Great video, short and to the point. A lot of folks don’t realize that a Commander was used as AirForce1 by a Pres. Eisenhower from 1955-1960.

The very first model was flown to DC,WITH 1 PROP IN A CRATE,looking for the military sales,but IKE was impressed,and he was a pilot,that’s how 1 became ikesPERSONAL PRIVATE PLAVE,VIRTUAL AF1, the rest is history ! It still exists,and was recently refurbished,,looking great ! Designer,was TER SMITH,who also designed the AEROSTAR,,later owned by PIPER,
