Great videos. Thanks. Question: When you clean the mud off, why do you drop it onto the ground rather than keep on the trowel for buttering the next brick or placing it back on the board? Seems wasteful. Just asking, hope you don't mind.
Haa new someone would ask me that . I do re use the muck most of the time as you say but these brick faces are so rough it was just easier to scrap as I did it .Get the beds right and the waste is minimal. Good spot and thanks for you question 👍
Love your videos, if you could bring the sound quality up, have you ever used a whs 10 inch Philadelphia pattern trowel,I'm. a Bricklayer from Ireland 🇮🇪, and suffer from tendonitis, been told these trowels are easier on the elbow
Thanks for telling me about the sound. I had a whs 10 inch years and years ago nice trowel .I get the same condition as you so I no the pain of it .My trowel is a 11 inch marshal town that is so worn down buy it suits me .thanks for the comments hope weather is kind to you in Ireland. 👍 Justin
Thanks for getting back to me, getting cold, have ordered one of the whs,10,inch Philadelphia pattern trowels, hoping it might help with me tendonitis, keep up the good work,🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪👍
