be aware of Zener diodes, sometimes the multimeter wrongly says its ok , you need a curve tracer to check them

Testing already soldered down components doesn't tell you anything since the readings will often be wrong as the components are connected to others.

obviously but you do not start removing components immediately.

This technique is known as “shotgunning”
Works if you understand how components behave in circuit and have no info
    It can be time consuming
I suggest a strong magnifying glass to try & spot damaged components

    Hi .
My washing machine doesn’t not wash anymore,
All it does is to spin and dry.
When filling water, it doesn’t not contain water ,it fills and drains at same time.
Could it be a pc board fault?

      1. Check the drain hose, it must be higher than half way up the glass door
      2. Some machines, ie Bosch, have a ball that floats in the sump hose attached to the pump, check this
      3. If the machine is pumping out the water, instead of the water just running out, the pressure switch maybe faulty, it’s incorrectly indicating the machine has over filled
