I also went through an unwanted divorce. I thought it was the worst thing that could ever happen. Turns out God had a plan. I remarried and we’ve been married 37 years and have 2 children and 7 grands. God takes the bad and turns it around and blesses you abundantly above all you could wish or hope for.

I love freezer meals Mandy ! Thsnks for these wonderful meals ! I love pot roast so I think Cubing up a roast and adding potatoes, carrots , chopped onion , a stalk of chopped celery , a pack of onion soup mix, a can of cream of mushroom soup to the freezer bag and on day of cooking add black pepper and salt and a cup of water! Cook 8 hrs on low or 4-5 hrs on high !serve with mashed potatoes , noodles or Rice and a salad along with biscuits or cornbread ! Yummy God bless ❤️🙏🙋🏻🌈🌈
Mandy: I'll be honest with you... no I'm not into the freezer meal prep thing since its just me. I don't have big chest freezer or the need to for alot of frozen prepped meals. Many of these freezer prep meals are for bigger family households & not a single person like me. That being said I primarily watch these type of videos for ideas to make with the SSI-Disability benefits on a budget. I also make your recipes fit for 2 servings instead of the typical 4-6. That way I can have it for dinner & maybe lunch the next day. So I do use them, but not exactly as you intended. lol
All look delicious, as do the beef meals too. Do these need defrosting before dumping inti the crockpot? Well done you for staying strong and giving yourself challenges! Go girl!
I am cooking for just me now. After raising 4 sons its kinda hard toget out of the habit of large batch cooking. So now i eat what i want and freeze the rest in smaller portions to suit me. Love these ideas. You have to film again when you cook them! Especially the soup! I love soups! ❤️
I don't know why I don't think to put together freezer meals. I have 2 kid that I homeschool, I'm the co-president of our local historical society, secretary of our garden club and my husband and I never a business that we run out of our home. Most days I get to 3 or 4 o'clock and wonder what I am going to do for dinner. I'll have to make some of these meals. It would make at least one thing easier! Thanks for the reminder! Since it only took a few minutes to make each bag, wouldn't it only take a few minutes to combine the ingredients as needed? I just don't see the value of the 'freezer meal' thing, at all.
Yes, absolutely, but for me it takes the "thinking" part out of the equation on the day of. At 6 am I can just drop it in the crockpot and rush off to work! My brain doesn't work well early in the am!
If you were doing each one on the day you're cooking, you'd have to get the chicken out (each day), get the cans out (each day) get any spices out (each day), gravy mix packets, etc. Each day. This is production line in the kitchen. Just makes sense to do it all while it's all there.
I agree that if the majority of the ingredients are canned goods that it would be best to do a meal in a shelf bag and add a note to put the chicken in from the freezer to save freezer space. Rose Red has some videos on this idea.
Freezer meals saved us when I had my daughter. I still like to prep freezer meals but I'm so lazy I just toss bouillon cubes in and add water the day of. 😂
Do you have a tutorial about what to do on the day of cooking? Do we need to defrost or can it go in frozen? Can the cooked leftovers be refrozen if necessary? I've never made a freezer meal before. Sounds like it will be great for me as I have MS and some days I have no energy to cook anything and too often get takeaway.
Freezer meals are a great way to live healthy. The daily guessing game of what to eat is resolved. Coming home makes life easier. I don't have to think about it. It makes life much easier.
Hi Mandy! I made an easy freezer meal with walmart garlic and herb marinade and chicken pieces - but I am avoiding it. 😂 The last time I ate the walmart chicken quarters they were so game-y
I'm a fan of freezer meals! The nest is empty, but I still like the convenience of being able to throw something in the crockpot or Instant Pot. Bless you, teaching the kindergarteners. Both of my boys loved their K teachers, and I think it set the stage of enjoying school in general. (They are 32/34 now!) I taught HS chemistry. I've lived in TX, AL, SC, and now TN. I can't figure out what flavor of Southern accent you have, lol! Great job on the exercise, btw. The endorphins are so good for you.
These freezer meals look amazing and delicious. One trick I’ve found is that if I freeze each package as flat as possible, then they will thaw a bit quicker in order to “dump” out fully into the crockpot. Thank you for sharing. You are looking great❣️ One random comment: the person, or persons, leaving the rude comments are just very unhappy with their own lives. It’s time they use their energy and work on themselves 😊. These were great ideas, thanks Mandy! I may just dump some of these straight into the crock pot without freezing them. Question though: Can you really cook 2 chicken breasts from frozen in only 4 hours on high? I tried that the other day and the breasts weren't completely done (and they were small). It took about another hour. What am i doing wrong? --Long time cook, crockpot newbie
I have found that each crockpot can be different. For my crockpot, which doesn't have a rubber seal, I put a piece of aluminum foil on top and then place the lid to trap the steam.
That chicken enchilada soup sounds delicious! Freezer meals are definitely a huge time saver. I'm a stay at home mom and still love them. Supper can be cooking away in the crockpot while I help my daughter with her homework.
I’m new to crock pot cooking because I always thought it would take morning prep time and I got up so early for my morning commute I just couldn’t see adding more to my morning to do. That said, I’m now retired and am a little burnt out of having to cook every evening. I’ve never done the freezer meal thing but these look brilliant. Thank you so much. I love the idea of being able to put something in the crockpot in the morning and then having dinner ready when I’m pooped at the end of the day.

Aww 💝 Kindergarten 💝 My baby is starting Kindergarten this yr. 😢😍 My boys are going in 8th grade & my daughter is going in to 1st. She had a Blast in Kindergarten! 💝 And she's really excited that baby sister is going in to kindergarten & we found out today that she will have the same Teacher! 💝 So exciting 💝 I Loved our kindergarten years 💝 and I can't believe my last baby is starting kindergarten. And I have no more babies in at home or in preschool. I really am gonna miss her when she's in school all day and not back home in 2hrs. School starts and so do all the activities, sports, dance ,Tumbling, Boy scouts, Girl Scouts, church activities. Everything lol So it's definitely busy even just being home trying to keep a large family afloat! Lol Thank you for sharing meals! I'm trying to get my family to branch out and try new foods.

I'm a big fan of the slow cooker. I survived my working years with the help of freezer meals. Now that we are retired and empty nesters, we do more "cook once, eat twice" freezer meals. I've pretty much just had about 10 days off from cooking by pulling "planned overs" out of the freezer!

I just dump the frozen meal right into the crockpot and let it cook. I would freeze any leftovers into individual portions for future meals!
