Well they both run on same fuel, they both run on the same surface, they both practice the safety. Aaannnndd someone just claimed they'd gap anything. Anything. Didn't say something similar.
Symmetrical doesn't just mean same size. It means that the set up is mirrored side to side. The turbos havr different housings that allows the pipes to all be the same length and shape side to side. An asymmetrical setup would have the exact same part number turbo side to side with the same housings and wouldn't look identical from right to left. Cleetus and their cars like mullet and Leroy use an asymmetrical setup for the benefit of only needing to keep one part number of turbo should either need replacement. In a Symmetrical system you would need two different part numbers on hand should either fail.

I’ve seen people build a duramax engine to rev to 6500-7500rpm which in that case a compound isn’t needed and therefore a twin turbo system or single big would be just fine. You only need a compound if the engine is way to small to turn a huge turbo or if the engine needs to spool up a turbo at a lower rpm; hence why they invented the t3/t4 hybrid turbo.
my dad gave me a 1970 C20 with the 400 4 bolt main when I was 14, I should have kept that truck but it was too rusty would have cost a lot so I pulled the engine and junked the truck..I'm 42 and still have the motor didn't have a chance to put it in anything yet or if I ever
I had a daily driver ‘02 pushing 800/1375 that would run high 10’s all day long, still tow 20,000 lbs and get 20 plus MPG’s. Put 300,000 on it before I let it go.

They where the second generation of the c/k trucks even tho its not technically a c10 it's at the same time and everyone calls them that
