horse with specialist dietary requirements.
First of all I'm so proud and happy for you that you have reached 1k subs
