There is a hidden stash crate in the elevator shaft. You will need to pole up to it but it’s a few frames above the door into the elevator shaft where all the first aid items were.
Yes, well noted. Some of us game nerds (not me) disparage the relative ease within which one could make and stack blocks and that's called poling up. That's why some will not want to pole up and prefer to make ladders quickly and get up that way. My thinking is, it is their game and they are welcome to play it their way.
I just want to make a clarification about the twitchy guy appearing at 13:20 during the landclaim block conversation. Spawning refers to the process in which a zombie, in this case, is instantiated and placed into the world. The part that is confusing people is that this 'spawning' of zombies, like twitchy mcgee there, is actually just the turning on of the zombies already there. The data that dictates which zombies to spawn/enable is calculated and saved when the server is initiated, a POI is reset via quest start, or time has passed in the area (it may just use timer values on the data that was already there, would have to come back several days later and see if the zombie spawns are identical). Anyway, when that timer expires and they want to update the data in a POI (usually because a player entered the chunk), no data will be set for any spawns within the landclaim block area. It's nitpicky, but there are layers to what traditionally is "spawning". Wandering hordes represent that much better.
This is the first time I see anything of 7DTD. And it just amazes me the knowledge that this man has about the game. He knows where the zombies are supposed to be and even where and what loot there is. Amazing!
The House on the Hill was my first really big home base project. I had it all upgraded to steel, I had a garage, a farm, a 4 meter wall, I built THREE gun safes. Great memories.
22:26 "GAMES NOT OVER TILL YOU MAKE THAT DEATH CURDLING NOISE" XD that shit made me die so hard im gonna watch all this series man! loving it so far and you're funny as hell. also im learning alot watching and being a new player myself which is good so thank for teaching i guess
Glock you look like you may have played an hour or ten thousand of this game. I can’t wait to catch up on this series. If I’m feeling a like a little “7 days to die” I always come check you out and when I do, I always spend hours watching your content. Thanks brother and Gods blessings on you, your family and all the endeavors y’all take on.
Bravo glock9. That is a challenge right there. I'm gonna try it myself. Spawn in at the house on the hill and try clearing it out straight away as a squishy lvl 1. All you get to use is the loot you gather on your way.
Awesome another series. Your tactics aren't cheap Glock, that is using game mechanics to succeed on higher difficulties. Appreciate the content brother.
Me: Has used the house on the hill as a home and a horde base, house flipped it Glock: [Pops out a wall behind a book case in the library] [Gets to the crate on the other side at the start of the bunker with ease] Me: [Jaw drops] Glock: You didn’t know about those?
my buddy and i used the underground as a pit base. the zombies tend to bust open the garage and go down the elevator shaft even if the vault hatch under the porch is open. if that hatch is open, some will still come down, but if its closed, all go down the elevator shafts. its a pretty dope spot for a base
I came out of Rekt's and there was this chicken across the road laying down. I fought of a lumberjack and the chicken was still there... as soon as I drew my bow, that chicken RAN! Chicken intelligence in 7Days is nuts!
Long time fan of the channel. I wanted to tell a little bit about Glock9's zombie names. "Skinny Pete" was the spider zombie skin from previous alphas. Since alpha 20, he has been roasting the hell out of that zombie. Some of these lines are pure gold.
I really like seeing you run through this POI because you know it so well. This has been a really fun series in the past, and I'm looking forward to it again.
There's a difference between cheap tricks and cheese bases. So long as you don't go cheesey with the horde base keep using the cheap tricks. They're amusing and educational. Using hatches has given me the confidence to kick up the difficulty level a couple ranks.
I just set the Game not to respawn Zombies and completely renovated the Mansion. And I love it! It looks amazing! And with some mods you can make it fully work like a normal house :) with all windows open, and nice sunlight on daytime or candles on nighttime it’s just beautiful to live there and go looting’ the abandoned settlements around it. To make it a little more “I am Legend” style, I activate spawning while I travel the wasteland and make it a little more interesting.
the john wick starter intro with the house on the hill writing was amazing, pulled me into watching, and really made me interested in seeing more. great job and very entertaining!
Not watched for a few months and decided I needed my fix of 7dtd content, who better to provide that fix than glock9?! And it's a brand new series, EVEN BETTER. Thank you :)
The newest scariest thing in 7 Days to Die are random Dog houses, i swear you just cruise and a Mini Horde spawns, and you S key backwards without Realising and then you hit a Dog House and suddenly your bleeding, infected, abrasion, broken arm and leg and you realise "oh crap a Dog spawned cause of the house"
This is a nice demonstration of how to get by on higher difficulties. I figured you would have to use every bit of loot you could find to its potential. I play 7D2D on Nomad :). I have played it on higher difficulties, but it usually becomes a death loop. I like to run around and fix/build stuff. I've played 7D2D for 800+ hours and I've never been past day 70...
Im so glad i found your channel. im also from jersey that had to leave the mother land and move to Maryland and was looking to find someone playing this game while not answering calls on patrol. just got in to this game few months ago and started playing recently. anyway wanted to say keep up the good work. my fav part is a few episodes ago on father glock you mentioned this and actually went for it for the new series. Thank you for the entertainment and teaching me about this game
This is gonna be great. I really enjoyed the first House On The Hill so I’m looking forward to this. And I just started a small DF map, on day 4 I found this POI near Trader Jen. As soon as I’m able to, I’m going to move base from Jen’s to that house.
Oh hell, yes! Going to love this series. Besides the great intro's, montages, and expert game play the icing on cake is that G9 is the Jacki Mason (May he R.I.P.) of 7 D 2 D!!! Love it.
Haven’t played 7dtd in a while so I haven’t watched a Glock 9 vid 8n a minute. Reminds me how funny this guy is. Like actually hilarious. It’s just the snarky remarks he makes towards the zombies that gets me.
Love the start of a new series. I don't know how you play on that difficulty, every time a try, i get murdered instantly. You make it look so easy, lol. Looking forward to the next episode. Legend.
Stiff legs, Romanian deadlift, good morning, bent over rows, conventional deadlifts, etc. are all great lower back exercises if they are done correctly.
You are sooooo good. You never feel bad about using hatches - you gotta have some strategy and not everyone can pull doors/hatches fast enough to work, so it's not like the rest of us could do this (I would be dead a million times over) :)
Don't forget the crate above before you go down the elevator shaft. If you are facing the shaft it would be like 5 blocks up and about 5 blocks right there is an opening in the wall
I found Glock's channel about a year and a half ago. I'll never regret it. He was the person who got me into youtube and different areas in gaming. I would recommend him to anyone...
I think the simplest way to encourage zeds to go to the bunker would be to open up the elevator shaft and fill it with ladders. Build a base in the open cave area. Save the final escape shaft for...escapes.
Great start for the series! Cool that you're starting/living in the snow biome, makes all the encounters intense! Looking forward to seeing the house get cleaned and fixed up along the way. 😁
The nimble zombie comment made me think that it would be a great setting - ragdoll landings vs nimble cat landings. Add another element to how tough the zombies are to manage. The new ragdoll mechanics really take them out of action long enough to get some good hits in.
"Pffffft" on anyone calling the hatch trick unfair. I did basically the same thing with frames. And that's only because I wasn't smart enough to think of using hatches. The only thing...the ONLY thing giving a remotely questionable edge is the obvious fact you have done that bldg before. But BFD on that too. Awesome vid dude. Plenty of food lessons to be found. Or will folks say I'm cheating for learning them.😱
I am very impressed at your skills in 7D2D. I've only done that POI a few times, and never without more firepower and lots of meds. I will eagerly wait for each episode. 👍
Hey, get this! You can shoot down torches and candles with bows and crossbows now! This comes as part of the hidden stealth update that came in alpha 20!
@09:10 - Have you considered the pipe baton at all? It's a bit finicky, but once you figure it out it's pretty sweet. @30:00 - You could have placed that hatch there, all you needed to do was take out the doorframe first. Two hatches would have made this a lot easier for you :P
I did a similar thing where the house was my base and the bunker was for hordes, I dug a 6 wide 4 tall tunnel from the bunker out to the road up the side of the hill and reinforced the sides with concrete. ended up working near perfectly
I've been a long time viewer from time to time... that being said, every time I jump back into the 7dtd mix you're a pivotal part in my love for the game. Good stuff, boyo 🙏
The hatch idea is a genius idea though. I don’t really see it as a cheap move, it’s honestly really good at slowing down zombies and giving you a chance to pick them off.
I think its good to combine series from the past especially house on a hill since it ended soo quick years ago, also doing a small house flipper is an amazing idea! Its like 3 series in 1 😁. Also spending some time making a really good horde base would be great. Its good to take some break from modded 7 days to die until alpha 21 hits
I knew nothing of 7 days to die before finding your video/ channel. You make this very interesting, I have wishlisted the game on steam and plan to binge watch the rest of this series. Great Content my friend.
Hey Glock, just an idea for that opening sequence. Maybe after the point where the moon reflects of the side of the house, you could quick-cut in a image of the house with all the windows aglow with torchlight just before cutting to black. I think that would make for a sweet little effect.
I was sad Darkness Falls ended.. but you never let us down with new series!! Im hype to see a big house get renovated for a nice base and hord base in the ground!
You make such good videos! I’m amazed someone can make so much content from 7d2d. Because you’re such a pro - maybe a series where you have to play with a complete noob? That would be funny
