Absolutely loved TLK the tv series, I liked the movie, but sadly I felt the movie was rushed, trying to tell the story of years in only 2 hours, when what would have done the fans justice was another 12+ part tv season - Destiny is all.
One of my favourite series ever, I just love everything about this show, the best part is the soundtrack which suits the series. I just can’t get enough so obsessed Am watching it again and again ❤😢
Whoaw I actually cried during this ending and I never cry for a tv-show, a movie perhaps but not a show. I must also say after all this time I've always thought that Wessex was the "last kingdom" now I know it was Northumbria. Such a powerful endning and story and now it finally ends. What an adventure it was everyone! Vikings believed that you are responsible for your own destiny. While christians believe that you put everything into god’s hand and he will deliver. This is what seperates the two faiths, and its quite interesting because I believe in both ways.
Sorry to say that is garbage. God gave his only begotten son, because he loved us so much, he gave us free will. Your right about the Vikings, but how dare you say we put everything in Gods hands and thats it, WRONG. God gave us free will to do as we like. What i cant go jump of a bridge because its up to God pfft wtf. Read your bible. Every knee will bow and every tongue will confess Jesus Christ is lord and savior. God bless
As I recall your fate was already in the hands of the gods, so sacrifices were done in order to have favor among them. It seems to be a mix of free will and some level of determinism. I find our ancestors and their religions fascinating.
Just finished watching the Seven kings must die... it was good BUT this song during the credits is absolutely breathtaking. This will be replayed many times going forward... thx

Rather, they make us remember what we were in other lives... they make us travel and inspire us towards better days... and in the power to fight for the true values that make Humanity evolve , for those who gave their lives in the past, and without legends..so that life and the meaning of peace and love in the world may always be the victory..of the last of our battles. Such an epic soundtrack. I get gooseflesh every time I listen to it. It's so powerful. You can just feel the torment, love, endurance and power! I loved the series. So mesmerized I am reading the books now. I am sorry it's over.
One more thing- NEVER was a “hand me down-Game of Thrones”… Better in many ways. Do not understand why so underrated Hope more people see this powerful series
I love Game of Thrones but i have to be honest and say this show is equal or better. The acting, storyline, music and obviously Uhtred and his men🤤🤤🤤 are absolutly second to non. I wonder when we get to see "All Kings Must Die"!

A version of this was used when Edward and Alfred and their army were waiting in the trees while Uhtred and his men were being killed and Alfred was teaching Edward when to call the charge. Never made it to the album though.
