Today we know that both Tae and JK have used the sign 👌(on My Universe live they used it mutually) and apparently it means "I love you". They took that from the actor Leslie Cheung whom Tae admires and who used that sign to declare his love to his partner of the same gender, without the others knowing. His partner was his childhood friend... I understand why he identifies with him.
