Before release, I thought Deathless Rage would be good because I thought Mak'gora was going to be 1v1 - because that is how it is in Warcraft lore! But now that you can just deal damage to the Mak'gora target with anything, it is much weaker.
I almost did too, but my instincts told me to wait. Especially after taking "deep slumber" for malf, thinking he would cast seeds before sleeping. Thankfully, this was on an alt account. But I definitely have a couple of miss picks on my main.
I had great hopes for it, but now that you can just "cheat" the win in Mak'gora (in the lore, it is a 1v1 honor duel, but in the game, both minis and spells can interfere) it does not look important.
Actually i find it powerfull to make him stong vs dragón tower or resistence for ever in defense is more under tower talent atack or defense with The help of execute and yeah but diplomacy has lots of shenenigans like steal harvest golem, malfurion, tyrion or sylvanass or a funny one a Banshee. fun leader fun talents fun gameplay and all talents has use @@OldGuardian
2:42 so have an example here orgrim Challenges the banshee to mak’gora. Wins the mak’gora. I have the stealing talent. Orgrim actually steals the banshee ehe 😅… (looking euphoric) Yea! that… That happened. (looking disillusioned as Orgrim taken over to the dark side) 😂 perfect expressions ❤ funny as well Cheers for sharing this
Hi OG! Thank you for all you’re work! Out of the three new double race leaders, which do you feel is the strongest for pve? I’m deciding which is best to give the boost slot/wildcard to. Tyia!
I think it could still be useful in certain situations. Like if your backup gets taken out and no execute in hand vs. Abomination. Or too much backup dps from the enemy. But the more I think about it simply winning the duel doesn't do that much. It makes one unit a bit stronger. I would rather get that effect AND a new mini or map wide buff. Either way, though, I don't think picking deathless is an overall nerf, like some talents on other minis.
Seem like armored/resistant effects are removed when doing mak'gora and it does not reaply, tried with Fae and Shaman and it seemed he dropped it after finishing the MakGo. Think may be an bug perhaps
@@OldGuardian huh, that's intresting, so like an Egg for Whelps scenario then. thx did not know he changed thought was he just got "reseted" after the battle with more buffs
Could we expect any big changes that alter the talent priority? Ive already obtained Diplomacy and im about to buy Rally Thank you for this, and merry christmas for you and your loved ones
Yes, Diplomacy effect is a permanent damage-over-time effect. Note that the bigger the mini you possess, the more damage it takes per second (because it is the same percentage of its health), so no healer can keep something like a Molten Giant alive.
f2p here 🙃 I got Malf to epic with 2x rom, Anub to rare in last day of the event - no rom left, but got Orgrim to rare just in few hours of the event 😅
Seems like a random reason to decrease the time period. Also a random comment to make on a video about Doomhammer. Poor guy is desperate for more raids lol
OG, I think there's some important text you didn't mention that may make Deathless Rage ideal for something. Under the Mak'gora details the last sentence "gains more power the duel was" This leads me to belive that perhaps winning at 1 hp from Deathless Rage ensures the highest possible buffed Ogrim.
Thank you kindly. I've been specifically holding off on purchasing any talents on him till I heard from the expert.
It always amazes me how I ALWAYS manage to pick the worst talent first thinking "I can't be wrong this time!" 😂

Thanks for working on the holiday to bring us this.
Wow, thank goodness I held off. I have deathless on the grid. It looked good.

I was in a hurry so I could not get many takes: on my non-recording initial test he cleared the whole lane. Either way, great against Banshee.
@ I don’t think you need much takes… that looks natural and make me smile 😊
Hello Old Guardian, thanks for your work. My Wife and me wish you a merry christmas 🎄
Thanks for the info!
Happy Christmas! Great Guide as always. Thank you.
Thanks for the early breakdown explainer 👍
Best Christmas gift 🫶
Hi OG! Thank you for all you’re work! Out of the three new double race leaders, which do you feel is the strongest for pve? I’m deciding which is best to give the boost slot/wildcard to. Tyia!
The double damage is applied on the charges, so the tauren basically oneshots most of the minis
I got conquer and deathless rage both great.
great, just bought deathless because a guild mate said its good. he's rare, so i can get the other one i suppose lol

He becomes a new mini after winning so old effects are gone.

Anub'arak was changed a lot, but Malfurion not at all, so who knows. Blizzard has not indicated that they would be planning any changes.
Rally the clan good for raids I think
dAMN BOY, he is fast
How does channeled damage from witchdoctor work with double damage trait?
Does Goblin Sapper deal double damage with Orgrim’s leader ability???
no
Can you extend the life of Diplomacy victims with a healer? Will a Shaman extend the unit's life?
Yes, Diplomacy effect is a permanent damage-over-time effect. Note that the bigger the mini you possess, the more damage it takes per second (because it is the same percentage of its health), so no healer can keep something like a Molten Giant alive.
I was fearful poison damage would bypass “Deathless Rage” talent
Does double damage trait work with goblin sappers?
no

gracias
If you give him armor through Shaman, he loses it once the Mak'Gora ends
Yes, he becomes a different mini after Mak'gora.
@OldGuardian that's ridiculous
Since blizzard made the open queue, shouldn't they decrease the time period between MC& other sieges ?!
Seems like a random reason to decrease the time period. Also a random comment to make on a video about Doomhammer. Poor guy is desperate for more raids lol

*The closer the duel
Orgrim gets more damage (210 baseline) for winning at below 67% (230) and below 33% health (250), but that's it.
@@OldGuardian thanks! Good to have the actual numbers.
