The PS4 versions of games are not optimized to take advantage of the PS5 ssd unlike the Series X. Take a look at all of the next-gen games that have next-gen updates. They ALL load faster on PS5. Spider-Man MM loads to in-game in less than 9 seconds.

Bro. You’re loading different areas, don’t have the PS5 on auto login, and yours is either slow af or you’re messing with the “times”. I can have my system come out of sleep on cyberpunk and be in game within 7 secs.
As a ps5 player I can only say Xbox has made a brilliant console with some awesome features! The only reason that I’m playing on ps5 is because of the exclusives and the interface etc. If exclusives weren’t a thing Xbox would be my console! I have to say that some of you might think that 'quick resume' is not useful. I used to think the same thing, but after playing Cyberpunk 2077 and shutting down the console. Then turning it back on a few days later to play a completely different game and start off with 'quick resume' exactly where I started is just... THE BEST THING EVER. I don't even use the 'save game' option anymore since I have quick resume. The best part is that quick resume is not limited to just 2 games, it can actually hold a lot of games; hence the reason I do not use 'save game' option anymore.

You have to preform the test multiple times to see if the results are consistent, and the loads and saves should be the same size, location, as well as have the same settings on for crowd size and so forth.

I watched the teardown of both systems and the Xbox seems to have the better build in regards to the case and cooling, and the quick resume looks like it works great on that game, not so much on some others.
Xsx is fast and it is a great console but still I kinda prefer ps5 exclusives, personally. I still don't get why under every video like this sony fans are saying bad things about xbox and microsoft fans are saying bad things about ps5, because both consoles have their advantages at different aspects. This world just cannot have a little understanding.

These consoles are pretty dead nuts on specs. I’ve seen the same games run faster on different peoples consoles so I’m gonna chalk it up to them being on equal footing in terms of loading, and their specs are close enough that frame rates will probably be similar in cross platform games. Buying both for the games
Well the problem is we haven't seen what the series x can really do as no developer has really done much with the rdna 2, hell the devs just got updated in June and games have been delayed because direct takes 12 was getting updates to support full Rdna2.

Either way the difference is negligible, when the next games are going to be optimized for these ssd’s the difference in loading times will be a couple seconds. Once you get into high end ssd’s the difference between is basically nothing

i have the series x and the quick resume is golden. i havnt touched valhalla in 4 days and then the second i click on it, it loads in under 8 seconds, exactly where i left off. quick resume is better than fast load times. even if the ps5 has a god ssd, quick resume will destroy that regardless

@@LeedleStudios I doubt it look at any other third party game when they get optimised for both consoles ps5 always has a faster load speed than Xbox and it’s clear as to why, because ps5 has the faster ssd. Xbox runs backwards compatibility a lot better than ps5 because the Xbox put more time into it whereas ps5 isn’t really focusing on last gen titles

So results are kind of skewed here since you're not loading the same saves or fast traveling to the same areas. In order to keep the test as fair as possible make sure to do that in your next comparisons.

@Brian Scalabrine as much as i am an xbox fanboy, i have to admit the ps5 is a bit better. For the average person there'll be virtually no difference in performance, but the ps5 has more exclusives and the controller is pretty sick. Overall they're both great consoles though.

XSX is great, but I think the only thing that would encourage me to get a ps is no crossplay on some games(to play MHWwith my friends which has no crossplay) , or the exclusives but other than that I love my xbox one

On Xbox one X I usually have to wait 7 seconds if I put the console in sleep mode and then start that game again in the morning or at any time really. On the Xbox one X I can also switch between UA-cam and one other game. So like shits pretty good already.
