I had hoped an announcement would come after military service or after exemption, however it appears it's more complicated than that. I think they've been testing the waters and are hesitant to officially announce (examples: backlash from JK's official Spotify in January showed that much of this large fanbase isn't ready to accept him/them, and their country is still conservative and homophobic in general) and Taekook may not want to jeopardize their careers either as members of BTS or if/when they go solo). I also thought that if they came out, it would put an end to the ever increasingly toxic shipping wars and they could finally end this silly fanservice. I hope I'm wrong and they can one day announce their love to the world if they choose. For now, I'll take the hints they've provided us with, and look forward to some nice moments during their upcoming album promo and concerts.

Wow unbelievable! I’m not aware that one person can judge someones commitment and faithfulness based on their social media posts. I just know that everyone is not the same. Not everyone who have a relationship will have the same way to show their loyalty through social media and honestly they don’t have to if they don’t want to.
@@purpleheart2267 I'm not judging I'm stating, I'll give you an example, yesterday Tae showed up at Weverse with a Hi emoji, the post said: Thank you for the good pictures, and then he posted on IG a bed with flowers, that the clue I'm going to give you if you get it you get it if you don't you miss it. If you people want to continue believing they are committed is your choice, but I'm telling you they're not.
