I found a place to finally buy some cards. They only had st17 but I brought 2, combined them and I'm gonna go to the store night on the 30th to actually play the game in person for the first time.

Numemon is way too fast. Bandai needs to limit/ban some cards and slow the game down. We’re quickly approaching yugioh levels of “you have the answer in your opening hand or you lose”
or at least give beelze SOMETHING, if you set a tamer to try and reduce evocost you mainly do it on turn 1 o 2 if you do it later its a waste of a turn
maybe beelze decks need ruin mode for the nume matchup? the stack would still play a beelze, blanket effect would buy you time to mill more, and rivals could pick it back up to be re-used again

at 6:05 even if you add back the nume X, as it is a inhereted effect the [on detion] resolves, those are considered to be effects of the top card and only misses if the top card is not in trash at the timing of resolving. I read that in the rules a few days back and found it interesting 🧐

So, you're correct about the top card thing. The only issue here is Proto Form is an interruptive effect. So you add the source back BEFORE it actually gets deleted. So when it's actually deleted, it no longer has that inheritable.

Yeah it's a somewhat uncommon interaction but something to be aware of for when it comes up.
Love your decklists and videos, what are your thoughts on bt-16 for red/purple imperialdramon? was thinking of splitting the dinobees 2 and 2 along with the new rookies and maybe teching new davis/ken

I already run a virus Imperial and am looking forward to having direct Tamer support come BT16 letting me mix with the blue/green deck. Not sure what my deck list will look like but yeah new Rookies and Ultimates for sure are going in.

It is one of the most poorly worded cards printed so far. A lot of people miss that part because of it.
im loving the platinumnume deck. im seein a lot of folks usin purple base to try and get platnume in trash faster or somethin. yall have any opinions about runnin black base or purple base?
i recall on the podcast they talked about it while reviewing decklists. sean said he thinks the black base is more consistent. peter, who won worlds, is also using black base with agu/aguX in his recent numemon games. but there have been people who have won/topped events with purple base
Black base can make safer evos in the rising to protect itself against blue decks which however besides mirage arent more prevalent. On local level however, a decent jellymon player with okey hand will shredd numes boards if they cant play around it.
