I love what you're doing bro. Been watching you since you started your channel. I am in the NYC too. Can we talk about you coaching me?
800 pounds of force? Why not just say, "approximately 8000N" you'd seem much smarter.
If your name is Porsche, you better be fast. 😂
But then here comes Bolt....
thats like a baseball player named gunnar 😂
Yep
No matter how much we train, we will never run fast in our dreams.
Excellent
So do the leg press?
What about hose of us that sprint off of our toes
Bhai koi mujhe Hindi mai samajha do please 🙏🏻😊
Is 37 fast or normal for 120 seconds?
Dude, we don’t care. No one is measuring how much force we put in to the ground. We’re not going to stomp the ground harder to try to be fast. Stick with actual knowledge
pinned comment got lost
Usain Bolt applied 1000 pounds of force at 28 miles per hour
And is a 6ft+ male
@@camalex7782 and?
@Masterraccoon Lmfao. You mean African genes. Smdh! And thats not why he was so fast.
@@biggalaxy9102 he's fast by training also he works for his speed like everyone else does
@@MSB-Benchmarking speed only gets u so far. Track is a type of sport that is one majority of the time based on genetics. Like Bolt. He was destined by God to be fast . It’s even in his name. Bolt is 6’5 and around 200 pounds and he moving faster than Tyson gay and yohan Blake. Now ofc hard work is applied to but if sprinting was only on hard work , everyone could run sub 10 100 meter
God loves you and He sent His son Jesus to die so you can have forgiveness of Sins
These numbers mean nothing if you don't give us their weight as a reference
Or number of strikes per second/min
Facts also use the metric system and give us impulse measurements not just force
That running form looked so good. Pure eye candy
Eye candy yes
Agree
power = force * velocity
*THE MORE YOU KNOW*
now I know why doing sprints makes my legs sore for a week
Do it again
About " how fast this vertical force can be applied to the ground" it only depends
1. From the possible maximum amount of total vertical force
2. The transfer of this vertical force from the leg behind to the opposite leg
So what is the goal? Is it lifting heavy and then working speeding up the legs during sprinting
Hip thrusts improve sprint speeds
Looking at their arms and legs moving in sync is mesmerizing
Thanks! Brilliant tips
Sir, how to train for off season, pre season and on season
Run and do full body workouts.
that does nothing to build a dominant fast-twitch sprinter's ham (says guy who had crazy speed
So run harder and quicker .....no need to coat it with science
Tf does that mean "coat with science". Dude is just explaining shit.
Nice vid bro keep up the work
Thank you

Nooooooooooo reaaaaallllllly yyyy almost like we didnt know thats how running worked since the beginning of time
It's not half the force as you need to subtract the weight of the human.
Avg weight 200lbs
Sprinter applying 600lbs extra running
Marathon runner applying 300lbs extra
That's exactly half!!
This cearly proofs that vertical force is NOT that important for achieving faster running speeds.
But horizontal force is!
Lol you didnt have to say muscle mass.😅 mass was enough. F=ma. The acceleration was the same so the only difference was the mass.
So it’s power then?
What I want to know . Is how do long distance runners train to reduce that ground forces while getting faster
So as lightweight as i am,my applied force will be much more small?
I’m the pinned comment you’ve all been looking for 😎
And you better have a 9.0 100 m time
No way bolt looking side ways while sprinting 😂
I find vertical force to be a confusing term. Is there a video explaining what it means?
You need to be examining horizontal force. No one is running vertically.
🎉😊
If they were to run at full speed on a bunch of heads. Would they all just explode?
Force over time is power - so the more power the faster you go!
Power is work over elapsed time. Work is force times displacement. Force is mass times acceleration.
But yes, more power would translate to greater acceleration.
Mass x Velocity = force right?
Just take off sprinting in a parking lot and see how people look at you
The physics in this video is all wrong
waaaaaa. but muh ground forces?!!! lol amazing how little we know about running and locomotion in general
Now the question is, how fast can they run ?
Its physics. F=ma, acceleration = force / mass. Higher force, higher mass, same acceleration
Simple physics simple ideology
Foot speed is important
Basic Running Knowledge…
So how do I get faster?
Drive your legs as hard as you can into the ground. Always inline or slightly behind your hips. You need to work to get your knees to make a 45 degree angle with your hips and torso. during acceleration, your body almost leaning 45 degrees forward. You should be able to draw a straight line all the way from ankle to shoulder. After 30ish M, upright torso with knees parallel, drive hard down and back. That's the basics go train 👍
Yes but to execute all those perfectly on command is really really hard..
@@bigchainring1977 of course, but knowing the fundamentals is half the battle. Most people sprint wrong, myself included, for almost my whole life 😂, up until I actually studied it. 👍
